It had been about 2 weeks and I felt no closer. I had spoken with several cops none had any information of use, except one had mentioned that I should speak with one of the supervising officers. He had said that they would likely know the whereabouts of undercover cops. Now I needed a way to get some of their time. Hmmmm.... and I think I had a way in.

Back when we were both working for the CPD we managed to make a few friends among the others. One of them would know where the supervisors hung out. I approched a bot and tapped on the shoulder carefully with my talons. "Hey Indie," I greet with a broad smile across my muzzle, he turned and matched it. "Jaws! By the primes pred how long's it been?" He said hugging me, I laughed a little. That's right he was a hugger, irony was his name was Incendiary, as in granade, last bot I knew who tried to hug a granade didn't walk away. He released me, "So why'd ya come seeking me out?" He asked, "I'm looking for Bee, I heard he signed back on with the CPD," I said. "Any idea what faction?" He asked, "Undercover cop," I responded, "Yeah no clue sorry," he answered. "Well that's not my only lead, I heard that a supervising officer would know were to find him. Know the location of any of them?" I asked. Indie thought a moment then smirked, "It just so happens I do, but just promise you won't kill him," he said, "No need to worry there, I just want answers not energon on my paws," I responded. He nodded, "Ok so I know of one that hangs out around here after his shift, and he has this stupid habit of going out here alone."

I stalked in the shadows of the building, just as Indie had said a bot was walking off in this direction. He was alone, I moved out of my hidding spot behind him. Then without warning I knocked him forward and placed one of my paws on his back to keep him from fighting back. "Imma keep this short supervisor, where did you dispatch the undercover cop Bumblebee?" I asked keeping my voice low. "Why do you need to know?" He asked, "I'm a very concerned friend," I curved my claws so he could feel them, "Now, where. Is. He?" I said in a no nonsense tone. "We dispatched him to Rissrok almost a year ago and lost contact 3 months ago," he answered sensing my patience was relatively short. My spark dropped into my stomach. Loosing contact with an undercover cop was generally a death sentence, it usually meant one of two things. One: that they had been found out, and that usually meant death. Or two: they had gone rogue for fear of being found out, and in the process they were usually caught. I wasted no more time on the supervisor and headed off, I had a date with the scum of the earth.

Welcome to the city of Rissrok, an absolute slag hole. But it was here that I had isolated a particular con and I knew he had somethings I wanted to know. However he was pretty close mouthed, that of course meant this wouldn't go well for him. "Yeah I know where the bot you're looken for is, the scrap yard!" He antagonized. Up to this point I had been pretty gentle by standards but now with that wisecrack I was done playing good cop. I shut my optics a second then opened them, they flared to what felt like a different shade. I brought my claws onto his chest plating before I lifted him up and slammed him into a wall. "Liar liar you'll soon be on FIRE!" I snarled flame building in my mouth, "Now tell me, WHERE IS HE!?" I thundered the spikes on my back standing. He visibly trembled, "ok, please! There's a base 40 klicks north  from here, I heard they had a prisoner there," finally! An answer. I dropped him and bolted north, I had to move quick, there was no telling what I would find but I had hope.

----

The room was dark with the occasional splatter of electric blue color across it. There was next to no sound except for the sporadic voices that traveled across the base. The cons were insufferable at this hour, they next to never went into recharge at night and that meant neither could anyone else who was in earshot. He had long run out of energy to pull at his restraints and had since learned it was futile. At this point there were no options, and no hope, the cons here were not careless and he was far to weak in his current state to fight even one of them, much less the entire population of the base.

----

I locked my optics on the base, my pulse was racing and I could feel the drive to charge in and lay waste to the entire building. However I had to be smart about this, I had to infiltrate, which would be pretty hard for a giant metal lizard. I would have to stick to the rafters and stay out of sight.

I slipped in through a broken window, the entire building looked abandon and run down but I saw, and heard, straight through that cover. I was silent as I continually reminded myself, it's just like hunting, it's just like hunting I could do this. I sniffed around the rooms that were currently unoccupied, there was nothing that familiar in the scent trail, just the usual mix. I moved from the room to a hall that wasn't well lit, not that it affected me, but I could defiantly use it to my advantage. I heard movement and lept up into the rafters silently looking down to see who had interrupted. A duo walked down the hallway, "Boss wants to move the prisoner, the rioters have been more tenacious lately," one of them said. "The rioters are real?" The other asked, "yeah, or at least the boss says so," this resolved the conversation and upon their mention of "the prisoner" I had reason to follow them. They moved casually through the halls as I followed moving on beams overhead. They stopped outside a room and swung the door open before both entering.

----

The door screeched open and he looked up one of his optics flickering a bit. Two cons entered the room, "Well bot the boss wants you moved," One of them said, "To the scrap yard," another added smirking. He shut his optics again, it would all end here. There was a bang, almost like a gun shot, and he opened his optics. In the door there was a figure with brown optics, standing like an avenging angel. "What?" He breathed, the creature whirled slamming its tail into both of the cons, it sent them flying into the wall knocking them out.

----

I froze for a moment, studying the cons for movement, before rushing to help him, "Jaws? How...? Am I dead?" Bee asked, "Nope, you are just very very lucky," I said before I bit through the restraints.
