"gimme, gimme more, gimme, gimme more," yoshi sang into his mic as he strummed his guitar.

"sugar rush-ush, sugar rush-ush," haechan and hyunjn joined, one on the keys and another on drums. "sugar rush-ush, sugar rush-ush, ah."

juniper was surprised when soobin told her that he and a few students from his history class wrote the song together. as the trio continued singing, june couldn't stop herself from wrapping her arms around soobin's and shaking his shoulders as she jumped up and down.

there wasn't much of a crowd, but it was enough for thursday's child to keep hyh at their bar. though, it was fun watching hyunjin smirk at his boyfriend as the girls on either side of felix freaked out, thinking the rocker was looking at them.

intermission came, and yoshi jumped from the stage into the arms of his best friends. "alright! i'm bored. let's eat something!"

so, the three sat at the bar top with burgers and fries. "dude, sugar rush? is that what you called it? it's so good, oh my god." june exclaimed as she finished chewing her food, eyes flicking between the boys on either side of her.

"sugar rush ride," soobin quietly corrected, "but yeah. i-i think it's pretty good. yoshi and the guys did it justice."

"that we did!" yoshi said with a laugh before taking a bite of a fry.

there was a loud sigh as someone dropped into the seat beside yoshi, and the trio smiled when they saw lia. "not to spring this on you, but we're all meeting in rina's after hyh finish performing. she's got a big stash of something bad and needs it gone tonight. down?"

soobin choked on his drink, face flushing red at the thought of "something bad". june gave him a pat on the back. "you good?"

"down. i'm d-down." he stuttered through coughs.

biting back her smile, juniper turned to get an answer from yoshi before replying to lia. when he caught her gaze, he gave a small shrug and nodded.

she faced lia with a grin. "we're down."
