Dallon came out of the bathroom eventually.

He had fresh eyeliner on and had a smile on his face.

"Hey Dal, Sorry for being such a-"

"Look Ry look!" Dallon shoved his phone in my face. I pushed his hand back a little so I could actually see what he was showing me.

It was a instagram post with a photo of Brendon Urie. The flash was on and it looked like they were on a roof top. His side was to the camera. He was in a white hoodie with the hood pulled up and he had his phone in one of his hands. I couldn't see his face but he was doing the sign that means 'I love you' in sign language but also means something like 'gang gang'.

"Slide to the next photo." Dallon said a big grin on his face.

I did as Dallon said and put my finger on his phone and slide to the next photo. My eyes lit up as I saw him with a pride flag face painted on his cheek.

He was smiling this time and I could see the gap between his teeth. The retainer stretching across his teeth reflected the light from the flash on his phone.

I scrolled down a little to see the caption read:

brendon.urieee: gay and proud🏳️‍🌈💕🌈

"He's gay Ryan!" Dallon said before covering his mouth and leaning down kissing my cheek. "Sorry Ry, didn't mean to call you Ryan."

Ok so I didn't hate being called Ryan. But I thought Ry fit me more. I wanted to get my name changed to Ry when I was younger and my mom said I should just use it as a nickname and see if I really wanted to stick with it.

'Rye' is how most people spell 'Ry'. But I've always written it as 'Ry'.

"He is gay." I said kinda out of disbelief. His best friend was Pete Wentz and both of them were pretty much the definition of straight.

But I guess not.

Umm idk today I had to go see my family who's sexist, racist, homophobic, and transphobic
But there's only two of them there and I didn't say a single word to either I avoided eye contact too lol
Oh also my cousin got married today and I was really happy about that I didn't get to go to his wedding but my father did
We also got a foster dog and he needed a new name and I named him 'Ollie' bc I thought it fit bc I was joking saying we should name him after a capital and I was going through capitals and then both my mother and I at the same time go "OLLIE" so I guess it was meant to be 🤷‍♀️
He's so tiny he's only three pounds and ahh
Also idk if I said this yesterday but I felt like everything was wrong and I was breaking down and didn't know what to do I ended up going downstairs to my parents room and grabbing the sleeping pad from the basement and putting it over the message table thingy in their room and I slept in there
