Thomas' P.O.V

I woke up the next morning, cold, alone, and empty. I didn't feel hungry that morning, I just went outside so I could go see James and tell him how much I appreciate him and how I want us to be together. Just me and him.

As I was walking, a girl came up to me, she seemed new in the neighborhood, she looked a lot richer than my other friends.

She asked where I was going, I didn't want to tell her so I if ignore the question she kept touching me and trying to get my attention.

Once I was in front of James' house I told her that I had to go, she jumped up and kissed my cheek. James opened the door to his house wearing a different dress at the worst time. She then ran off, James stared at me in shock. I saw tears well up in his eyes and he turned away and shut the door.

"And that's how I lost the love of my life at the age of eleven."
