Lucifer: "So here you all stand."

Jacob's team has stepped through the door before it closes behind them.

James: "So we've got to win before we can go deal with that bastard."

Lucifer holds out his hand.

Lucifer: "Yes, but that isn't happening."

Jade: "You sure sound confident."

Eryth: "You do realize that the True Original One is on our side."

Gold and silver balls of light separate from Origin.

Jacob: "What're you doing?!"

Origin was in long sword form, so the balls of light form a replica in Lucifer's hand.

Lucifer: "Using our connection. It shouldn't surprise you."

Jake: "We're ending this whole thing Lucifer."

Lucifer holds his sword behind him.

Lucifer: "How many times have I told you to call me father?"

Jay fires a bullet that Lucifer slices through.

Jay: "How many times until you realize that he isn't?"

Jack: "(smiling) You aren't coming out alive."

Lucifer holds back Jacob and Jake.

Lucifer: "I'd love to say the contrary."

Lucifer sends the two flying backwards with a small push.

Jacob: "Really? It's only a matter of time."

Jacob switches to his katana.

Lucifer: "For you. (in head) I'll wait just a bit more."

Jay and James line up with Lucifer's sides.

James: "I never forget a weakness."

Lucifer: "(chuckling) My heart? Isn't it the same for him?"

Jacob steps back a bit.

Jade: "So what?"

Lucifer holds back a rush down from James and Jay before slamming their skulls together, but not knocking them out.

Lucifer: "It's just as easy to kill me as him."

Jack sets the area around Lucifer ablaze.

Eryth: "But he isn't alone!"

Lucifer steps through the flames as if it were a small waterfall.

Jacob: "Y-Yeah..."

Jay: "Don't get soft."

Jacob puts his hand on Jacob's shoulder.

Jake: "Let's take him down!"

Jacob: "Right!"

Lucifer proceeds to dodge any attacks thrown at him.

Jason: "Not much of a surprise."

Jason takes a slash to his side.

Lucifer: "But this time it's only you."

Jacob dashes forward.

Jacob: "(in head) Only me..."

Lucifer notices the look of self doubt in Jacob's eyes.

Lucifer: "(in head) Now the time is right."

Lucifer leaps over the attack and leaves Jacob wide open for an attack.

Lucifer: "You desire death."

Jason: "What did you say?"

Jacob's heart sinks.

Jacob: "(out of it) No..."

Everyone turns to face Lucifer.

Lucifer: "A Catalyst is born from the aspects of their personality."

Jay: "What're you getting at?"

Jacob: "(mumbling) Shut up..."

Lucifer: "Reith was born by the Original One who had wanted to protect his world, but a small piece wanted to erase it."

Jacob is clearly beginning to lose control over himself.

Eryth: "(horrified) What?!"

Lucifer points towards Jacob.

Lucifer: "A Catalyst's power manifests when the Creation is in danger."

James: "What're you trying to do?"

Jacob: "(darkly) Shut up..."

Lucifer: "What's occurring as we speak is the perfect example. I'm the only true piece who desires to kill while every other piece desires order."

Eryth: "(in head) What's getting Jacob?"

Lucifer: "I'm the piece that embodies his desire to meet the grave."

Jacob: "I SAID SHUT UP!!!!"

His allies look at Jacob in confusion.

Jake: "What's the real pl-"

Jacob lunges towards Lucifer out of pure rage.

Lucifer: "(smirking) This."

Lucifer holds out his open hand perfectly aligned with Jacob's heart.

Jack: "Jac-"

Lucifer is now holding Jacob's heart with his hand coming out of Jacob's back.

Lucifer: "We knew that you couldn't accept the truth."

Lucifer rips his hand out as life drains from Jacob's eyes and falls to the ground.

Jade: "(horrified) Didn't you people want him?!"

Lucifer tosses Jacob's heart to the side, flicking the blood off of his hand.

Lucifer: "I'm more than a suitable replacement."

Jake tightens his grip on his sword.

Jake: "(tearing up) So you're always as heartless, no matter where you go."

James: "So your plan was to exploit his own personality to your own advantage?"

Lucifer holds out his sword.

Lucifer: "Sorry that we had a change of plans so suddenly, but we knew how impossible it would be to get someone like the Catalysts to comply."

Lucifer kicks Jacob's body to the side.

Lucifer: "Horus's Creations were already a pain."

Eryth: "Horus's Creations?!"

All heroes lock attacks with Lucifer's sword.

Lucifer: "You won't be able to get to him anyways."

Jay: "We aren't letting you just walk away from this."

Lucifer repels before roundhouse kicking everyone into a single wall.

Lucifer: "To think you actually grew to care about a troubled child."

Everyone gets back on their feet.

Jason: "That's not a surprise."

They continue the fight with Jacob's body flying after every blow.

However..."

Jacob: "I can't deny it."

Jacob is standing in a golden void, distraught an empty inside while in his normal clothes.

Jacob: "He's right. This is all I ever wanted."

Jacob has memories of him being bullied, teased, but most sadly, all alone.

Jacob: "It's over for everyone."

Jacob takes a single step forward.

???: "But you also know that's a lie."

Jacob: "A voice?"

Jacob turns around to see the soul of an old man standing right behind him.

Old Man: "So you're my creator."

Jacob: "The Original One..."

The Original One walks over to Jacob.

Original One: "You know deep down that there's another piece. You know the time isn't right."

Jacob: "Huh?"

The Original One takes Jacob's hand.

Original One: "The reason you hadn't gotten this close to death before is because you know that you can't die yet!"

Jacob has something snap in his mind.

Jacob: "I know but..."

Jacob is back to the person he was before.

Jacob: "I'm already d-"

Original One: "You aren't."

Jacob: "Then where is-"

Original One: "The deepest machinations of Reith."

Jacob: "Here?!"

The golden light envelopes Jacob and the Original One.

Original One: "Now it's time you finish the rest of the story."

Jacob realizes just what he's really capable of.

Jacob: "(determined) Time for the complete truth to shine through!"

The Original One merges with Jacob.

Jacob: "(determined) You aren't going to beat me Lucifer!"

Jacob fades away.

Meanwhile...

The remaining heroes are critically wounded with Lucifer barely having a scratch on his armor.

Lucifer: "Are you finished?"

Jason: "(in pain) Like hell we are!"

Lucifer looks in disappointment.

Lucifer: "You know I can't kill you."

Eryth: "(in pain) You think we care?"

Lucifer slowly walks over to them.

Lucifer: "Not one bit."

Lucifer stands in front of them.

Lucifer: "I'll start with you."

Lucifer reaches over to pick Jay up by his shirt.

???: "(darkly) You won't touch them."

Lucifer: "Oh?"

Lucifer turns around to find Jacob stumbling on his two feet.

Jay: "(in pain) Jacob?"

Jacob: "(darkly) Lucifer is the name of the devil himself here."

Lucifer begins to walk towards Jacob.

Lucifer: "How flattering considering my birth."

Jacob: "(darkly) You're the embodiment of the dark side of humanity."

Lucifer stops after a single step.

Lucifer: "Is that all you wanted to say before you die?"

Jacob: "(smirking) You six were always confused as to why your names all started with the same two letters."

Jacob begins to swing.

Jake: "(in pain) Wait..."

Jacob: "(smirking) My quirks..."

Jacob's heart sinks.

Jacob: "... my calmness..."

Jay's heart sinks.

Jacob: "... my determination..."

Jade's heart sinks.

Jacob: "... my talents..."

Jason's heart sinks.

Jacob: "... my optimism..."

Jack's heart sinks.

Jacob: "... and my loneliness."

James's heart sinks.

Jacob: "(smirking) You six are pieces of my own personality manifested to take down the manifestation of everything wrong with the world!"

Jacob picks up his blade before it breaks apart into several balls of light.

Lucifer: "So are you still going to fight when I've given you-"

Jacob: "(darkly) The time isn't now."

The Original One is visible in Jacob's mind.

Original One: "Then are you going to show them Origin's true form?"

The balls of light swirl around Jacob.

Jacob: "(smirking) You've lost Lucifer."

Original One: "Then show them your true powers!"

Jacob: "Origin!"

The orbs of light merge with Jacob's armor, instantly returning his chest to normal.

Jacob: "Evolution Mode!"

Gold, silver, and bronze flames erupt from beneath Jacob as he begins to scream in pain.

Jack: "(in pain) What's he doing?!"

The flames grow larger.

Lucifer: "What kind of light show is this?"

Jacob's mind however, is thinking as clear as day.

Original One: "You know you can stop if it hurts too much."

Jacob: "(in head) I have no choice if were all coming out of here alive."

A cape of bronze flames sprouts out of Jacob's back.

Jason: "(in pain) That isn't normal fire."

Silver flames erupt from the outer parts of Jacob's forearms.

James: "(in pain) That isn't fire."

Jake: "(in pain) Then what is it?"

Golden flames erupt from the sides of Jacob's shins as his armor becomes more protective of his chest and covers more of the back of Jacob's head.

James: "(in pain) Pure energy."

The flames are inches away from Lucifer as Jacob's hair begins to glow.

Jade: "(in pain) Pure energy?"

Some embers land on the injured heroes, healing their wounds.

Jacob: "(in head) Now let's finish this."

Jacob's hair is gold at the base and silver at the tips, with a few bronze strands all the way.

Original One: "I quite agree."

Jacob's screaming dies out as he closes his eyes and the flames shrink back down.

Lucifer: "Pure energy? He's only a child."

The flames are gone as Jacob now stands with a menacing demeanor.

Eryth: "J-Jacob?"

Jacob turns towards Lucifer as he opens his eyes, revealing that the white part is silver, the iris is gold, and the pupils bronze.

Lucifer: "How do you expect to win without an actual weapon?"

The floor glows bright red beneath Jacob.

Lucifer: "No words?"

Jacob takes a step towards Lucifer, filling everyone with fear.

Jay: "(afraid) Why can't I move?"

Lucifer is unfazed.

Lucifer: "So what?"

Lucifer dashes towards the unflinching Jacob.

Jacob: "Useless..."

By the time Lucifer ges to Jacob, he's gone.

Jake: "How fast is he moving?!"

Jacob is behind Lucifer now.

Lucifer: "J-Just lucky!"

Lucifer swings his blade, only for Jacob to already be gone again.

Jay: "He's toying with him!"

Jacob is behind Lucifer again.

Lucifer: "Toying with me?"

Lucifer lunges towards Jacob.

Lucifer: "Don't make me laugh!"

Jacob catches the blade.

Jacob: "Pale... imitation."

With a simple grip, the blade shatters into millions of pieces.

Jade: "Just a simple grip shattered something like that?!"

The blade turns into balls of light before merging with Jacob.

Lucifer: "A simple grip?"

Lucifer steps back, knowing just what Jacob is capable of.

Lucifer: "(afraid) This isn't something the Original One can get close to..."

Lucifer tries to run, but Jacob is in front of him no matter what he tries.

Jacob: "Get... ready..."

Lucifer looks as though he's taking punches in thirty different areas simultaneously, but his body looks as though it isn't moving at all.

Jack: "(in awe) He's fast and deadly!"

Jay: "He told us to get ready."

Jay and James stand up as Jacob does a visible roundhouse kick that creates a crater that extends to just in front of the others. Meaning it has at least a 20ft radius.

Jade: "Us?"

Jacob proceeds to pummel Lucifer at speeds Lucifer can't hope to comprehend.

Lucifer: "(in head) I can't activate my Dimension Leap!"

Jacob dive kicks Lucifer in the chest before jumping back and landing next to the others.

Jake: "This is the end Lucifer!"

The once pale golden aura glows as bright as the sun around all of the heroes.

Lucifer: "(weakly) No..."

Heroes: "Perfect Synergy..."

Blue light trails behind Jake, red with Jay, green with Jade, white with Jason, yellow with Jack, and purple with James as they attack Lucifer relentlessly.

Heroes: "... True Hope..."

Jacob appears right in front of Lucifer.

Heroes: "... Accepted Destiny Style!"

Jacob lands a final punch straight into Lucifer's gut.

Jacob: "I won't run from myself."

Lucifer is sent flying straight through the door the heroes came in from, on the verge of death as Jacob returns to his normal attire.

Lucifer: "(in head) Now!"

A golden button plops onto the ground next to Lucifer's hand.

Jay: "What's that?!"

Eryth: "An escape route!"

Jacob: "Are you fucking kidding me?!"

Jay takes aim at the button.

Lucifer: "(weakly) I'm sorry I have to leave so suddenly, but..."

He pushes the button before Jay can pull the trigger.

Lucifer: "... I must locate more pieces of the truth."

Lucifer is gone the moment the bullet would've destroyed the button.

Jacob: "Guess you can't kill a weakness, but..."

Jacob looks towards the others as a door to the other side opens.

Jake: "... you can always accept them."

Jade punches the floor.

Jade: "(pissed) We would've had him if he didn't have that!"

Jacob: "Then let's take down Horus and find him again."

Everyone nods.

Jason: "We really can't do anything else until we can get back home."

Everyone heads for the exit on the other side, with Jacob finally accepting his own flaws as part of himself...
