Yellow woke up to the sound of Pidgey talking to each other. The sun was shining bright in the sky. It was quiet and peaceful. But something about this didn't feel right to her. She sat up and looked out the window. Blue and Green were down in her yard. She groaned lightly before she grabbed her mouth with her right hand. Her left hand touched her forehead in concern. She rubbed her eyes and quickly changed. She should be happy to see her friends. Why did she groan like they were annoying? She quickly got some breakfast and went out to greet them. She managed a smile as she went over to them.

"Hey guys! What's up?" Green smirked.

"Checking on you. You're the only one that doesn't live in Pallet Town." She smiled softly.

"That so sweet of you guys." She then noticed a missing presence. "Where's Red?"

"He had somewhere else to be." Blue mumbled. A smile appeared on her face. "Do you want to know what he said about missing the visit?"

"Sure..." She fought down the cold feeling in her head.

"His exact words were 'I wish I could go... but this just got in the way. Tell Yellow I said hi.'"

My face felt warm after that. Whether she was lying or he actually said that would be a good question. I looked at Green for help. He nodded.

"I was surprised when he said that. He was red in the face during the conversation. Of course, he ran off before we could ask him about it." Yellow giggled. It felt like she was forcing herself to be happy. But why? Green must've taken notice. "You good, Yellow? You seem... off."

"I don't know... I might have to lay down for a little bit." Blue touched her forehead and frowned.

"You don't feel warm... maybe you didn't sleep well..."

"Maybe..." She mumbled faintly under her breath. She was hoping that was it. "Well... I'm going to go back to bed. Maybe I'll be doing better..."

"Alright... take care of yourself, Yellow. We'll see you later." The two went off. She went back inside and laid down.

A shadow loomed over Mossdeep City. Red eyes flashed as the figure disappeared into a building. A small family was arguing about something until they heard a click.

Bang!

The entire family dropped to the floor. The figure disappeared from the building and appeared in Lilycove. Emerald was standing there, waiting. The person went over and sat down against the building next to Emerald. Emerald went over and touched their head.

"You shouldn't stress your body too much..." The figure looked up to reveal Red.

"I wasn't tryi-" Red grabbed at his chest and wheezed. Emerald immediately touched the back of his neck. Red gasped as air flowed through his lungs. Emerald gulped.

"See? Something like that could happen." Red trembled.

"I don't know why this keeps happening... it's almost like someone's choking me..." Emerald frowned.

"Go home. Rest. I'll make sure that the other CSK members work the jobs, ok?"

Red nodded weakly before pulling out his Aerodactyl. He took off. He landed in front of his house and went in. As soon as he got into bed, his air froze. He grabbed at his chest, trying to breathe. The air finally circulated again, leaving him to heavily breathe. He then paused. He should have gone with the others to visit Yellow. She would know what was happening to him. He decided to fall asleep since his breathing wasn't going to cooperate. He closed his eyes and thought.

I'll go talk to Yellow tomorrow.
