A/N: Sometimes all you need is a good cry and let all your emotions out. Trust me, you're gonna need a tissue for this one. Unless you have no hearts or my writing is that bad. 

Alex couldn't grasped the fact that he is in the car with his parents right now instead of standing in front of a judge and being married to Henry. Shan is in the front seat heading towards the hospital where he worked. He never forgets the time where they had Henry there over and over and just few weeks ago when he received the call from Sophia that Henry is there he didn't know exactly what he was feeling at the moment. But right now, him in between his parents with the same look they had over their face had made him thought of just opened the car door and jumped right out. He needed to get to Henry fast, faster than anyone else and he won't be able to stop himself if he didn't.

By the time they arrived, his long legs had made an advantage over him and headed straight to the emergency room leaving his parents behind. They must have look ridiculous right now considering Alex in his wedding tux and his fathers as his best man. His mother in that emerald dress Henry had picked himself made their way through the crowd and finally his eyes caught with the receptionist. "Henry Fox? Anyone registered him yet? They picked him up from St Regis Hotel." Alex says and his voice is monotone although God knows deep inside he is practically screaming and begging for Henry to be alright.

"Still in Resus 2, and Alex, it's not good." She says and Alex refused to believe her knowing he knows Henry more than anyone else in this world. Alex didn't react nor he did say anything but he can see his parents are reacting towards what she said and his mother already cupping her mouth with her palm. "I have to see him." Alex mutters and Shan followed by his side and they bumped into Nora and Sophia coming right towards them. "Found him? Any news?" Sophia asks and Alex almost broke in tears right there and then. "I-I need you Soph, I need you inside with Henry. He's in Resus 2. Please." Alex pushed her by her shoulder and she didn't say anything else but immediately ran towards the room followed by Alex and the rest of their family.

Sophia immediately grabbed the gown from the drawer and put it on top of her lime green dress and they all looked at her weirdly seeing her in such gown and heels attending to a patient. "He's my patient. Tell me, what happened?" She orders and Alex stood by the door with Shan by his side seeing Henry lying down on the bed with the monitors all hooked on him and he can see his heart rate appears on the screen with his heart monitors beeping softly and yet steadily. "He's alive." Alex convinced himself seeing Henry is still hasn't awake and they all are doing their best at saving his fiancé's life.

They had to pull Alex out considering he is family and Sophia nods at him to wait while she stayed with him. Alex saw the door closed right before his face and Shan by his side still had his hand in Alex's grip. He can feel the tightness of Alex gripped over his wrist and Shan tapped it softly, "Alex, he's a fighter, I know he is. I need you to stay strong for him." Shan says and only then Alex turned to look at his face and he nods softly.

"Alex, mijo. Listen, he is in hospital and whatever happens, he is in good hands." His father says from his side as he turned to face them all. His eyes caught the flowers on his father's lapel, it was the combination of calla lily and daisy as Henry suggested. He did say his family is there on his wedding day, it was right here by their hearts and it caught Alex's heart and he broke into tears.

"Oh God, Henry." Alex was pulled by his neck towards his father's embrace and he sobs further gripping on Oscar's tux as he tried his best to held it together. His mother came by his side stroking his arm in assurance and Nora did the same on the other side and he pulls them together in one big family hug. It was all he needed at the moment to give him strength to fight for Henry, for their future.

It took Sophia an hour to finally come out and face Alex on the floor right before the room and he immediately looked up to meet her eyes. She can see him had cried out in tears considering his red eyes, his swollen eyelid and his curly hair is a mess. She kneeled down on the floor grabbing Alex hand in hers. "Alex." She called his name and he shook his head at her, "Tell me he's okay. Please." He begs and Sophia lowered her gaze at their hands.

"I'm so sorry." She starts and Alex lips trembled before he cried further, "What happened?" He asks and Sophia returned her gaze back at him, "We think he might had a seizure while he's asleep. Alex he is not in pain, he is not suffering. He went to sleep and he didn't wake up." Sophia says and Alex sobs further grasping his shirt in his hand. "No, no no no no please. Please. Tell me he will wake up. Please. Tell me he will. Soph tell me he will wake up."

Sophia can feel Alex gripped her hand tighter as he begs and she looked up to meet Nora's eyes. "Let's see him." She pulls him up from the floor and Alex wobbled feeling the weakness over his legs and they support his tall figure before he took another steps.

Alex took a step into Henry's room with Sophia by his side followed by his parents and Nora. Neither of them said anything but he knew they would be right there when he needed it. As he took a step closer, his feet matches the beats of Henry's heart and he can see the wires coming out of him from his chest and most importantly the one strapped on his head.

Alex almost tripped by the edge of Henry's bed when he finally sat on the chair and held Henry's hand. "You bastard!" Alex starts and they all watched as he gripped Henry's hand tight in his, "I need you to wake up damn it! You promised me! You promised me you won't be late! You promised me remember? Henry please. Wake up baby please." Alex cupped his cheek kissing him on his cheek with his tears running down on his face and Henry's face is calm and almost as if he is still asleep. There is nothing in this world that he can do to make him wake up. No money, no medicine, not anything. He was completely and utterly helpless right now.

"What is that machine do?" Ellen asks and Sophia turned her gaze at her. "That is a machine to detect any brainwave activity. For the next 24 hours, we will see if Henry had any brain activity or not." She explained and Alex listened to every words. "What if he doesn't?" Oscar asks and Sophia exhaled before she continued, "Then, it means- Henry is- brain dead." They gasped at the thought of Henry is no longer viable and Shan immediately went out to make a phone call. Nora can see how he wiped his tears away before he pulled his stern face and make that call.

"NO! Henry is not brain dead, he is just asleep. He will wake up. I will wait for him. Doesn't matter how long it will take. I will wait for him." Alex says and stood up to face his family. "Alex, you know there is nothing we can do once a patient is brain dead." Nora tried to talk to him but Alex smacked the table next to him sending the items scattering all over the floor. They all startled by the gesture and almost retracts back at his action.

"I SAID HE WILL WAKE UP! He is not brain dead! He is still inside and I will wait, no matter how long it will take. I WILL WAIT FOR HIM! Don't you fucking dare tell me he is brain dead!" Alex defends and Ellen stepped closer to her son. Alex is fuming with rage by now and Ellen can see that. She can almost see it was her years ago when they had told her that June is dead and she refused to believe them. She did the same thing Alex did and reacted the same way Alex did.

She cupped Alex's cheek in her hand and nodded at him. "We will wait for Henry to wake up. Have faith in him. He will find his way back to us." Ellen says and Oscar cuts her, "Ellie, no!" He stopped her from giving false hope towards Alex and she shot her look at him sharply, "Have faith in him." She repeats and Oscar had his face crooked in defeat. Alex nods at his mother before he turned to sit back on the chair and held Henry's hand in his.

Hours later they had finished with all the test they wanted for Henry. His imaging scans, his blood tests all came back normal and there is nothing would explained how or why he had that seizure in his sleep. They'd never expect him too and he was on medication so he shouldn't had it. Alex was sitting beside Henry in his room when Shan walked in with someone next to him. Alex and the rest of them looked up to see the guy in a suit carrying a briefcase in his hand before Shan introduced him.

"Everyone, this is Daniel Frost, Henry's current attorney here in New York and he has something to tell you." Shan says and the guy placed his briefcase on the table pulling out a piece of paper before he read them. "It was one of the will from Mr Fox office signed by him just three days ago. It stated that you, Mr Alex Claremont-Diaz, holds the right and responsibilities of me, Mr Henry Fox and in life and death situation, you shall be henceforth the final decision maker. If so shall fit, you, Alex will be the reason for my life and my death and forevermore my eternal love." He quoted and Alex smiled after he heard him.

"Wait, what does it mean?" Nora asks, "It means that Henry knows how much I will fight for him. He knows I won't give up on him and he knows I will always choose what's best for him." Alex eyes sets at Henry on the bed still unconscious and he leaned closed to his ear, "I love you so much you bastard. Now I need you to wake up so I can show you how much I love you." Alex whispered and hoped for once, just a flutter of his eyes or ticked of his finger but nothing. He sighed in defeat leaning his back towards the chair with their hand tangled in each other.

"Alex?" Ellen called after Nora, Shan and Sophia had left leaving him alone in the room still staring at Henry waiting for him to make any sign of movement but he didn't. He didn't even bother to respond to his mother calling him and she knows he heard her. "Alex, let's go home and rest. We'll come back tomorrow darling, I promised." Ellen told him and Alex clicked his tongue at her. "You go ahead, I'm staying right here." He protests and Oscar sighed shaking his head. "God, you are your mother's son." He whispered and went to face Alex beside Henry.

"Alex, it's time to go. Henry won't go anywhere. They will call him and informed us if any changes in Henry's condition." Alex didn't move or even make any sign to listen to his parents. Oscar shakes his head again knowing how stubborn Alex can get and pulls Ellen towards the door leaving him alone with Henry for the night.

Alex fell asleep by Henry side and when he heard the sound of the machine beeping made him jumped and he turned his head to look around the room only to find it the same way it was hours ago and Henry remained like he was earlier.

He sighed before he stood and leaned to kiss Henry on his forehead and headed out of the room. He needed to take a walk and fresh air will do him good. So he went out from the hospital finding the cold crisp air blowing on his face and he inhaled feeling it invaded his lungs and cool him down. He hailed a cab and decides to went back to the hotel to get Henry's stuff. Shan had gave him Henry's card key and he told the driver where he headed.

It was midnight and there isn't much traffic so Alex arrived in like ten minutes. He headed straight into Henry's suite and when he opened the door of the room, he can see the clutters in his room due to the earlier event. He can feel the sudden sting of pain over his chest thinking that Henry slept here all alone yesterday and the last thing he ever did was being here all by himself.

Alex sat by the edge of the bed pulling Henry's pillow and hugged it close to his chest, inhaling Henry scent deeply in his nostril. He can feel the tears are coming down again but he held it strongly inside, swallowing his sadness away. His eyes caught the wrapped package by the side of the table and he immediately went to grab it.

He unopened the package and revealed a piece of letter with a small box in them. He took the box in his hand and shook it hearing it rattles then later he opened them. Inside the small box there's a single set of key and Alex had confused look over his face. He flipped the paper opened and revealed an agreement signed with Henry's signature on them. A small piece of note with Henry's handwriting written in cursive pinned together with the agreement and Alex held it in between his finger.

"Dear husband, we made it. Welcome to your new home."

Alex held the key in his hand before he gripped it closer to his chest and smiled in tears. "Bastard." He cursed under his breath before he found another small box inside the package and on top of it, he can see the handwriting belongs to his mother with their name on it.

"Dear Alex and Henry, this is gift from all of us. Hope you had a long and happy married life together. Just know that we love you both so much, all of us do." 

Alex pulled out the box cover and saw an old pink iPod that he knows exactly whom it belong. It was June's iPod and he thought he had lost it years ago, turns out his mother had kept it all along.

The iPod is fully charge when Alex pressed the ON button and his fingers still remembers it well how to operate it. Inside it was cleared although June's playlist isn't exactly his favorite but there is one playlist that had his and Henry's name that caught his eyes and he immediately pressed play. It took a while before he can hear the rustling and someone's breathing over the speaker and Alex waited.

"Hey kiddo!" June's voice heard over the speaker and he swore he almost fell on the floor when he heard her sweet voice after all these years. His heart breaks at the sound of her cheerfulness and her happiness before the drugs took everything from her.

"I know this is ridiculous but I just wanted to do this so I could embarrassed you on your wedding day. I know it's a looong way to go and who knows maybe you don't ever get married then you won't be able to hear this at all. But I want to let you know something and I want you to listen very carefully." Alex sat by the bed again holding on to the iPod in his hand as the earphone curls from his ear.

"Life is going to be hard as fuck! I know I might be messed up sometimes and I know you keep telling mami and papi about how they always giving me a free pass in doing everything but actually they don't. Every action that you do has consequences kiddo, including lying to your parents. I know, I learned it the hard way. But life can also be beautiful. It has lots of mystery and surprises coming in your future. You will fall in love, you will have heartbreak and I can't wait to see what you've achieved in your future." Alex felt how much he misses his sister by just hearing her voices and his tears won't stop flowing down on his face like waterfalls.

"I love you Alex, you are the best brother anyone could ever wished for and although you get on my nerves all the time, I still choose you as my brother in any lifetime. I won't trade you or our family for anything. I can't wait to see you finally found someone and sets your heart into knowing that every single day you woke up, he or she is the one person you're looking for. That feeling right there is so powerful that nothing in this world could ever break it. It was love Alex. It was love that is so unbreakable and you wonder how on earth would you feel this way about someone. Well, one day you might and I want you to keep hold on to it and never let go. I love you little brother, peace out from your darling big sissy, Juniper- out."

Alex let his tears falls more on his face as he clutched the small player in his palm close to his chest. "I miss you bug. I miss you so much and I wish you were here with me. I need you. I can't lose Henry. I need you too look out for him. Please. Bring him back to me, please." He whispered over and over knowing that June isn't even here to hear him but he knew June would do anything in her power to help him and Henry, if heaven's would allow it.

Alex fell asleep on Henry's bed listening to June's recording over and over until the battery died. He curled up with Henry's jumper and his pillow beside him as he wrapped his arm around it and let himself drifted away in his dreams of him and Henry together at the end.
