When the ginger finally made it to the living world he began heading to the Tokyo district looking for any abandoned Inari Okami shrine that matched Fukuchi's description until he arrived at the correct shrine.

" All right, I think this is the place now. I just need to look for that Yōkai Mr Fukuchi didn't give me a time so I'll just wait here until the sun goes down. That's when Yōkai tend to appear at least." So the ginger waited until the sun went down but soon realized the amount of spirits lingering around the abandoned shrine.
" Jesus there's a whole hell of a lot of spirits here as if this place were a giant magnet, luckily they don't recognize me while I'm in human form or else they'd be swarming me like a moth to a flame." The ginger quoted not realizing that there was a spirit creeping behind him, the spirit then attacked with aggression towards the gender."Ah crap! I guess I'm too powerful for my own good."
The ginger said trying to fight off the spirit, but it was too powerful for him to handle in human form, just then a big ball of light came at the spirit driving it away.
" Well that was a close one boy if I weren't here, you'd be dead by now." A mysterious voice said creeping out from the darkness of the abandoned shrine.
" Who are you? Show yourself!" The ginger called out to the mysterious voice. " You're one to be making requests after I just saved your life, what an ungrateful human you are." The voice said getting closer to the ginger finally revealing himself to be the very same being the ginger came looking for. The powerful fox Yōkai.

" It's you." The ginger couldn't help but say out loud, "huh? What do you mean by that? Were you by any chance looking for me?" The Yōkai asked with curiosity. " Yes I was in fact, I am here to banish you from this land." The ginger exclaimed. "Wow fold your horses there buddy. You can't just say you're going to kill me without challenging me first." The Yōkai schemed wanting to see if the ginger would take the bait.
" What are you getting at? Are you asking to challenge me, in what exactly?" The ginger questioned The Yōkai wanting to know what he was implying. " Well you see I've been bored for quite some time now and these spirits are just not enough company. Ya-know."
" Wait a minute. You're the one calling all these spirits here? That's why there's so many because you're lonely!?" The ginger raised his voice demanding answers from the Yōkai.
" Wow You're so mean doesn't even let a guy finish his sentence for spouting his dumb opinions." The Yōkai said intending to tick off the ginger.
" Anyway, I want to challenge you, if you win you can exercise me. But on the other hand if I when you get to stay and entertain me for all eternity sound fair?" The Yōkai said trying to get a reaction of the ginger once more.
" Why the hell when I agree to something as twisted as that when I can just kill you right here and now?" The ginger questioned asking himself, how powerful is this Yōkai anyway to make such bets with his life?
" Oh come on now! Are you really so afraid to challenge me, is that how weak you are that you don't want to challenge a simple Yōkai like me? wow maybe you should have picked a different job then." The Yōkai teased intending to get the ginger fired up and agree to his challenge.
" Oh believe me I'm much stronger than you you Multi-Tailed bastard!, fine. Bring it on asshole! The ginger yelled giving the Yōkai exactly what he wanted in the process.
The two began to challenge each other, with the ginger at a much greater disadvantage than the Yōkai as he was still in human form and not at his full strength. In the end, the Yōkai ended up winning as he expected.
"Huh?! H-How how the hell did you beat me You multi-tailed bastard!?" The enraged ginger questioned the Yōkai.
"Wait No that means." The ginger stopped and thought out loud. " Yes" The Yōkai said with a stern voice.
" Now, you get to stay with me for all eternity. you know I've always wanted a pet now I finally got one." The okay said teasingly "N-No! This can't happen. How did a damn Yōkai Defeat me a damn god!? This is impossible!" The ginger screamed out not realizing the words he had said. The Yōkai who now heard everything understood the ginger's situation.
" Wait a minute. I thought I recognized something about you, You're the god Arahabaki aren't you?" The Yōkai said with a devilish smirk.
The ginger now in shock of what the Yōkai just said stepped back in fear. The Yōkai then used his fox fire to push the ginger towards him then grabbed his waist. " Well now this is going to be fun will it? my little pet."
