Winter Soldier's P.O.V.

The girl opens her eyes slowly. Violet eyes, I notice. She tries to move her head to see where we are. I almost laugh. This mission has been smooth sailing so far. I killed the woman, extracted the girl and we are now traveling to base. I get out a new needle and uncap it. 

"Please don't" The girl, Ava; I think, begs "I'll behave, just please tell me where we are going." I shake my head.

"Then tell me what's going to happen to me?" She sounds uncertain.

"Then is my Mom alive?"

"No" I reply huskily, surprising myself. She physically deflates. Weak.

"Needle." I jab it into her and continue to drive.

Steve's P.O.V

"Look, guys." Coulson stands up. "We just go a fax in. This is it. Authentic to. Sorry, but she's long gone." He places a file down on the table. I open it and a Fax falls out. I look down and imediantly regret it. Ava, blood coming out of her body, which is filled with bullet holes. He violet eyes wide in shock. her throat open so it is just hanging onto her neck, Blood seeping through her copper hair, staining it red. I stare at it in shock. Never would a human with morals do to such a young person. At lest, not from the time period I came from, but this is NOT the stone age, so surely, no one should do this here, now, in such a modern civilisation. But they do. I push the sheet across the table. And Clint screams. Loudly.

"HOW COULD THEY DO THAT TO A KID?!" He yells in outrage.

"Clint, her mother worked for HYDRA. Maybe." Nat trails off.

"What?" Bruce asks curtly

"Maybe thats the best thing that could happen to her. A bullet could have killed her, and then she died instantly, so she wasn't tourtured." Nat finishes

"True, but it's" Clint begins

"Still not good, I know."  Nat says "I, need to think. Goodbye." 

And she walks out.

"I want to" I begin

"Me too, but well, we may never be able to avenge her, because, every time that we do, some new fact may arise about what happened to her and we would want to avenger her for that reason too. I want to, but it may not be possible."
