Nona had been knocking on Purvis's door for several minutes, when he opened.

Nona smiled.

Burny had just parked the Tacoma in front of his house when Nona got off and proceeded to his neighbor's house. I've got a perfect payback plan for Boyarsky, Nona had told him.

He saw Nona talking to Purvis. Purvis did the unexpected, smiled and let her in.

A long wait.

Burny was already at the porch, waiting for Nona, when she came out of Purvis's house thirty minutes later.

"What did you do there?" Burny said.

"I offered him free body massage."

"So he can relax."

Nona nodded, smiled, self-satisfied. Her hypnotic conversation with Purvis in his room was on endless re-run on her mind.
