Gaining conscious after hours swara got up from the bed with great difficulty and sat properly resting her back in the bed post and held her head wailing painfully with her eyes closed tightly.

"Ah..... God it's paining like hell." swara mumbled while her eyes turned moist due to the heavy headache she had. It was too painful for her that she felt her head would burst out in any moment. The pain was extremely unbearable that her eyes turned moist. 

Caroline who saw swara awake painfully whining quickly sat beside swara and caressed her hair. She really wished that she could help swara somehow to get rid out of the pain and suffering she was going through. Feeling a warmth 

"Mom.. it's paining" Swara's eyes blurred in tears as she tried her best not to cry aloud. Caroline quickly took swara in her embrace. It hurted her everytime when she saw her daughter facing,  struggling and fighting with pain. She didn't know an angel like swara was suffering when she had no fault. Every ounce of cell in her body ached badly but her will power was much stronger. If it was not her will power then she would have not made it up to the position she was at the moment. Though she found it tiring at the start soon it turned to be her routine of fighting within herself to stay strong. 

"First brush up your teeth and come." Caroline said softly and helped swara to get up from the bed and held her till the restroom.

Swara looked at herself in the mirror. Her face was pale as white chalk with bags under her eyes. She seems to have lost weight once again as she saw her cheeks more prominent that the last week with her eyes all red and skin turning cold. Opening the tap, she splashed the water on her face harshly and the deeds she did last night came like a film infront of her eyes. The more she remembered she splashed the water more harder on her face. 

Once again she had tried to hurt her mom without her own conscious. It happens everytime and she end up hurting her. Being still unhealed she was unintentionally hurting her mom who standing as a pillar of support and strength to her everytime she fell weak. 

Splashing more water on her face, she took the towel and wiped her face.

Seeing swara coming out caroline quickly held her and made her sit. Caroline started feeding her breakfast and swara took it all silently. Caroline though found something was wrong she kept it quite and handed over the medicines. Swara quickly gulped in the pills silently.

Caroline made her to take her medicines too. Swara looked at the clock which showed at 9 a.m

"You didn't go for the institution today, mom?" Swara asked as she saw the time which was passed her working time.

"No, I've got special permission. I'll be going at 10:00" Caroline placed the medicines back. Swara lied on caroline's lap still felling guilty. Her guilt was eating her from inside making her heart feel a ton. Caroline caressed her hairs lovingly. Swara wondered what she did that her mom has always loved her.   

"I'm sorry Mom." Swara closed her eyes tightly regretting how she pushed her yesterday.

"Swara, that's okay. You didn't do that on purpose" Caroline explained.

Swara got up and hugged her.

"I'm sorry" swara repeated continuously.

Caroline pulled her out from the hug and caught both her shoulders.

"It's you who's not doing this swara, it's just you are still not out from that....... It's okay leave your mom is fine and she's not got hurt, get that straight into your mind.... You are too weak and paler than before so take rest and don't stress yourself okay?" Caroline said.

"I love you, mom" swara hugged her.

"I love you too my child" Caroline reciprocated.

It just not just once or twice this had happened, it happened so many times yet mom was there. Caroline always pretends to be normal even if she goes vulnerable at nights.... She has always been her pillar of support which she always wanted. Her soothing words and lovely hugs has always made her remembering her ma.

"Okay you go it will get late" swara broke the hug brushing off her thoughts.

"I still have time" Caroline explained as she she wanted to be with swara for more time.

"No no you leave, I'll take care of myself" swara smiled seeing her care.

"Okay" she gave a forehead kiss "take care" Caroline said and went to the institution as she very well knew about her daughter's stubbornness.

Sanskaar was totally lost in thoughts. He didn't see her from morning. He gave the lecture to her class but still she wasn't present.

He felt restless, he cursed himself for forcing her to talk with him yesterday. Her thoughts had totally made him lost in his own thoughts without caring about his surroundings.

He wanted to see her at any cost today. He just wanted to see whether she's fine only this would make her back to normal or to say at least better.

He still couldn't figure out what made him to feel like this for her but he convinced himself saying that he pretended to be in love with her for 4 years and it's just for a sake of humanity, he wanted to know whether she is fine or not!...

But little did he know that his heart didn't accept such an stupid answer from him and expected something else......

"I don't know why swara hasn't shown up today, hope she is fine" Olivia was worried for swara.

"Maybe she's a little sick, you know right swara will not be able to go well with this snowy period" Evan said.

"Yes Evan, it will be better we visit her today. I just want to check whether she is fine" ayaan said while others agreed.

"Wait let's call her for now, I can't wait till evening to hear her voice". Olivia picked up her mobile and started ringing up to Swara.

Swara who was half lying on the bed heard her mobile ringing so she stood up and took her mobile. Her lips turned into a small smile seeing the caller ID. She connected the call.

"Hello, swara are you okay?" Olivia asked in a rush. Her voice itself reflected the concern and worriedness for her best friend.

"Stop running like a horse, I'm fine." swara sat on the couch.

"Then why didn't you attend the class today?" Olivia asked.

"I wasn't well last night resulting to a greatest headache this morning." swara explained.

"Are you fine now?" Olivia asked again.

"Yup... A little better than before" swara answered.

"Okay we'll meet you this evening" Olivia said making swara's eyes widened.

She can't let them come here home or else they might get to know Caroline being here too and she didn't want that.

"Mm... No we'll meet at the park." swara said.

"You are already sick." Olivia yelled.

"I'm already bored sitting in my house so we'll meet at the park at 5:00, that's final." swara said without allowing oli to speak.

"Fine, take care." Olivia said.

"Yeah, bye" swara said and disconnected the call and closed her eyes resting her head on the couch.

Caroline entered the staff room and saw sanskaar sitting alone with a pen in his hand and a book before him but it looked like he was totally lost somewhere.

"Where's your mind wandering?" Caroline took her seat beside him.

This made sanskaar come to sense.

"Mam, when did you come?" Sanskaar closed his pen.

"I'm present here but it seems like you are aren't present here mentally what's the matter?" Caroline placed her hand on his.

"I'm feeling blank today." sanskaar replied bluntly.

"Blank? And you? That's impossible, the sanskaar I know is the one who never given up so easily this way". Caroline said.

Sanskaar left out a chuckle.

"But it isn't happening now" he looked at her.

"I don't know what's bothering you but let me just tell you this! Whatever is running in your mind... don't run away from that, stand and face it so that you free yourself from those thoughts" Caroline said and started taking her music book and turned to leave.

Whatever it is his caroline mam has always says things indirectly which always gives him a solution.

"Thank you mam" sanskaar said turning at the entrance looking at Caroline.

"Any time for my favorite best student" Caroline replied with a smile and left.

Sanskaar had, is and always been professor Caroline's favorite student from the time he entered here. They share a beautiful bond. Sanskaar loves all his professors but Caroline was the bestest among them. She understands him and gives him time to adjust. She is a teacher who makes you strong from your weak points, such an wonderful teacher she had been with all. Caroline had always been more caring to him from the other students but not when it comes to teaching. He always consider her as his bestest teacher ever in his whole life!.....

Sanskaar stood up from his place determined to see her any how today and make sure that she's fine.
