I packed my bag and rushed past Bella's room which they were in. Then I got into my car and drove over to Emily's with my heart pounding. When I got there Paul was waiting outside with a worried expression. I wanted to be calm I did but I knew he could hear my heartbeat the moment I pulled close enough.

"What's wrong your heart is racing?" He asked while placing a hand on my cheek

"You smell like leech too" he added

"Edward was over he grabbed my arm but I pulled away he was trying to intimidate me with Bella and I just wasn't having it" i said

"I'll kick his ass did he hurt you?" He asked looking at my arm to see fingerprints

"I'm fine I promise just nervous so I packed a bag Hope same and Emily will let me stay a while" i said

"You can stay with me" he said

"You sure?" I asked

"Yes it will make me rest easier knowing your near me" he said and I smiled

I leaned in and pressed my lips to his this being one of our first kisses truly. I kissed back and growled softly causing me to pull back and giggle softly. Although he began to lead me down a dirt path still holding my hand.

"Where we going?" I asked

"My place to drop your bag off I already let Sam know" he said with a smirk

"You and your pack connection thing it's not fair" i laughed

"Trust me I when I say it's better not to have it most times" he said as we reached his house

"Not too far from Sam's place I see" I smiled

Although he froze when he sniffed the air then instantly put me behind him.

"Who you bring home this time?" A male voice said

I'd never met anyone related to Paul or even really talked about his family. So I wasn't sure how his home life was or who this man was. The man he seemed to be hiding me from and nervously too. It only made me a little anxious when he did that because I was worried something was wrong.

"Your supposed to be at work" Paul said

"Why do down about it is it because you can't sneak in anymore sluts if yours" the man said

"First off she isn't a slut of mine she's my girlfriend and you will respect her as such, second I don't have sluts okay" Paul said while his body began to shake

I knew this was bad, that only things could go one of two ways. Either he might shift and hurt whomever this man is. Or two this man gets the hint and leaves us alone but from the look of it he might not. I grabbed my phone out of my back picked and quickly texted Emily.
