Evelyn's POV

It had to work or I was screwed, royally screwed for sure. But soon Victoria was grabbed and I stumbled to the ground. I rushed back inside knowing what was going on. I rushed to Emily and grabbed hold of her as we held into one another. Rosalie had crossed the border or treaty line to save me which I was thankful for more than ever. As the wolves showed up rose ran back over the treaty line and waited for Victoria to cross back over. Hours seemed to pass before Paul and Sam rushed into the house. I ran to Paul while Emily ran to Sam which they gladly accepted the hugs.

"Why did you try sacrificing yourself" Paul asked clearly a little upset

"She wasn't really" Emily said

"We had a plan" i smiled snuggling into his embrace

"Let's not do it again okay" Paul said

"Mhmm k" i said

A few days later

I was in my room getting ready to go over to the pack house when Bella came into my room. Without knocking might I add and Edward was right behind her as well which made me flinch back slightly.

"You don't need to fear me eve" Edward said

"You only have permission to go into my head when in danger and I call out for you otherwise stay out of it" i hissed

"Why don't you trust us when you trust them" Edward asked

"They hurt you more than the cullens did Eve" Bella said

"But the cullens put me in danger the moment I met them the pack unintentionally hurt me it was accidental and the cullens aren't mated to me so they don't have that strong feeling to protect and don't mention Rosalie because she has no choice in the matter she could care less if I were any other human that knew about you and I could have been killed if Paul hadn't imprinted on me, I would be vampire food and the pack would rather protect me and die saving me then eat me" I snapped knowing put dad wasn't home

"But that's not right Evelyn and you know it" Bella pleaded

"I should get going I'm staying at Emily's for a few hours" i said

"Evelyn that's not fair to them or me, are we going to be apart the rest of our lives because of them?" Bella asked

"If you can't find it in you to separate from them and visit me then yes, that's how it's going to be" I said and pushed past them but Edward grabbed me lightly

"Let go of me" i snapped

"Evelyn you have to understand me and my family don't drink human blood we'd never purposely harm you" Edward said

"I said let go Edward" i said pulling at my arm

He let go and I walked back into my room shut the door and packed a bag instead. I now planned on staying away from Bella for a little while and her boyfriend or fiancé. She thinks I don't know she's engaged to him but I do. And I can't wait to see how Jacob takes this news when she tells him.
