Chapter 4
Wilbur's POV
I woke up to Techno shaking me awake, and I was about to slap his hand off of me and continue sleeping when I saw the look on his face, which was filled with curiosity, concern, and slight excitement at the same time.
Well, of course I got up after that, because whenever he had that look it was probably something weird that he had discovered, and because I hadn't seen this side of him since we were kids.
I threw on some clothes and shoes and stepped outside of the tent, careful to not wake up Phil and Fundy, and followed after Techno, before I stopped at the edge of a giant jungle.
"Uh, hey, Techno? Aren't we supposed to wait until the others wake up before we go explore the island?" I asked, but was soon dragged along by Techno through the biome anyways.
What confused me is that after a little bit of being dragged along, the jungle abruptly stopped, and transformed into a forest with all the types of trees in the world "innit".(Please don't kill me I had to take that pun-)
But Techno didn't stop there, for he basically pushed me over into the forest and pulled me over to a rather large bush all without saying a word, and motioned for me to stay silent as he slowly pulled the bush to the side.
What I saw next amazed and confused me even more.
There was a group of different mobs, all who were young, and were chasing each other around in a game of tag as a few Enderman watched over them, who all had.......wooden planks in their hands?
Suddenly, I felt a sneeze coming to a rise, and while I did my best to cover it up, Techno still had to pull me out of view just in time as the Enderman looked over in our direction.
But as we were hiding, one of the Enderman started walk over to our position, and was about to peek over the bush when a voice interrupted the tension, and the Enderman moved away from our location, making us silently sigh in relief.
As we peeked over the coloection of leaves again, we could see a young boy, who looked no older than 15, run into the clearing with a worried expression in his face.
The boy made a series of noises identical to what the Enderman made, and they pointed over behind them as the boy seemingly thanked them and ran in that direction.
Now was the time that we decided would be a good time to leave, and we both jogged silently back to the camp, and we were about to get out of the jung when we were met with the angry face of Phil.
Bee Boy's POV
The day started out simple, I suppose, when the entire island was woken up by a shriek of terror from a young skeleton, who could be seen running over to Tommy's house just as my brother stepped outside the door.
I was glad that they weren't hurt or anything, but the question that my mind wanted me to answer was why the skeleton even screamed.
I decided that I would ask the Enderman first, and I walked over to the closest group of them, who were currently watching a small group of mobs play while one Enderman seemed to be inspecting something, before they saw me and walked over to say hi.
After asking where the cause for the scream could have came from, they pointed towards the jungle, and I followed that direction until I reached the edge of the lushery.
When I peeked through a random leaf wall that so happened to be in my path, what I saw confused me.
There were strange........mobs, that I hadn't of seen before. They sort of looked like me, but an older and different version of Tommy and I.
When I started slowly backing away from the area that was beyond the jungle border, I accidentally stepped on a rather fragile stick that made a loud noise, louder than a normal stick should, and I started to run back towards where Tommy's hut was when I felt something grab the back of my shirt and drag me out into the open.
Dream's POV
Alright.
Waking up to a worried Phil at 8 in the morning was definitely not the most pleasant way to start the day.
Seeing Techno and Wilbur come out of the jungle that was right by our campsite without telling us that they had gone wasn't a happy occurance either.
And now, we have a boy that we found running away from spying on us that won't talk a single word on the ground surrounded by all of us while Bad keeps failing at trying to communicate with him.
This certainly wasn't going to be our best day at all.
SapNap's POV
Something about this boy intrigued me to start groaning at him like a zombie to get him to speak, and I don't know the fuck why.
Dream literally just ran into the border of the jungle and dragged him out of the biome like he already knew he was here, and now everyone's failing at trying to get the boy to talk.
I was just about to head back to our tent and try to clear my head, when a blur of red, blond, brown, peach, and white whizzed past us and basically tried to drag the boy by the arms into the jungle, when Skeppy and Dream jumped into action and pinned the two boys down.
The one that we had tried to get to talk just looked full-out confused, while the other one that had basically just tried to kidnap the other was thrashing about and growling like a wolf with rabies.
It's not even noon yet and I've already had it with today.
Tommy's POV
I was confused when the weight from my back was removed, and I took that chance to dash over to Tubbo and stand in front of him like a shield, for I was ready to attack someone if they made a single move towards us.
After staring down all the weird beings that were around me and my brother, I turned my back to them and checked if Tubbo was ok.
"Tubbs, you sure your ok? They didn't hurt you or anything? What happened? Who-No, WHAT the fuck are they?" I asked, questions quickly flowing out of my mouth, before Tubbo put his hands on my shoulders and tried to get me to calm down.
"Yes, I am 100% sure that I am ok, and no, they didn't hurt me. I don't exactly know what happened, and I don't know who or what they are too." Tubbo responded, answering all my questions with 2 quick sentances, and I sighed with relief, when I saw a larrge pack of wolves bound out of the jungle and circle us protectively, and started growling at the new beings as their eyes turned red.
"They must have heard our yell for hel-backup."
"Yeah. Thank the gods too. This island is so big, I'm suprised that someone even took notice."
As soon as the wolves declared that the weird beings were a safe enough distance away form us, they jumped onto us and started licking our faces.
"Mr. Tom and Mr. Tub! We were so worried something had happened to you!" One of the younger wolves yelped, and the others whined in agreement before they stepped back a little to give us some space to breath.
"And now that we've saved you, we demand some breakfast!" Another playfully growled, trying to break up the solem mood, and we all chuckled a little before I asked some of the wolves to go get some trustworthy mobs to keep watch of the weird beings while we got the pack some food.
Well, this turned out to be one wacky day, and I think me and Tubbo deserve some good stress-relieving sleep after we finish up all the chores here.
Bruh, I literally wrote this entire chapter while I was on the bus, in writing class, and in my last class. That is what I call an a c h i e v e m e n t. Alright need ta wrap this up, so Hope you enjoyed, Thanks for reading, and Fox Out!
