(Erza POV)

"RWWWAAR!!!" I heard from inside the house. I re-equiped a sword into my hand and slowly opened the door. The others followed me from behind. We searched the bottom floor of the house for the source of the sound, but we came up empty, until we came to an iron door. The door was ajar but it looked like something had bitten into it. I pushed the door open and we walked down the stairs inside.

(Unknown POV)

"RWAARRR!!!!" my cellmate bellowed at the newcomers.

"Shhhhh," I whispered to him, rubbing his claw in comfort, "We don't know who it is."

I heard the door open, and footsteps sounded from above, then their voices.

(Levy POV)

"I really don't like it in here, this place gives me the creeps," I told Juvia, looking at the suspicious dark stains that were on the wall, that were becoming harder and harder to see as the hallway darkened.

"Juvia agrees, but Juvia will stay for her darling, Gray," Juvia declared with hearts in her eyes.

 When we reached the bottom of the stairs, there was almost no light in the room. I could barely make out the room, but from what I could see was that we stopped in front of a group of cells and a cage. There were three cells on the left, two on the right, a huge cell in the front, and a small cage in the center. The small cage looked like it was pulled open, and one of the cells looked like the bars were eaten. 

When we entered the room, I heard chains moving from the cells. I looked around for the source of the sound, and I was positive that something in one of those cells moved. Then I heard the chains moving again, but this time it was from the cell in the back of the room. We all looked at the cell, and I saw something golden inside the cell. When we got closer to the cell, I saw that there was a woman standing in the front of the cell. Her long hair had reached all the way to the floor, it was filthy and tangled. She wore chains on her arms and legs, her eyes were the color of rich chocolate, but they looked dull to me. The woman was looking at us, she looked at us with suspicion and then she turned and walked over to the back of the cell, the rattling of her chains following behind her. When she reached the middle of the cage, she reached out her hand and touched something in the darkness. My eyes finally adjusted to the darkness of the room to see something moving in the back of the cell.

"Solid Script: Light," I chanted and the cell lit up and we saw what she had touched.

A Huge Red Dragon.

(Gray POV)

"What the hell!" I shouted when I saw the dragon. It started to move and reached for the girl in the cell. I got ready to cast a spell, when the woman moves in front of the dragon to block my attack. I stopped casting my spell, so that I wouldn't hit her, allowing the dragon to grab her with its claws pulling her closer to it. The woman's eyes had turned to a green glow, and the dragon started to purr as she started to pet it on its neck. The light filled the cell and the dragon had become easier to see, we saw that it was chained up like the girl and wore a muzzle around its mouth.

CRASH!!! We turned to see a pair of pink and red eyes. In a huge burst of wind, almost knocking us off our feet, I turned back to see a small blue and pink feather dragon with pink eyes standing defensively in front of the woman, snarling at us, trying to look as menacing as possible. GRROWRRRR!!!!  We turned to the louder growl and we saw a huge metal dragon with red eyes.

Reacting to the threat of the larger dragon, we readied ourselves to defend against the metallic dragon. "Ice-make Lance," I chanted and threw the lances at the metallic beast.

"Levy!" I heard Jet and Droy shout from behind me. I turned to look at the Solid Script Mage and saw that Levy's eyes were glowing red and she was approaching the metal dragon.

'Is she insane!' I shouted in my head.

(Levy POV)

We all stared at the small dragon that was standing in front of the golden hair woman, but something didn't feel right to me.

"What are you humans doing here, haven't you done enough, LEAVE!" I heard a man's voice shout, I turned to see another huge dragon, this one looked like he was made of metal. As I looked at the dragon, I started to feel strange, like something was drawing me to him. I watched as Gray attacked the dragon, but I didn't think that he was all that dangerous. I started to walk to him. I heard someone call me but I didn't know who it was. I walked in front of the dragon and held my hands out to it. The dragon's red eyes started to glow and he moved his large head into my arms, and he started to stop growling. I felt his cold scales on my arms, his bristly mane in my face, and his steady breathing against my legs.

"-vy, Levy, LEVY!" I heard someone scream and I turned to see the others looking at me strangely. I looked down to see that the metal dragon's head was in my lap and I was sitting down. What just happened?

(Erza POV)

Immediately after Levy went in front of the dragon, it started to calm down. Its red eyes started to glow like Levy's were, it placed its head in the small woman's arms and then Levy sat down and placed its head on her lap.

"Levy, Levy, LEVY!" I screamed and she jumped like she had just heard me for the first time. She turned to look at us, and I saw that her eyes had stopped glowing. Chains started to rattle around us, and growls and other noises could be heard around us. We looked around to see more dragons emerge from the darkness of their cells. 

The ones in the cells on the left were a white dragon with a white mane of hair that went down its spine, and angel-like wings, it had antlers and blue eyes. The cell beside it was a shadowy dragon with a black mane, black, leathery wings, and red eyes. In the cells to the right was a huge yellow dragon with a small blonde mane, leathery wings, and blue eyes. To the right of the cell was a maroon snake-like dragon with purple eyes and leather wings.

"Another one," we heard someone say, we spun around to see that it was the woman who spoke. She was now holding the small feathery dragon from before. The small dragon had turned completely blue and was staring at Levy with curiosity, with her now brown eyes. 

"Another one?" I question.

"The men from before called us dragon tamers," she told us.

"Us?" I asked her, she tilted her head to the side, narrowing her eyes at me in distrust.

"I am one as well," she told me, answering my question.

"What does that mean?" Gray asked her.

"Is she okay?" Jet and Droy asked her, in unison.

"There is nothing wrong with her as you can see, she is perfectly fine," she told us, glaring at Jet and Droy for their question, petting the small dragon in her arms like it was a pet. "It isn't my place to tell you what it means, figure it out yourselves." she continued, answering Gray's earlier question, then she looked up at the metal dragon. 

"Gajeel, did you bring food?" She asked, the reptile got up from Levy's lap and nodded its head and went up the stairs and dragged something down the stairs.

"I thought dragons were huge, how is he able to go up those stairs," Levy asked the woman.

"They taught themselves a way to get up and down the stairs," the woman told her. The metal dragon, now named Gajeel threw an animal carcass down and went back up the stairs. He went up and down till there were eleven dead animals and he went back up and brought back what looked like a bunch of poisonous snakes.

"Those are poisonous, you can't eat those," Levy told her, recognizing one of the snakes that fell out of the dragon's jaws.

"We know, but the one that is eating them is a poison dragon so it won't affect him, in fact it will make him healthier," the blonde woman explained to us as Gajeel threw the snakes and a deer into the cell of the snake dragon, who then started to eat them.

"Wendy, go get our food, and some for yourself," the girl told the small dragon who went through the bars and grabbed two rabbits, went back to the cell, repeated the process but grabbed a deer and struggled dragged it back to the cell.

"Couldn't she make herself grow bigger, to make carrying that easier," I asked the woman, assuming from what she told Levy that these dragons know some sort of size changing magic, as I saw the small dragon go back to the pile for another deer.

"No, she is too young to learn to do that yet," she told me. The small dragon, Wendy, started to eat a rabbit, while the larger dragon started to cut the two deer into pieces to start to eat them.

"Can you cook this for me, Natsu," the blonde asked the large dragon holding up a rabbit, the dragon moved its head over the rabbit and puffed out a small fire and cooked the rabbit and when back to cutting the deer.

"Why don't you remove the muzzle, won't that allow him to eat better," Levy asked the woman, as the metal dragon gave food to the other dragons. The woman gave us a grim look and pointed at her chains. 

"I would if I could, but it is enchanted so I can't unlock it," she told us and then pointed at the muzzle, where we saw some enchantments start to glow on the muzzle. "Same with the bars of this cell," she said pointing at the bars and enchantments glowed on the bars as well, "They tried to keep Gajeel from eating them and the others are enchanted to keep the others from leaving even if the bars are gone."

"How did Gajeel and Wendy escape?" I asked her.

"Can we wait to answer that after we finish eating?" She asked us politely.

"Alright," I told her.

6/14/19- For those who read this book before I just have revised some of the story, I will try to write a new chapter as soon as I can. Just be patient with me.

2/26/2020- for readers of this story I am doing a grammar check of the story so I can reread the story after being away for it for so long, I hope to release a new chapter soon.
