Taehyung opened the passenger door for Koo and help him to sit on his seat. They are going back to their home after a long day. He slides into the driver's seat, buckling the seat belt across his chest as Koo settles in his seat with a soft sigh. After turning on the engine Taehyung speaks," It's good that we dropped bunnies and tannie to Mom's apartment till Oreo's delivery or we will not be able to take care of them fully."

Taehyung said and turned his eyes to see jungkook looking outside of the window. So He tries again," Am I Right, babybun?"

"Hmm" Koo hummed as the reply still not averting his gaze from the window.

Taehyung glanced at him again finding his wife's behaviour slightly off. Ever since he came back from the parking lot to his office, He felt a weird silence between them, jungkook was doing his work silently in his office, replying taehyung here and there with one word when he asked something from him.

But taehyung didn't think much about it as jungkook's final exams are near maybe he was focusing on his studies. But right now anyone can notice the elephant in the room.

The drive to their home is thick with tension that taehyung is sure the air inside the car is suffocating them both. He sees how Jungkook's hands are crossed against his torso, how his glossy lips are pressed in a thin line. He is thinking of something intensely. Taehyung knows his baby's little mannerisms. But he doesn't know exactly what he is thinking.

"Shouldn't a driver focus on the road while driving?" Jungkook asked, now looking straight to the road.

Taehyung chuckles awkwardly and said a small 'Yeah' before focusing on the road.

The younger keeps quit as taehyung parks the car in the parking lot of their building. Even the elevator ride to their apartment is filled with a heavy silence.

Taehyung feeds the password and with a clicking sound, the door is opened. They entered their home. Taehyung put his briefcase on the couch and said," I am going to take a warm shower. Do you wanna jo-?" He gulped his words when he saw jungkook already went towards the kitchen without considering his words.

The elder tongues the inside of his cheek, lips soon turning into a pout as he walked to their room. Jungkook never behaves like this maybe he is tired.

Taehyung takes his time under the shower as warm water is healing his stiff muscles, it feels nice. He turns off the shower and dries himself with the towel, his arms muscles are flexing with his hand movements.

He decides to put on a pair of white pyjamas with a muddy brown sweater over it and his eyes were hurting from looking at the laptop all day so he put his usual glasses too and left the room.

As he stepped down the stairs, it hits him, the heavenly aroma of dishes coming from the kitchen. The small grumble in his stomach pulls him towards the kitchen automatically. He gets surprised for what he saw.

He noticed how all four gas stoves are occupied with different pans and pots. The food is still in the process but his mouth watered as soon as the fragrance of food filled in his nostrils.

"Woaaah, it looks like a treat to me, you are amazing baby. I can't wait to eat all of it. I'm so hungry." Taehyung said as he sits beside the counter not noticing the worried glance of jungkook.

Jungkook just nodded his head.

Taehyung admires as jungkook chopped the veges and stirred the soup. He toyed with vegetables on the other pan preparing bibimbap. He is so perfect for me. I am so lucky to have him. But why he is not talking to me. Should I ask? No! He is making dinner right now. Maybe after dinner, I'll ask him if I did something wrong. Taehyung thought still looking at jungkook's every hand movements.

A sizzling sound filled in the kitchen as the aroma of food becomes overwhelming for taehyung. He gulped his saliva down as he eyes the dishes.

Jungkook noticed it all, he observed the fixed eyes of his husband towards him which are distracting him from his job. He opened the lid of a pot and checked the stir-fried glass noodles in it. He is going to make japchae also. It will take some more time. He put the lid again and covered it fully.

He bends down to take out a packet of dogs food and turned to taehyung," Can you bring this to Mom. We forget to drop this earlier. It's time for tannie's dinner."

Taehyung comes out of his thoughts and stands up from his seat instantly," oh? Yeah, of course." He took the food packet and looked at the dishes with his puppy eyes one last time and then at his babybun who get indulge in his work again. He licks his lips and said," I'll be right back, babybun. Wait for me" and placed a kiss on Koo's left ear.

"Hmm, thank you" jungkook speaks in his small voice and checked the food again. Taehyung went to the door but now he is sure of one thing, something is very wrong, his baby never talked to him with this kind of formality and he always responds and gives back the small kisses but today he didn't.

Taehyung reached the second floor and knocked on the door. Mina opened the door after a minute as she was feeding the bunnies. "Oh taehyungie, I am about to call you. You guys forget to give me tannie's food earlier. Can you bring it now?"

"It's here, Mom," taehyung said showing the packet in front of her face. Mina smiled and opened the door fully," Come in and help me then. I am feeding the bunnies here. You feed tannie, he is in my room, watching a dog movie."

"Gladly" Taehyung entered and strikes towards the kitchen to take a bowl for tannie and fill it with his food.

He went to her room and can't help but chuckles at his puppy. Tannie was watching a movie on Mina's laptop with her glasses placed on his nose.

"You adorable puppy, I bring your food" Taehyung declares and tannie barks at him immediately. Taehyung sits on the bed and tannie jumped on his lap, licking him all over, like an excited puppy. Taehyung played with him some more before start feeding him.

Taehyung's stomach again makes some weird noise to which tannie respond with a delighted bark. Taehyung eyes the food in the bowl and sniffs it but as soon as he lifts his hand to taste it, tannie barked again but this time with a cute growl.

Taehyung laughed and shake his head," Yah! I was not eating your food. I was just teasing you." Tannie continued to eat his food like he doesn't believe his owner at all.

He finished the food and cuddled taehyung some more. Taehyung kissed his hairs and bring him in the living room so that he can sleep beside the bunnies.

Mrs Jeon is washing the dishes in the kitchen. Taehyung leaves tannie beside the bunnies who were cuddling on the couch.

He caresses their furs until they purred under his touch, enjoying the light massage of taehyung's large hands.

"Taehyungie, I need to talk to you." Mrs jeon said as she comes toward the couch.

"Yes, Mom. What is it?"

"Namjoon assured me yesterday about the case but I am still scared for Koo. Did he know about this too?"

"No, Mom. I didn't say anything to him about it." Taehyung said.

"Actually, I want to tell him. But I think he is not ready for it yet. I can't see him going through one more panic attack because of it.  I will protect him, Mom. You have to trust me on this. I will not let anyone do anything to him."

"Did he got p-panic attack yesterday?" Mina asked his voice comes out shakily.

Taehyung nodded his head and told her everything that happened yesterday. Mina wipes off her tears and holds taehyung's hand," Please take care of him. You are right,  he is not ready to know about the efforts of that man, the efforts he was doing from the start of your marriage to take way him from us. But we will apologise and tell him everything as things go easy. "

"Of course, Mom. Don't worry about it. Take a good rest okay?" Taehyung said. He hugged Mrs Jeon as 'good night' before going back to his apartment.

He sees jungkook waiting for him, leaning against the dining table, lost in his own thoughts. His clothes were changed that means he already took a shower.

He can see a pout adorning his lips as he walks to him because jungkook didn't notice his presence.

"I am back, babybun." Jungkook flinched in his position as his husband's face pop up in front of him.

"Is something wrong?" Taehyung asked as he pulled jungkook closer by his waist. But jungkook shook his head as a response.

"I know there is, baby. Please tell me what happened." He said, his voice comes out in genuine concern.

He feels so sad because he didn't see his baby's happy bunny smile for hours. He misses it so much.

But jungkook pulled away from him and drags one chair of dining table outside."Sit down and eat first. I made your favourites today," jungkook said looking at taehyung and gave a small smile.

Taehyung smiled and nodded his head, don't want to pressure him more, he washed his hands and discard his sweater and glasses cause he is a messy eater.

Jungkook served almost everything on his plate and sits beside him. Taehyung laughed seeing so much food in his plate and tried to light up some mood," I know I'm hungry but that doesn't mean I will eat like a horse."

But jungkook didn't listen to him and start feeding his husband. Taehyung moaned in his throat when he took the first bite and tastes the food.

"Mmhmm God!! It's so tasty baby. It's heavenly amazing. You should eat it too." Taehyung said feeding Jungkook too.

"It's good. Eat more" jungkook said.

They start eating dinner. Most of the time, taehyung was praising his baby for his amazing cooking skills. He tastes every dishes on the table. Jungkook was looking at his husband who was eating the food that he made, so blissfully.

At one time he forgets eating and just stares at taehyung, his husband. The way he is eating hungrily gives his heart slight relief but he is sad too.. why did he need to starve himself like that when he can eat whatever he wants and whenever he wants. Work is not important than your health. He lied to me too and here I thought he will never lie to me no matter what. Look at his innocent face, who can chew his food this animatedly with a pout, gnawing on his meal like a hungry tiger.

No!Koo!!No! You are mad at him, don't fall for his charms. Jungkook thought and sit straight up on his seat.

After learning taehyung's unhealthy habits from yoongi hyung, jungkook felt conflicted with himself. He wanted to know why taehyung never said about his troubles to him, he never shared his problems, always tries to make him happy, but jungkook didn't want it, he doesn't want fake happiness.

That's not how marriage works, you should share all your ups and downs with your partner. They can be heart-shattering or heartwarming it doesn't matter as long as you are with him.

Taehyung finished his food with a content sigh soon following with a low burp. He smiled sheepishly at jungkook, "Sorry" and wiped his messy mouth and hands with tissue papers.

"Do you think I am weak?" Jungkook finally asked.

Taehyung stopped his actions and looked at his baby," No baby, I have never thought something like that."

"Do you think I will not take it well if you share your problems with me? Because I am messed up." Jungkook asked again but this time hurt is evident in his eyes.

Taehyung turns his chair and face jungkook, holding his face in his palms immediately," Stop thinking like that, babybun. You are perfect for me, I have never treated you any lower than me."

"Then why did you lie to me? Why did you hide such an important thing from me?" Jungkook said, accusing his husband of his fault with his soft voice.

Taehyung's palm rest on jungkook's face as his blood runs cold. What kind of lie he is talking about? Did Y-yoongi hyung told him ab-. His face turns pale as he is looking in jungkook's eyes. He swallowed thickly before saying," No baby, I didn't lie about anything to you, I promise."

"I can't believe you are still lying to me and doing a fake promise on my face," Jungkook said and pulls taehyung's hand away from his face.

He stands up from the chair," I always asked you, did you eat your lunch or not, do you need lunchbox or not, but you always said no need because you eat in the cafeteria turns out you didn't even visit your company's cafeteria in your lifetime. I didn't know my own husband was suffering from Pernicious anemia for a whole year." Jungkook look up to hold his tears back and said again,

"I can't believe you didn't even tell granny and grandpa about this. If I wouldn't pressurize Yoongi hyung today, maybe no one will ever know. Maybe I am looking like a fool worrying about you but I can't help it, I love you. Your health is important to me the most. And I was not joking or lying when I said I care about you. But I guess that's not the same for you." He said and turned away from the dining hall going to his room. His heart is hurting badly as he approached the stairs, finally allowing himself to cry it out as tears fall from his eyes.

Taehyung was still sitting on his chair with an open mouth. He didn't expect this reason behind jungkook's worry but one side of his brain felt relief that this is not what he thought. But it's surely taehyung's fault, he knows he is not caring about his health from the start of his company. And after a year or so, he felt the consequences too. He should tell this thing to jungkook on the first day they met but he didn't. It's all his fault and on top of that he just lied on jungkook's face, he knew he fucked up very badly.
