Gaster Outertale
When I first me Outertale, I didn't really know what to think. He showed up a week or two after Underswap started to live with Dad, Dadfell, and I. And by then Underswap insisted that I call him Dadswap. And in all honesty, I really started to open up to everyone a little more after Outertale came. I should probably just get to the story huh?
Well it was a normal weekend day. Or as normal as a weekend day could get at the Gaster household. You know, with three different Dads all wanting quality with their only daughter, my schedule fills up pretty quickly, being the only kid around. Dad wanted to play chess, Dadfell wanted to take me to the park so we could practice Gaster-blasting, and DadSwap wanted to teach me how to foxtrot. I couldn't catch a break, all day. I had played chess with Dad for about a half an hour, practiced with Dadfell for 2 hours, and then foxtroted with Dadswap for 45 minutes. I was exhausted. I guess, though, that it wasn't obvious to any of the Gasters because every two minutes I was shaken awake by a different Gaster. Finally, dinner came around the corner and, I kid you not, I was so tired, I passed out right there in my seat, nearly fell backwards because of it. Thank god for my fast reflexes and magical capabilities. Otherwise I probably would have broken a bone.
"You okay, Kiddo, you aren't looking to hot." Dadfell announced, with the slightest bit of concern in his voice.
"Y-yeah I'm.... F... Fine..." I yawned.
"Are you sure, Capri?" Dad asked.
"No..." I groaned.
"Do you need something, dearest?" DadSwap asked.
"Sleep..." I replied.
"Sleep...? Did we wear you out or something, kiddo" Dadfell laughed.
"Or something. I don't know if any of you realized, but I'm human. I have muscles that ache, and build up lactic acid if they are used to often. Using my muscles takes energy, and if I use to much of it, I become tired and fatigued. I'm not just a skeleton like you and your sons. I have special needs that you don't, because I'm more then bones." I explained, looking to each of them. Dad, Dadfell and Dadswap looked to each other a little disappointed.
"Sorry, Dearest, we were so used to our children, I guess we forgot to take the whole human part into consideration." Dadswap announced.
"No, no, no, don't be sorry, this is on me, I should have told you all that I was starting to get tired the moment I was. You can't blame yourself for that." I replied.
"But we were the ones pushing you past your limits, kiddo." Dadfell added.
"Nuance, the point is, I lead you to believe that I was fine. And that was wrong. And I apologize." I replied, then started to pick at my veggies on my plate. Dad was about to make a content argument, but there was a knock on the door. "I got it." I announced, getting out of my seat, and walking over to the door. I opened it and was immediately slammed into the wall and held up by my jacket. "Dad!" I yelped.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa! Outertale! Put the kid down!" Dadfell announced, as the three stood up and rushed to the door. The fourth Gaster set me down and I was immediately filled with pain in my arm.
"What is it with Gasters and slamming me into walls?! Am I just slammable?!" I asked holding my hurt wrist out to Dad.
"It's sprained..." Dad commented. Dadfell gave Outertale a death glare while Dadswap rushed to my side and submerged me in hugs.
"Are you okay, Dearest? It's okay, Dadswap is here." Dadswap cooed, scooping me up into his arms.
"I'm sorry! I-I didn't know! Oh my stars, is she okay?" Outertale asked.
"She'll be fine." Dad commented.
"That's a hell of a way to make a first impression, Outertale." Dadfell announced.
"Hey Dadfell, pretty sure you did the exact same thing." I remarked, which earned me a death glare. Of course, Dadswap stepped back and held me in a protective position, so Dadfell couldn't retaliate out at me.
"I can heal her." Outertale offered.
"That would be great, Outertale, please come in." Dad announced, and gestured to the couch, where Dadswap and I sat. Dadswap released me and I scooted over toward Outerfell so he could heal my wrist. His hands glowed purple for a few seconds, before his placed them on my wrist. There was a few moments of tension induced silence so I struck up a conversation with Outertale.
"I'm Capri. You must be Outertale Gaster huh?" I asked. Outertale nodded.
Silence.
"Do you have two sons like Fell, Swap, and Dad?" I asked. Outertale nodded.
Silence.
"Are they named Sans and Papyrus too?" I asked. Outertale nodded. Then he took his hands off my wrist and sighed.
"Can you move it?" Outertale asked finally. I nodded and rotated my wrist in a circle a few times. "I'm very sorry. If I had known the child was a human, I wouldn't have attacked. Please forgive me." Outertale announced. I laughed.
"What is there to be forgiven, Outertale? That wasn't the first time I've been slammed against the wall when meeting a Gaster." I announced, pointing to Dad and Dadfell. "It's self defense I suppose." I shrugged. Outertale laughed and nodded.
"You are much more understanding then my sons." Outertale replied. I smiled.
"I get that a lot." I replied. Then Outertale pulled me into his lap and wrapped me in a hug. "I also get these a lot, surprisingly enough." I commented. That made Outertale smile really big.
From then on, Outertale was always careful with me, and was always open to hugs. But he wasn't super obsessed with them like Dadswap was.
