That night, Iseul cried hour after hour.

She forgot to make herself invisible in front of Yoongi as Yoongi sat outside on the balcony, listening to her sobs.

He felt bad but he needed to let her know that she would be getting a funeral tomorrow.

Iseul's emotions became too heavy for even a ghost like her as she struggled to keep her sanity as she transferred to her child form and adult form from time to time.

Yoongi looked at the little girl who looked too pitiful.

He wanted to embrace the girl in front of her but he knew he couldn't.

The girl was bound to not get embraced or hugged anymore.

"Iseul-ah.." He mumbled but couldn't get the courage to talk. He sighed as he suddenly felt funny. Why won't he? Then suddenly out of nowhere, a ghost popped up. And that ghost happened to be the girl whom he tried to save.

It all felt like a dream but a necessary dream. As if the god wanted him to experience this thing personally.

Yoongi stayed there with that pitiful ghost for an hour as he finally got the courage to talk to her.

"Iseul..."

Iseul sniffed as she looked at her father.

His sympathy was something she didn't want to see but also wanted to see it.

"I... The police officer from earlier told me that... your funeral still hasn't been held.. It..will be held tomorrow. The hospital didn't let them take your body that day."

Iseul spoke nothing. Maybe she finally found out why she is still around even after she found out the root of her misery which held her back in this world even after she died.

She had a hunch that maybe tomorrow would be her last day. With her father.

She didn't want to waste any time. However, she couldn't hold back her tears.

Yoongi seemed to have the same thoughts as her.

"B-by any chance... will.. you leave tomorrow..?"

Yoongi was sad. Sad because even though she was a ghost, he still thought of her as his friend and someone of his son's age.

Iseul quickly shook her head.

"I.. I already told you. I am your guardian angel."

The bright smile that she showed Yoongi was so sorrowful yet grateful as if she was both in pain and joy.

Unknowingly Yoongi's eyes moisture up as he started to cry.

"A-ajussi..?"

Yoongi shook his head as he whipped his tears away.

"I am sorry. I-I don't know why I am crying."

"Ajussi... Since my funeral is being held tomorrow.. can you grant a wish of mine..?"

Yoongi sniffed as he nodded.

"Please... don't meet with Baek Sora.. and just... stay at my funeral.."

Yoongi blinked a few times as he looked at her. She didn't want him to talk with the woman.. Why? Did she remember that this woman was his ex-fiancée?

Yoongi didn't know. But still, he nodded.

Since that woman was involved in Iseul's accident, he will respect Iseul.

The whole night, for some reason he couldn't sleep. He had this anxiety and fear of something that even he couldn't distinguish himself.

The morning came. He looked at her soulless eyes which seemed to be thinking something. They were in the living room.

For some reason, this was the first time Iseul talked so much about herself. From how she was raised to how she wanted to become a music composer.

Yoongi wanted to listen to her playing a piece.

But Iseul couldn't touch anything. For some reason, Iseul could only touch only one time. Which was when she was at her mother's place.

Maybe because that Grim Reaper was with her?

She didn't know.

Iseul looked at the sunlight the heavy stone in her heart became heavier.

She stood up and she tried to touch things. As expected, she couldn't.

"Ajussi.."

"Yes..?"

"Can I call you appa?"

Yoongi was stunned at her request but he nodded his head.

".....Ap...appa.."

She turned around and looked at him as she called him.

Yoongi felt his chest become heavy as he felt both happy and sad.

He smiled a little not knowing what to do.

But Iseul smiled.

"Can you promise me one thing?"

Yoongi didn't say anything.

"Can you... just live happily and forget everything after you find out what you were looking for? You will live in guilt if you meet your child. So can you please just live happily?"

Yoongi didn't know why but Iseul always wanted him to stay away from his son.

WHY?

Why won't she let him meet his son?

"...."

Iseul sighed at his profound face but she could only bite back her lips as she looked at him with a helpless face.

"I know I have no rights but still I hope that you will live a good life ahead. Okay?"

Yoongi could only nod.
