Layla's P.O.V

I watched as Dark turned on me, his smile turning sinister. "That is what I thought."

I had tried to keep them safe until my next supply of the Sleeping Syrup came in, I was far too weak to just knock them unconsious, but Dark bursted into the room, his eyes landing on the screen where Mark and Yami were being adorable and kissing. I got beat up pretty badly. I was surprise at what powers he still had, but still.

"Y... you can't kill me. Not with what little strength you have." I whispered, tears springing in my eyes.

"Oh, how that is about to change." Dark replied and he turned back to the screen.

I shivered in pain, clutching my arm. I decided to do the only thing I can do. I staggered over to the controls, and pressed the release button. The wall opened to reveal a staircase.

"How dare you continue to fight back." Dark hissed, and I felt myself get thrown into the wall, my vision growing blurry. I tried to stand up again, biting my lip to stop me from screaming. As I made it to my feet, my head started spinning and I collapsed down again. I heard Dark laugh and I shivered, paralyzed in pain.

"I... I won't..." I whispered before the blow of the pain hit me. I screamed, my voice echoing across the walls
