Chapter 11
(Lucy POV)
"There it is, Mt. Hakobe, that is where Igneel is," I shouted, Natsu flew faster towards the mountain and landed in the snow. A few blizzardverns that were on the mountain flew out of the way.
"Tell Igneel Dragneel that Natsu and his pack have returned, freed from our captors," Natsu told the servant dragon species, one of the blizzardverns flew off, to deliver the message.
(Igneel POV)
'Three years,' I thought, 'It has been three years, since my son and his pack have gone missing,' I sat in my cave looking out my window, a small speck appeared in my view, it was getting larger and larger, until a blizzardvern was in full view. I moved out of the way and the snow wyvern landed at my doorstep - cavestep?
"What do you want, Blizzard?" I asked the wyvern.
"I have a message from an arriving dragon pack," Blizzard told me.
"What is the message?" I asked the wyvern.
"Natsu and his pack have returned, freed from our captor," he told me, my full attention was now on the wyvern.
"Describe the dragons that gave you that message," I told the wyvern.
"The one who gave me the message was a fire dragon who had a blonde female human on his back, he was with two fake dragons, a poison and a lightning, there was an iron dragon and a sky dragon hatchling, a young shadow dragon and a young white dragon as well," Blizzard told me.
"Were there any black markings on the lightning dragon?" I asked Blizzard, I can't get my hopes up they could be impostors.
"The lightning dragon had black crescents on his shoulder and on his left side there was what looked like a guild mark, Fairy Tail, I think," he told me, and I shot up.
"Tell Grandeeney, Metalicana, Weisslogia, and Skiadrum to meet me at the place where this dragon pack is, tell them that Natsu's pack has returned," I told the blizzardvern and took off in the direction the blizzardvern came from.
(Lucy POV)
Natsu had increased the temperature of his scales to warm my freezing skin, I couldn't wear any of the warm clothes I usually wear because they all smelled like Happy's rotten fish. I heard a roar in the distance and I looked in the direction the roar came from and more roars followed. The loud sound of flapping wings filled the air as Igneel and the other dragons' parents landed in the snow.
"Dad," Natsu roared and after making sure I was warm enough, he ran towards his father. The two of them gave each other the closest thing to a hug that a dragon could give.
"Mom," Wendy squealed and ran to her mother, whose white feathers were almost blending in with the snow, and ran into her mother's embrace, Wendy, who was still small for her age, had her mother wings covering the blue dragon completely.
"Dad," Sting bellowed, tackling his father, while Rouge silently gave his father a hug, he didn't shout his father's name like his cousin.
"Hey brat, did you miss me?" Metalicana asked Gajeel as the dragon in question had yet to say anything since he had arrived.
"Not a chance, you bastard," Gajeel told the dragon before giving the dragon a hug, tears coming out of both dragons' eyes.
"Stop crying, brat, you are going to rust," the older iron dragon told the younger.
"Some goes to you, you old bastard," Gajeel spat back. Laxus and Cobra just watch as the scene unfolds, not having anyone to give them a long-awaited greeting. Cobra's family being died and Laxus's being in Magnolia, they don't have any families. Well, that was until Cobra met Kinana, and tomorrow we are going to go to Fairy Tail, fixing both of their problems.
Time Skip
"Ow, stop that," Gajeel yelled at me as I tried to set one of his metal plates back in place so Natsu could weld it back with the other plates.
"Well, that is what you get for roughhousing with Metalicana, I warned you about that rock but did you listen to me, no, you both slammed into that rock, and this happened," I told the dragon as I pried another metal plate that was wedged between another plate.
"I didn't hear yo- OWWW!" Gajeel tried to explain to me as I 'accidentally' pulled the metal plate out too fast.
"Sorry," I told him sweetly, not really meaning it.
"Be happy that you don't have to deal with Grandeeney right now, Gajeel," Natsu told the dragon in comfort, and on cue, a loud yelp of pain sounded from the other side of the hill. I looked at Gajeel's wings and saw that the metal blades that were his wings were bent and twisted.
"How did this happen?" I asked the dragon, pointing at the wings.
"Uhhhh, I don't know," the metal dragon told me, I didn't believe him, but I didn't ask any further questions as it would save me the headache later.
"Well, you can't fly with your wings like this, sorry but you are going to need to walk to our new den," I told Gajeel.
"What, no I can fly, see I'll show you," Gajeel told me trying to fly but the twisted blades didn't give him any lift.
"You are walking, end of story," I told him, leaving no room for argument. I headed to the entrance of Igneel's cave, Natsu following close behind me. When I reached a hollowed-out room in the cave, I entered and saw my books and some old clothes on the floor, I reached down and picked up the fallen books and placed them on a shelf nearby. I remember my time here; this was the room I shared with Natsu. I looked up and I saw the skylight that Natsu made for me. I had told him one night that I loved sleeping under the stars like I did when we still lived in the forest, but since it was too cold to do that even with Natsu's warm body to keep me warm, Natsu decided that why not make a skylight. While I was out with the other dragons, Natsu was making a skylight in the room, I don't know how he did it without making nearby humans suspicious or how he hid it from the outside, but he made it so that I could see the stars even with snow covering the roof of the cave. It was our favorite place to sleep when we were here. I would read a book while leaning against Natsu's scales, slowly being lulled to sleep with the gentle warmth that radiated from him, and when I fell asleep, he would wrap his wings and tail around me and cuddle with me. It was adorable to watch, at least that was what Igneel and Grandeeney said whenever they found us like that, and took pictures on a lacrima. I blushed at that thought, I turned to look under the skylight, knowing that it will be night soon. I looked at Natsu and smiled at him.
"What do you say, for old time's sake?" I asked the dragon and he gave me that childish dragon grin of his and walked to the middle of the skylight.
"I would love to," he told me, still smiling. I went over to a chest in the room, and pulled out a tank top and a pair of shorts. I put on the pair of shorts then I removed the rags that I was wearing before, yes in front of Natsu, we are mated, it is not a new sight, and put the tank top on and walked to lay in the arms - legs? - of my dragon husband, sleep welcoming me soon after my head hits his scales.
(Natsu POV)
I looked at my mate as she slept in my arms, I remember the thing that I saw on her back when she was changing her shirts. Her back and a small part of her shoulders were covered in those golden swirls with a key hanging off of each one, and in the center of her back, along the top of her spine, there was a 189th key. It was the largest of all of them and was more detailed than the rest. It sat on top of a large golden gate that covered the rest of her back, the gate reminded me of one of the fancy fences gates that were on her father's estate, and apart from the rest of the golden marks, laid the one thing that whatever those humans did to her couldn't take away.
In the middle of the gate in a circle that sat at the center of her spine there was a mass of tiny red scales that were shaped like a flame, the thing that marked her as mine, my mating mark. After she fell asleep against me, my eyes started to grow heavy, and I soon joined her in the realm of dreams.
(3rd POV)
After Natsu fell asleep, the sun had finally set and the stars were shining their light out of the skylight. One of the blades of starlight hit the golden marks on Lucy's back and the markings started to glow lightly, absorbing the starlight that was entering from the skylight. As the dragon and woman sleep peacefully, the light of the stars flowed into the cavern and into the marks.

How was that, please tell me, I think I did great so can you tell me what you think, please?
Me: That was very poetic Natsu.
Natsu: Thank you
Me: Why can't you always be like that?
Natsu: Hey!
