"So I'm forced to protect the girl?" I ask

"It's in your nature rose" Esme said

"But she hates me" i stated

"Because you constantly stare at her" Edward said

"Like your any better" i scoffed

"Bella is my mate Rosalie" Edward said

"She's your mate we get that but this protection i feel for her i...it's strong" i said

"It will only get stronger the closer you get to one another, befriend her rose it will do her and you good" Carlisle said

"But what if she finds out what we are?" Jasper asked

"She's meant to and the vultori know about protectors and it's in the law they are allowed to know" Carlisle said

"So she has to know" Emmett asked

"In terms I guess you could be right" Esme said

"So we tell her?" I asked

"Not yet but soon" Esme said

"And Bella can't know" Edward snapped

"She's a danger to us all" i hissed

"Just because Evelyn is your protected sister mate thing doesn't mean she should know either she'd be in danger too" Edward snapped

"I'll protect her" i hissed

"Like you protect a human please" Edward his

And my anger took hold causing me to throw my brother into a bookshelf.

Evelyn's POV

I walked up the steps of the red barn styled home with my father at my side. Currently we were visiting billy and Jacob. According to dad it would be good for me as it seems Bella has her own friends she's currently with. I wasn't invited to the beach like Bella was so dad dragged me to the blacks family home. I sigh as I struggle to muster up the courage to say something to them. I stare at them for a good five minutes before I take a deep breath. I can do this, I can talk it's not going to hurt to say something right.

"Hi" i finally managed to get out

"Hey kid" billy said with a smile

Although when he went to hug me I flinched back and he stopped.

"Jake's in the garage if you'd like to go see him" billy said

I nodded and went out the door back towards the garage. I heard more then just Jacob's voice causing me to get nervous. I almost retreated back to the house but something told me that I knew them. I knocked on the door and opened it slowly to reveal Jake, Embry and quill.

"Your here" Jake said with a smile

I nodded and Embry looked at me with a confused expression. I sigh and mustered up the strength to hug Jake and the others. It was the most affection I've given anyone other then Bella in a long time.

"I Umm hi" i said softly

"She speaks" Jake laughed softly and I smiled softly but that's all it was quick and faded just as fast
