VI

I am going to London tomorrow for a few days, and won't be back till Sunday afternoon so I thought I would put up a chapter. I hope you like it and thanks so much for taking your time and voting.

Picture of Oscar on the side. ( I changed  the picture because there are only a few characters in the next chapter and Haley has a big part in it, so I haven't repeated the character pictures.)

Enjoy

I’m standing outside the door of the apartment. My mind’s racing. Aiden made me feel safe and happy, but he’s a jerk. He had the nerve to kiss me, in the middle of a square. He clearly doesn’t understand personal space. I push open the door of the apartment, after unlocking and wonder into the sitting room. Matt and Haley are the only ones in the room. They both say hey and I take a seat on the sofa. I cross my legs. Matt’s on his laptop, while Haley’s reading a book.

“Matt can I use your laptop?” He looks at me and I see his eyebrows furrow together. He passes it to me. I pull up Google and type my name in along with Aiden’s and I groan. My eyes flicker over the screen. How to ruin your reputation in one step? Kiss a well known play boy in board daylight. I click the first link, to see the pics of me and Aiden walking through convert garden. I quickly read it and see there’s no mention of the kiss there.

“So, Bella what do you need my laptop?”

“I may have let Aiden kiss me.” I said shutting Google down. I see Matt’s mouth has fallen open and I glare at him. “Look he was just saying I should stop being perfect and I was about to say I promised my dad that I wouldn’t do anything well, stupid, but he kissed me. In the middle of Covent Garden. What was I thinking? My dad’s going to kill me. I know he likes Jonathan and everything, but after spending the day with Aiden I understand that he’s pretty open and his record is rather long, I must add.”

“Okay, so in a few hours you are 100% completely linked to Aiden. You like him, which I don’t understand. Just give him a chance. He is right you care too much about what everyone else thinks, enough to make yourself unhappy. Your dad never shouts are you, so he takes it out on me. Just give him ago and if it fails I’ll do anything you want.” Matt says taking the seat next to me and he lets me rest my head on his shoulder. Haley is looking at me and she says. He takes the seat next to me and I rest my head on his shoulder. Haley was looking at me and she says.

“Look, he has a reputation, but most guys like that would have already tried to get into your pants and I’m guessing he hasn’t.”

“No, he just made some perverted comments here and there, but he’s a guy and it’s going to happen. I’ll just call him and say I’m sorry.” She nods and I pull out my phone and wander in to my room. I sit on my bed and scroll down the contacts. I click Aiden’s number and put the phone to my ear. It rings twice before it cuts.

“Aiden’s phone, Oscar speaking.” I bite down on my lip. Okay I can do this, Aiden told me about Oscar and I’m sure it won’t be too bad.

“Hey Oscar, I’m Isabelle, I was wondering if Aiden is there.” I could loud noise in the background.

“Aw Isabelle, he’s working at the moment. He got back just in time.” I feel he is mocking me. I guess Aiden hasn’t exactly been nice when talking about, if he has done anyway.

‘I’ll come down then.’

‘Look I may not follow the rules or the time, but I’m the nice one out of me and Aiden and you sound a little lost.’ My eyes flicker around the room and I start playing with my covers, biting down on my lower lip.

‘I am, I don’t know what I want, but it all seems to be so clear when I was with Aiden. I’ll be there in twenty or so, don’t tell him I’m coming. He’s right I need to have fun. I need to stop caring what people think of me.’

“He’s rubbing off on you. I look forward to meeting you.” I shut my phone. I walk to my wardrobe and run my fingers over the clothes. I pull out a pair of black tights, a pair of brown boots, a pair of denim shorts, a beige color top and a brown jacket, which matches my boots. I put on a bit of make-up on a walk out. Haley blocks me.

“So, did you talk to him?” I shook my head.

“One of his friends answered his phone. He’s working so; I’m going to go there. Meet everyone there later.” She nods and I walk out the house.

I wonder down the street and I feel my heartbeat increase in speed after every step I take. When I start to hear the music I feel a little out of it. I set through the door and I feel someone pull me to the side.

“Wow you take your sweet time.” I look up to see an unfamiliar guy. I’m guessing he’s Oscar, he has blue eyes. His hair’s short, but sticks up at the front. His has blondie/brown hair. His eyes are fixed on me. “Sorry, I’m Oscar.”

“I gather, Aiden mention you. He was telling me about when you went to prep school together.” The corner of his mouth turns up and says.

“Well, it’s nice to know he still remembers. Anyways just go order a drink.” I nod and walk over to there. Aiden spots me as soon as I sit down. He walks over to me and leans on the surface. He mummers to me.

“What happened to never seeing me ever again?” I don’t know what I’m thinking, but I fill the gap and crash my lips to his. He kisses me take and I can feel the smile against his lips. There’s something very safe about his kisses. I like them and I didn’t know why I’m being drawn to him. I feel the emotions running through my body as my cheeks burn red. He pulls away and rest, his forehead against mine before saying.

“So, what changed your mind?”

“A mixture of Matt and your friend Oscar.”

“You do realize that I don’t do girlfriends. Even if you are a fucking good kisser that’s all that you are.” I feel my heart drop, but I slowly nod. “Now tomorrow we are going to live life to the fullest, but for today you are getting drunk.” He places a shot in front of me. “There’s your first drink.” I pick it up and drank it in one. “Now let me have a taste.” He leans into press his lips to mine. I kiss him back. I don’t know I am doing everything he says. I know I am boring and having Aiden living me up is like the worst idea in the world but I did want to know how to have fun. He bites my lower lip by mistake but I continue to kiss him. “By the way you look smoking hot in that outfit.” He runs his tongue runs over my bottom lip.

“So, are we going to do anything?”

“Well, I’m supposed to be working, but I think I have a better idea.” He says breaking our kiss again. I pull away and he jumps over the counter. “I have never cared about getting in to trouble anymore, so we are going to have some fun.” I nod and he pulls me against his body and pulls me with him out the building. We walk around to an alleyway, where he pushes me against the door and he kisses me. “So, have you ever been on a motor bike.” I shake my head and he leads me to one that’s parked on the side of the road. He hands me a helmet, which I put on and get’s on the bike. He turns around to face me and I climb on the back. I wrap my arms around his middle and snuggle against him. I rest my chin on his shoulder and whisper into his ear.

“Thank you; this is exactly what I need.” I hear a light chuckle and the engine roar into action. He turns on to the road and I rest my head against his back. I hold on to him, tightly. Scared that if I loosen my grip I will fall to the ground. The air wraps around me and I let my eyes flicker around. The sky hasn’t reach darkness, but I see the sun setting in the distance. Aiden takes a right and, then the bike speeds up. I hold him tighter and I could almost see the smirk he has growing every second. He weaves in and out of the cars and takes a right.

“Where are we going?” I shout, my voice is muffled because of the wind.

“My house and, then I’m not too sure.” He speeds up and I grab him even tighter. He takes a right and again moves in and out of the cars. After some time he pulls into a street which have four floor houses line on the road. Each of the house has white windows; they each had a small wall at the end of a pathway. He drove down the road and my eyes look at the houses. They are all red brick; Aiden pulls into one of the drives and parks his bike. I slide of the seat of the bike. I pull off the helmet and Aiden kisses me again. “So, was that alright for the princess?” I pout and his lips go into a smile. He takes my hand and say. “Mayfair, my lady. The house two to the right is going on sell within the next two months. I really think you should ask your dad to buy it.” I kiss him on the cheek and entwine my fingers with his.

“‘You know it’s not as pretty as I thought it would be. It’s the most expensive place in Britain, but other than the cars it could be a dump for all I know.” He pulls out his cigarettes a lights one, before offering one to me. I shake my head, but it puts it in my hand. “‘I’m not going to smoke. I value my life too much.” He rolls his eyes before blowing into the air.

“Number one rule of life is living it to the fullest, therefore you have no regrets. All I see with you is a girl who just wants everyone else to be happy rather than herself.” I chew on my lip and my eyes flicker to the white tube I’m holding. It runs over my fingers.

“Maybe another time, but baby steps.” He rolls his eyes and takes the cigarette back and placing it in his pocket.

“Sure. I’ll let you off, but I do have a list for you and I want you to do everything on it.”

“So, what else is on that list?” I say wrapping my arms around his neck. He blows the smoke into my face, making me cough a little, leading him to laugh.

“Your hear three months right.” I nod. ‘Well, then you will know at another time. Come on I’ll show where I live. My dad’s in Manchester so, it’s just us. There’s a pool, if you want to swim.’ I look at him and pout. He crashes his lips on mine again blowing the smoke at me.

“Are you trying to make me chock?” he rolls his eyes and he kisses me. The kiss is mix with smoke and I feel the smoke running down my throat as he lips getting deeper. I find it a little harder to breath and our lips move against each other. Aiden breaks apart just as I’m getting in to the kiss.

“Nah, come on.” He takes my hand and once opening door pulls me through the threshold.

“Why is there no lock?”

“Housekeepers.” I look around the hall and I see my reflection staying back at me in the stone floor. I wasn’t surprised by the housekeeper’s thing because I had them at my home back in America. My eyes flicker around the room, and considering how white everything was, the housekeeper’s had done a very good job in keeping the house tidy.

“Well it’s very clean they are doing a great job.”

“Aiden.’ I hear a girl’s voice. Aiden let’s go of my hand before we turn around. His face falls and her eyes go to me in confusion. Her hairs hanging loosely around her shoulders. From the look of her I’m guessing this is his sister. Her hair was light brown and of shoulder length. Her eyes were brown and, her skin was pale in comparison to Aiden. She is very pretty and she is wearing a knee length blue skirt and a black top. Aiden sends a smile to her and says.

“Hey sis.”

“Well hey. Um....” she says looking at me. I feel the color flush to my cheeks.

“It’s Alexis’ right? Aiden mentioned you a couple of time. I’m Isabelle.” I say and try and give her a smile. I didn’t know much about this girl and I didn’t really like it so much. I thought that she would judge me but it seems she was trying to strum up a conversation and she says very sweetly.

“Yes, I know you, but no offence sweetie why the hell are you with my brother? He’s a total arse.’ My eyes flicker to Aiden whose mouth falls open and I couldn’t help, but laugh. Alexis’ face goes to in a smile and I look Aiden who looks pretty mad and I reply to his sister.

“Oh I totally agree, but he does have his sweet moments. I thought you were at university for another month.” Remembering what Aiden had told me about his sister and she looks at Aiden like she is going to tell him off and says.

“No I finished a few days ago. I knew Aiden wasn’t paying attention.” She rolls her eyes as she says this. Aiden looks a little uncomfortable and I had this feeling that Aiden didn’t like me meeting his sister without being warned because I bet she has all the dirt on him.

“It’s useless, unless you’re talking about him. It’s like he doesn’t even pay attention. I’ve known him what nearly twenty-four hours and have still got that much. Although between me and my cousin I think and the help of a few of my friends I think I’ve seen every side of him. Some are good, but there are a lot of bad sides.”

“If you are talking about Matt’s black eye that was not my fault it was his own fault for trying to punch me.”

“Wait what? Matt’s your cousin.” Aiden says and I look to him a little confused by that. I guess he really doesn’t care about anyone else but himself. I roll my eyes before I nod.

“Let’s just say Matt and Aiden had a little disagreement.” Her eyes were still on me and I feel as if she’s scanning me.

“Okay. Well, it’s nice to meet you Isabelle and I hope you’re able to sort out my brother.” She says looking at me again. I smile and she wonderers off into another room. Aiden pulls me up three flights of stairs and along a hallway. He opens up a set of French doors and pulls me on to the baloney. You can see over the building and I see the lights staring to shine bright as the sun is setting.

“It’s pretty up here. If my dad doesn’t want to kill me tomorrow I’ll ask about getting a house here.” There’s a little platform where the roof flattens out and looks like a floor. I take a seat, and Aiden sits next to me. Today was the first day in my life where I feel I’m one hundred percent free.
