✴ MATT'S POV ✴

My night was great until that girl started sucking my face like a dementor. Yes, of course I have watched and read Harry Potter.

I immediately pushed her away.
"What the hell do you think you're doing?!" I ask her.

"I thought that's what you wanted." she says.

"What the hell made you assume that?!" I ask again furiously.

"I- I don't know..."

"Get out of my sight." Was that harsh? Good, because I am furious and Aileen is nowhere to be seen. And yeah, of course I saw her staring.

Where do girls go when they are mad? Right, the bathroom.

I went to the girls' bathroom and knocked the door.

"Parker? Aileen are you in there?"

"No you goddamn idiot! This is Eliza!" Eliza yelled from the bathroom.

"Dammit... Do you know where Parker is?"

"I don't know if you have bloody noticed, but I am in the freaking bathroom!" she yelled again.

"Right..." I mutter an wait for her to come out.

"What did you do?" she asks when she comes out.

"I didn't do anything! Why would you assume I did something? Did you forget this thing called friendship?"

"Why would you look for Leens in the bathroom?" Leens? Eliza you're crazy.

"Lucy Blake kissed me." I blurt out before I can stop myself. Eliza facepalms and then slaps me.

"Hey!" I clutch my cheek.

"Why would you freaking look for Leens in the freaking bathroom when she freaking lives here?"

"Dammit!" I mutter and run upstairs.

I knock on Aileen's door.

"You in there?" I ask.

"Well, duh!"

"Can I come in?"

"Whatever." she says and I go in. "What do you want?" she asks. She is wearing her pajamas and is sitting on her bed cross-legged. I sit next to her.

"I didn't see you downstairs and--"

"I was bored so I am going to sleep."

"Are you okay?"

"Of course I'm okay, why wouldn't I be?" she smiles, but it is obvious she is lying. Her eyes aren't shining as usual.

"What's wrong?"

"Nothing's wrong. Why--"

"Stop lying and tell me what it is."

"It's nothing, I'm fine." she says aggressively.

"Whatever, come and talk to me when you aren't lying." I tell her and get out. I see a tear on her face before I shut the door behind me. I lay my back on the wall by her door and slide down.

Aileen Parker is going to be the end of me.

I could faintly hear her sob if I tried to and it was my fault.

Forget what I said about Aileen being the end of me. Eliza and Sylvia will be when they find out.

Aroudmnd half an hour later I heard the door creak and looked up from my feet. Aileen's red eye glanced at me from the door opening, right before the door shut again. This time I heard her lock it too.

I realized that if I wanted her to talk to me, I would have to sneak in her room from the balcony.

I run downstairs to find Chase. At the beginning of each party we lock our doors to avoid thievery and people snooping around our rooms.

The twins have the room next to Aileen's, so I need their key to jump to her balcony from theirs.

"Chase, I need your help." I tell him once I find him at the dance floor with Eliza. She must have told him everything, because he laughs.

"What is it?"

"I want your room key."

"What?!"

"Aileen locked the door."

"Fine, but I am coming along." Where did trust go?

We went upstairs, Eliza following us. chase opened the door and walked over to the balcony, but once I stepped outside he locked me out.

"Dude! What the hell?" I mouth.

"Fix it and don't you dare sleep on my balcony." He mouthed and I hit my head on the glass. I will kill him.

I jumped over the railing onto Aileen's balcony and tried to open the door, but it was locked so I knocked on the glass.

She pulled the curtain and yelped.

"What the hell are you doing?" She mouths.

"Chase locked me out. Can I come in?"

"No."

"Come on! It's freezing out here!"

"That's not my fault, is it?"

"Just open the door, dammit!"

"Nope." She says and closes the curtain. I knock again, but she doesn't come. Great! I'm going to freeze to death on Aileen Parker's balcony! Jealous?

I knocked again and again, but she didn't come. I don't know how long I was there, until I heard the other balcony door open.

"Chase? Is that you?" I whisper shout.

"Yes. You're still out there?" Chase replies.

"She won't let me in!"

"I knew it." He says and comes out. He throws me a blanket and leaves again. "Don't sleep on my balcony!"

"Don't you dare." I say, but he locks me out. "Dammit Chase, open the door!" I shout.

"Nope." He shouts from his room.

Great. My friends make me sleep on the balcony. Maybe I need new ones...

After some long hours, I fell asleep in the balcony.

I heard the balcony door open and Aileen yelping, then shutting the door again. I rubbed my eyes and got up as she opened the door again slowly.

"What the hell are you doing?" She whispered.

"I told you. Chase locked me out and wouldn't let me sleep on his balcony. What happened to friendship?" I grumble.

"He actually did it? I thought you were lying to get in."

"Of course you did!"

"Wait. Where did you get the blanket?"

"Chase threw it at me last night, but shut the door before I could get in. Speaking of inside, can I come because I have been out here all night?"

"Whatever." She said and let me in. "I'm going downstairs to eat." She says and leaves the room.

"I don't think we have anything to eat." I tell her.

"Get out of my room!" She shouts from downstairs." Right.

When the the others woke up and we had breakfast I told them the bad news.

"We need to go climbing. We haven't gone in a month. The Mayor has probably forgotten his threats."

"I'm not coming." Aileen said.

"What? Why not?"

"I'm not feeling well." She said avoiding eye contact with everyone and went upstairs.

"That was weird." Eliza says.

"Oh, really?" Sylvia asks sarcasticaly.

"Shut up." Eliza replies.

"So are we going?" I ask.

"Dude, Parker just ran upstairs and you are still asking about the climbing?" Chase asks.

"Why am I  supposed to go after her?"

"You are hopeless." Eliza sighs exasperatedly.

"Tell me about it." I mutter.

"Just go!" Jace says. I shake my head and go upstairs.

I knock on her door.

"Parker, are you okay?"

"Yes, dummy! Leave me alone."

"Can I come in?"

"I don't care." She says and I go in.

"What's wrong, and don't you dare say 'nothing'." I ask her and she groans. "Tell me so I can help."

"You can't help someone with nightmares."

"Again?" I ask and she nods. "Come here." I say and hug her.

"Can we not go at the cliffs? At least not today."

"Come on Parker, it's just dreams."

"They feel real."

"But we haven't gone in a long time."

"Fine, will you stop whining now?"

"Yep. Get dressed." I say and leave the room.

I told the others we were all going and we all got ready. We wouldn't try and sneak past the fence in broad daylight, we would return at night.

I just had to get Parker to come.

Now, you may ask, why not one of the others. Simple, the others are in relationships, you think they would leave each other alone to keep watch? Ever since we found out about them, they are always together.

We arrived at the cliffs at noon and started climbing.

Around twenty minutes later we arrived at the top.

"Dammit we're out of shape..." Eliza panted clutching her knees.

"Oh, really, Lizzie?" Aileen told her.

"Yeah, Leens." They must have a secret competition.

"Shut up, both of you." Sylvia said.

"Whatever." Aileen replied.

"That's why we don't take girls climbing." Jace said.

"Shut up Dayson!" all three of them said at the same time.

"Especially if they are on their periods." He added and Sylvia glared at him, then slapped his shoulder.

"Guys we need to be qu--" I didn't get to finish my sentence, we heard sirens. "Great!" I said and we started climbing back down.

We landed down and turned around to run, but instead we saw cops surrounding us. With guns.

"What do we do?" Aileen whispered.

"Run?" I reply.

"They have guns, dummy!" She whispers back.

"You two! Stop talking!" On of the cops says.

"We are unarmed. Run!" I say and we all run.

"Were to?" Eliza asks.

"Away from here!" I shout.

We arrived at the park.

"We need to hide, we can't run until we reach the House!" Sylvia pants.

"At Mrs Jackie's, come on!" Eliza tells us and we run inside.

Mrs Jackie looks at us shocked.

"Can we hide here?" Aileen pants.

"Sure, kids. The dressing rooms and the bathroom." She replied and pointed at the back of the store. Eliza and Chase went in the bathroom and locked, while Sylvia grabbed Jace into one of the dressing rooms, so I had to share with Parker.

"Hello gentlemen, how can I help you?" We hear Mrs Jackie tell them.

"We are looking for six troublemakers, three girls and three boys ma'am. Have you seen them?" One of the cops asks.

"I'm afraid not, sir. No one has come to my shop all day." She says.

"Do you mind of we look around?"

"Oh, I don't mind at all. Do you want any help?"

"No ma'am." The cop said again and walked towards the bathroom. He tried to open the door, but Eliza had locked.

"Oh, that door's been jammed for a long time... I always forget to get someone to fix it." Mrs Jackie tells him.

He then walked towards the dressing rooms. Parker and I had our backs on the wall and were holding our breaths. She had her eyes shut and was trying to look calm, but she was shaking.

"Hey, Phil! There's a robbery at the bank!" One of the cops says.

"Dammit... Well, Mrs Jackie, thank you for your time. Have a nice day." Phil the cop said and they all left.

Aileen let out a deep breath and opened her eyes.

"Thank God..." She muttered.

"Come on." I tell her and we step out.

Eliza and Chase are already out, along with Sylvia and Jace.

"Now, kids what did you do to make them so mad?" Mrs Jackie asked.

"We went at the cliffs." Eliza says.

"You never learn, do you?" Mrs Jackie says shaking her head. "Go back home, they might come back." She says and thank her, then leave.

"That was close..." Jace says once we get in the House.

"You think?" Aileen asks and we all crash at the couches.

"We need alibis, you know, in case they come looking for us." Sylvia suggests.

"Okay, I will go to the pizza restaurant with Eliza." Chase says.

"I will go to the park with Sylvia." Jace says when she glares at him.

"I don't think I can go out again." Aileen says.

"Okay, I will stay too and we will say we were here." I say and she nods. The others get up and leave.

"We should change. I will do some studying." Aileen says.

"Okay, I will go have a shower." I reply and she goes upstairs to her room.

I was at the kitchen, rummaging at the cupboards for something to eat, when she came downstairs to get some water.

"When will you do the math homework? It's way too much." She says.

"I don't know. I might not do it at all." I say and she shakes her head.

"I'm going to go finish it. See you later." She says and goes upstairs.

And then someone broke the front door.
