Gaster Underfell
G-gaster Underfell? Yeah... I know him... We weren't the best acquainted when we first met... In fact... He hated me when we first met. But he was really quick to warm up to me. I remember that day too. Gaster classic and I where playing chess. And at that time Gaster had been teaching me how to control my powers that I apparently possessed (which is why I can make things float when I'm mad or sad) and we had just moved on to telepathy. Gaster was winning of course, but at least I had the whole "moving inanimate objects with my mind" part down.
"Check mate, Capri." Gaster announced.
"What? No way!" I had announced, for the umpteenth time that day, and looked at the whole board. Gaster was right though. There was no way I could move my king any place without putting him in jeopardy. "You win again... What's that make it now? 15-Gaster 0-Capri?" I asked, putting another tally on Gatsers side of the chalkboard. Gaster only chuckled.
"You'll get it someday Capri, I promise." Gaster announced.
"Yeah, the day you drop dead." I mumbled.
"HEY DINGER! WHERES THE GRUB?!" A voice boomed from the kitchens back door.
"Nice to see you too, Underfell." Gaster announced as he flicked his hand, which unlatched the door, and reset the chess board. Gaster made the first move again, since he was white, and then waited for me to make my move. Nervously, I grabbed one of the pawns with my magic but second guessed myself and set it back down and bit my lip. Gaster smiled gently at me.
"Take your time, Capri." Gaster encouraged. I nodded slowly and thought hard about my decision. I picked up a pawn again and placed it, and smiled satisfied that I had finally been able to make a decision. Gaster made his second move, and just as I was about to take his pawn, I was lifted from my seat, slammed against the wall and then held by the jacket. I looked to the imposter in front of me in fear.
"Underfell! Put her down!" Gaster yelled. The Imposter, who at this point, I assumed was Underfell, growled at me, but threw me down nevertheless. I got up, shakily and looked to Gaster.
"You guys sure like slamming me into walls..." I groaned, rubbing the back of my neck.
"Gaster, why are you protecting that... Monster" Underfell spat.
"She, is not a monster, Underfell, she is the reason you are here." Gaster announced, taking my hand. "Underfell, this is Capri Zant, and she is more powerful then both your sons and my sons combined." Gaster explained, putting me forward, so I faced Underfell. Underfell glared at me. And for a second, his glare lightened in realization, and he kneeled down and brought me into a tight embrace. I was so confused. During that whole interaction literally the only thing I was thinking was "UUUUUUUHHHHHHHH?????"
Eventually, Underfell stopped hugging me and I stood there utterly baffled.
"Gggggggaaaaaassssssttttteeeeerrrrrrrr???" I whined and took a few steps backwards.
"It's okay Capri, Underfell sees what I saw in you the first day we met. He sees his sons in you." Gaster explained. I raised my eyebrow.
"You have sons? And you didn't tell me?!" I asked. Both Gaster and Underfell laughed.
"And one day, I promise you'll meet them." Gaster announced.
"Will that be the same day I beat you at chess?" I asked. Gaster chuckled.
"Maybe so, Capri, maybe so." Gaster replied.
From then on, Underfell and I have been on... According terms really. He tolerates me I tolerate him.
