"Ok listen even I want to tell you something." she said suddenly and he could sense something disturbing her

"What is it disturbing you? Tell me." he said making her sit down in the vacant Audi and she grew comfortable around him.

"I talked to your brother . Before you come to conclusions please listen me out." she begged him.

"Go ahead." his voice which was all soft a minute ago had turned straight and hard.

She knew something was wrong between the two brothers and she wanted to clear it out.

"He wants to make peace with you Abhay. He said he seriously loves you ,believe me please!" she tried to reason out with him all the while holding his hands.

He jerked his hands away from her grip and got up.

He moved his hand in his hair and the anger boiling up inside him.

"He only wants me to die Piya,he doesn't love me." he said it in a loud voice which scared Piya.

"He wants to mend his broken ways ,he has called us to his small get-together party on the occasion of you being discharged." she said hoping he understood his brother but in vain.

"My god why are you so in favour of him? You go and attend that stupid party ,I am not coming there." he replied and turned around.

"Fine ,you stay here I am going. You don't even want to listen to my justification Abhay!" she said totally losing her calm and rushed away.

'How do I tell you Piya that the guy for whom you are justifying is in fact probably planning to harm you?' he thought and went after her.

Piya went the whole way cursing Abhay, how could he leave his girlfriend that too just when he proposed.

As she entered the venue for the party, she appreciated the decorations and smiled as Sid greeted her.

"Hi Piya, where is Abhay? Didn't he come?"Sid  asked  looking all around the party and his eyes searching the entrance.

"Uhh I.." she stuttered realizing she had promised Sid that she would bring him along.

"Oh its alright! I completely understand." Sid said keeping a comforting hand on her shoulders.

The next second he was surprised as he saw his hand being jerked away.

A smirk came up on his face as he saw Abhay standing there.

"Oh baby bro is here." said Sid smirking and further added ,"So possessive huh?"

Piya blushed at that while Abhay clinged Piya to his side and took her away with him.

"How come you are here now?" Piya asked pretending to be angry but Abhay pulled her closer by the waist.

"You had forgotten something!" he said fishing his hands in his pocket and took out a diamond ring for her.

She gasped in shock and looked at him for a long time before pulling him in for a hug.

She was so happy to have him beside her.

"I just came here to protect my girlfriend and I'll keep doing it forever!" he said glancing behind Piya's shoulder as he hugged her.

Sid showed him a thumbs up which he was soon  convert to a thumbs down!
