Chapter 3
*Allary*
Allary chased Travis down the hallway, screaming threats at him. A moment later, the lights went out, and she lost sight of him, and then she slammed into something and fell down. The lights came back on, and she saw that she'd ran into Travis. She got to her feet, cursing, and punched his arm.
"Ow! What the fuck?!" Travis yelled, rubbing his arm and looking down at the pissed off redhead.
"You grabbed my ass and moaned in my ear. Don't you 'what the fuck' me, you asshat! You're lucky I didn't knock you unconscious with my flashlight." She spat, glaring at him.
"How could I not? You have a hella great ass! But all that aside, there was a man standing there."
Allary peered around him, following where he was pointing. There were bars three feet in front of him, and past them was darkness. She sauntered up to the bars, trying to look closer. A man suddenly slammed against the bars, bleeding heavily from a large cut across his forehead. Allary cried out in fear and leapt backwards, crashing into Travis again.
"RUN!!! IT'S COMING!!!" The man yelled, thrusting one blood-covered hand between the bars at Allary.
Travis pulled the shell shocked girl away from the bars as something dragged the man back into the darkness. He screamed, and then a sickening crunch cut it off. Blood splattered across the pair on the other side of the bars. A metallic squeaking and creaking rang out, and then something smashed into the bars. It was tall, even taller than Travis, and made of metal. It had glowing red eyes, sharp shiny teeth, pointed ears, claws, and blood covering its face, snout and chest. Allary and Travis screamed as it repeatedly slammed itself against the bars. They didn't give, but rattled dangerously. The thing suddenly dashed right, and a moment later, a door to their right began to rattle. The hinges began to bend. Allary was aware of Travis grabbing her wrist and leading her back down the hall.
"Come on. We have to warn the others." He insisted.
They ran back down the hall, and got back to the lobby. Everyone looked panicked as well.
"We have to get out of here. There's a-" Allary began.
"Woah, is that blood? What happened to you guys? We heard screaming!" Michael interrupted.
"There was a wolf robot...it...it fucking ate someone...Michael, we have to get out of here, now!"
"Wolf robot? Like the one that killed my uncle?" Evan interjected.
"That one exactly. It's on its way right now, and if we don't leave, it'll kill us, too!" Travis explained.
"The door's locked. We're stuck here." Michael said dejectedly.
"Fuck, are you serious?" Allary cried, beginning to shake.
"It's locked from the outside."
"Shit, shit, shit...we have to hide!" Madison screeched.
"Try that door over there."
Allary noticed a door to the left of the desk for the first time. She ran over to it and tried the handle. It opened into a room full of lockers. Everyone got into a locker. Allary froze up, terror taking over her body. She heard everyone else getting into a locker, and then there was silence. Then, in the distance, she heard a faint metallic screeching. It got louder and louder, and closer and closer. And then the wolf came into view, all cold, shiny, metal, and sharp edges. All six teenagers stayed completely silent as it clomped by. It went somewhere off to the left, and then walked by again. They waited until its footsteps faded before leaving the lockers.
"Oh my GOD!!! WE HAVE TO GET OUT OF HERE!!!" Madison hollered, and Travis clapped a hand over her mouth.
"Madi, it'll hear you. Keep your voice down." He ordered.
He slowly removed his hand from her mouth, and she composed herself.
"We need a plan. I suggest we split up and search for a way out separately." Madison announced.
"Oh, yeah, because that shit goes well in every horror movie, game, and story in ding dong damn history." Evan said sarcastically.
"There are two other doorways here. That one looks like it goes to the bathrooms. I'll see if there's anything of use in there." Allary declared.
"What's gonna be in the fucking bathroom, genius?" Madison sneered.
"I don't know, but I'm sure there'll be something more useful than you."
"You fucking bitch!"
Madison stepped towards Allary, one hand raised as if to hit her, and then Michael leapt in front of Allary.
"Fighting won't do us any good. Travis, go with her." He instructed.
'I'm not going anywhere with that asshole. Fuck that.' Allary thought bitterly, turning on her heel and stalking into the bathrooms.
She heard Travis behind her, but did not wait for him. She turned on her flashlight and shone it on the floor. The light glinted off something shiny on the ground in the farthest stall. She ran into the stall. There was a key card on the ground. She picked it up.
"Ha! I was right! There is something more useful than Madison in here!" She cried triumphantly.
Travis shoved her against the wall hard enough to make her back hurt.
"Do not fucking talk about my girlfriend like that ever again, or I fucking swear I'll make you fucking regret it." He growled.
"G-get the f-fuck off of m-m-me." Allary stuttered, trying to shove him away.
Her attempts didn't do anything, but he let her up anyway. He left the bathrooms, and she followed, but a good distance behind him. It looked like the wolf wasn't the only monster she had to worry about.
