(Flare POV)

I walked towards Mt. Hakobe, I had arrived in the Zonia region of the mountains. I knew that I had to be careful because I took this route to shake anyone who was trying to follow. It is very difficult to walk this path even if you are a mage, because of the thing that lives here, it is a-

"RWWAARRRRR" my thoughts were interrupted by a monstrous roar and my vision was soon covered in black.

(Levy POV)

"Dragon breath."

"Ice Pervert."

"Flamebrain."

"Ice Princess."

"Dragon Boy."

"Snowflake Breath."

"I think that they are running out of ideas for insults," I told Lucy as she watches Natsu and Gray glaring at each other and insulting each other.

"As much as I hate to say it, but when it comes to things like battling and running a pack, he is one of the best but when it comes to things like human relationships and things that require more advance thinking, Natsu can have some trouble," Lucy told me and then she let out a sigh, "Don't get me wrong, he has his own special brand of smarts, he just chooses not to use them, most of the time."

"Hahaha, so where is Gajeel, I haven't seen them in a while," I asked Lucy, I was worried that something had happened to him, he hadn't come to the guild in a while.

"He is doing something for me, why did you ask?" Lucy asked me, then suddenly Mira was beside me, "What do you think, Mira?"

"I think that little Levy here is worried about Gajeel," Mira told her, the two of them had this glint in their eyes, it made both my skin crawl and my cheeks turn red.

"Of course, I am, he is a nice guy...uhh I mean ...dragon," I told them, the two of them started laughing at me as my face turned the color of Erza's hair.

"We're just messing with you," Lucy told me, and I let out a breath that I had been holding.

'Why do I get the feeling that they are lying?' I thought as the two of them walked away.

(Lucy POV)

The two idiots that were Gray and Natsu were still insulting each other after Mira and I had finished teasing Levy, and I felt it was time to stop them.

"Natsu, stop insulting the stripper and come over here," I told my mate and he immediately stopped and walked over to me, looking way too happy that I called the ice mage a stripper.

"Gray, put on some clothes," Erza told the ice mage and said mage looked down and finally realized why I called him a stripper.

"I am going to go to the clearing to summon my spirits, will you join me," I asked the fire dragon and he smiled that boyish smile of his before he answered me.

"Sure," and we went to the exit the guild, after telling the others that we were leaving, Sting waved good bye and Rouge was nowhere in sight. Wendy wasn't at the guild, she was with her aunt, and Laxus was at the bar talking to his grandfather.

"Don't cause any trouble," I told them and I grabbed onto Natsu's shoulders as he flew into the sky. We flew around for a bit until we landed in a clearing that had a pond, it was the perfect place to summon Aquarius. When we landed, I walked over to the pond and took out two golden keys.

"Open Gate of the Water Bearer, Scorpion," I chanted, "Aquarius, Scorpio." When I finished chanting, the two spirits appeared before me. When I first saw Aquarius, it was in a dark cell, the second time was at night, but this time in the sunlight I got a good look at the changes that were done to her. Aquarius still had the urn that she carried around, but it was attached to her back instead of in her hands. Now she was holding a trident instead. 

It looked like something that a warrior would use, it had markings of waves and storms on the staff and the sign of Aquarius on the part where the pole stopped and the spikes began. When I looked at her body, she had a dorsal fin on her back and she was wearing armor, but it wasn't made out of stellanium, but something that was from the celestial realm, I could tell by the runes on it. It had carvings of mermaids and waves on it, if you looked closely, you would see that other than that it looked like some that was old and important somehow.

I looked over to Scorpio, who I saw had a second gun added to his tail, the tail was now stellanium as well. I could only guess what the second gun was for, he also had some stellanium clawed gauntlets on his hands, overall Scorpio hadn't changed, except that he was wearing the same type of celestial armor that Aquarius was. It had scorpions and sand on it, instead of mermaids and waves.

"Where did you get that armor?" I asked them.

"We thought it would be best to start wearing something that would remind us of the strength that we have, and we put on the armor," Scorpio told me, I looked down in shame.

"I am sorry that I couldn't protect you," I told them, I felt a hand on my head and I looked up and was surprised to see that the hand belonged to Aquarius.

"Don't worry about it, brat," Aquarius told me, "You are alright that is all that matters to us," she told me as she had this far off look in her eyes.

(Aquarius POV)

'We are never going to let them hurt her, not again' I thought as I petted the brat's hair. I thought back to when we were in prison by those bastards.

Flashback

I opened my eyes to see that I was in a glass capsule, it was filled with this golden liquid. I looked around and saw that there were tubes that were coming out of my body. I tried to pull them out, but they wouldn't budge, I thrashed around still trying to free myself but it didn't work.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you," I heard a man say I looked in the direction of the voice and saw a man that was smiling at me, he was holding something, the lights were turned on and I saw that the rest of the brat's spirits were here too.

'The brat isn't strong enough to keep this many gates open,' I thought as the others stirred and they saw me. I looked at Leo and I saw his eyes widened when he looked at the man, and the lion spirit suddenly started banging on the glass of the container. I looked over at the others and they were doing same, I turn back to the man and saw what he was holding. It was the brat, she was beaten and covered in cuts and blood.

"YOU BASTARD! HOW DARE YOU DO THAT TO HER!" I yelled at the man, banging on the glass, he didn't hear me, but I am sure that he understood me.

"I promise you, that as long as you all behave nothing will happen to her, or the dragons," the man told us. I was shocked, he had the brat's mate and his pack. "Those containers are the only thing keeping you from returning to the spirit world and keeping you alive, so if you break those then you will either die or return to the spirit world where you can't protect your precious master." I glared at him with a special glare that is reserved for a select few. "I should probably introduce myself, I am Ivan Dreyar, and I hope you behave yourselves."

Flashback end

I thought back to one incident that happened in that lab.

Flashback

They had injected us with something, and had taken blood from all of us. I looked at the twins and saw that they have changed after so many of these humans' experiments. They looked human, separated from each other. They had some of us do tests, they were trying to see what we could do after we had changed. They took all of our weapons and objects, Taurus's ax, my urn, Virgo's chains, Lyra's lyre, Sagittarius's bow and arrows, and Cancer's scissors. They couldn't keep them human world though, the moment they left the tubes they disappeared, probably going to the celestial world.

I saw how they changed us, Leo had a tail, and his ears became much more noticeable, Scorpio could suddenly use poisons from his tail. They had dismantled his tail, after they injected him, it had a revolver like loader inside it, it was connected with the second gun, when they made him do the test, they learned that the tail changed shape when he used the second gun, and the revolver loader appeared when he used it. 

We watched everything they did to us, but we didn't do anything against them. We guessed that, because the building was still standing, that the dragons didn't know that once every week they would drag Lucy here, unconscious every time. They experimented on her, not as much that it would change her. They didn't inject her, but they examined her mind and body, to see if there was something to explain why she could 'control' her mate, and we watched every time. They covered the evidence well; the dragons didn't know.

Flashback end

'And they probably never will if we can help it,' I finished the thought, I was sitting in the pond while the brat sleeps on her dragon's scales, I smiled at the scene it had been a while since I have seen that. We will get our revenge against those men, not for what they did for us, but what they did to the brat, she has done so much for the others and for me, even if I am cruel to her, I do love her, she is Layla's daughter. I thought back to the deal that we made when we were finally free.

Flashback

"You have returned my friends, tell me what has happened to you, you look different," the Celestial King asked us. We explained to him what happened to us, he nodded his head.

"What are you going to do now?" The King asked us, we looked at each other and nodded.

"It is time to open the armory," Leo told him.

"We must make them pay for what they did to our master," Virgo continued.

"They did their experiments on her to remind us of the power that they had over us," Gemi told him.

"But it only strengthens our resolve to protect her," Mini finished.

"The last straw was their last experiment, the one where they injected our blood and that metal into her," Capricorn told him.

"It changed her and allowed the girl to absorb the power of the stars to strength herself, but there is more to it that needs to be discovered," Crux told him.

" I felt the change in the celestial world when it happened, I felt something long lost be brought back into existence," the king told us.

" Milady had been harmed in her sleep," Sagittarius told the king.

"And examined like she wasn't even huuooommman," Taurus added.

"Caww caww (They need to pay)" Pyxis crowed.

"Puu Puu (They need to be punished)" Plue added, growling in his puppy form.

"They changed us, but they made us stronger and that will be their undoing," Aries yelled, with a new burst of confidence.

"Yes, it is time to get ready to fight," Horologium told them.

"I agree with this, let us show them that they should have never harmed our master," Cancer shouted.

"I see that you want to fight but you must have patience, we know nothing about these men," the king told us, "But I do agree that something like this must never happen again, open the armory, it is time for us to fight back." Throughout the celestial world, bells were rung, but this time they had a new malice to them, even the celestial mages heard the deathly rings.

"Gather the Zodiac, they must armor themselves," the king demanded.

Flashback end

I looked back at my trident, it was the weapon that I used in the old days, The Situla of Neptune, I didn't think that I would ever need it again. I then looked at my armor, it too was from the old days, it was the armor I wore in battle to protect my master. I looked back over to Scorpio, he had yet to retrieve his weapons from the armory, a pair of pistols that shot sand and poison, The Bracchium, he also had a small sack that could summon large groups of scorpions. I knew that he was just waiting for Taurus and Leo to grab theirs, Taurus was using the ax that was made by the men, after his old one was sent back spirit world, the men made an ax for him to use, so he is going to get his weapon and armor for the armor after Leo. I hope that when the time comes all of us will be ready to fight, like we did in the battle of the dragons in the times of war.

(Yukino Flashback)

I was coming back from a mission with my sister, Libra was beside me and Pisces were swimming in the air overhead when we heard the bells. Libra and Pisces disappeared and my sister and I heard the voice that shook our cores.

"Gather Zodiacs, Gather Spirits, the time has come to open the gates of the armory, the missing 10 have returned, and the time of vengeance has come," it said, and the ringing bells continued to ring. We tried to summon our spirits all day, but they didn't come, it wasn't until the next day did the spirits answer our calls. All they told us was that an unforgivable crime had been committed to the Zodiacs and their master and they called for vengeance.

Flashback end

(Yukino POV)

I think I know what the crime was when I think back to that day with Lucy and her changed spirits. When I called Libra, she wasn't wearing the clothes that she used to, she was wearing golden armor and she had two swords at her sides. I asked her about them and she told me that they were weapons that were locked away for a long time, she called them Ordo and Verum. She told me that they were to protect my sister and I, and nothing more.
