16 days until the dance and here I was in my long sleeve 'rainbows are more gay than you' sweater.

"Honey, he's right there." Dallon whispered in my ear. I took a sharp inhale and closed my eyes hugging my books closer to my chest.

"I know." I whispered to Dallon before turning around and dropping my books into my locker. I leaned down to pick up my gym shorts when Brendon and Pete passed us.

"Ry Ry!" Dallon padded my back quickly his eyes not leaving Brendon's back.

"What?" I hissed as I stood up.

"He looked at you." Dallon said clenching his jaw. I blushed and hiccuped.

"Really? But I was bent over. Do you think he likes me?!" I asked my voice getting higher as I was excited.

"Not sure." Dallon shrugged. I closed my locker and kissed Dallons cheek.

"Bye Dal, I'll see you later." Dallon waved a little sarcastically. I walked down the hall my black backpack with rhinestones on it shining in the light from the windows.

I was looking at the ground as I walked, thats when someone grabbed my arm. I took a sharp inhale before looking up.

Brendon Urie was smiling at me.

His hand was also on my wrist.

"Hey Ryan." Brendon said smiling, he released my wrist. I cringed when I heard my name.

"Hi Brendon." I said hiccuping.

"So are you and Dallon going to the dance together?" Brendon asked a blush spread across his cheeks. As I saw him blush I blushed too. I awkwardly giggled and put a strand of my curly hair behind my ear.

"Uh, no. Well he's my best friend but yeah. We're both hoping to get dates to the dance. But that's probably not gonna happen. But I'm not expecting it to happen. So I guess-" Brendon laughed and put his hand on my shoulder.

"Well, I hope you get a date to the dance." I had a moment right here. And was I gonna take it. I was,

"Who are you going to the dance with?" I blurted our before hiccuping again.

"I've got my eye on this boy."
