"it's time to move on.

forget everything,

let go of him,

and live on."

their words left me in disarray

do i really have to move forward

and recover from what i'm feeling

just because he walked away?

i can hold on to these

the remembrance, sentiment, fondness

everything we once had

letting go isn't the only way to peace

i said,

"i don't have to move on,

i can stay just right here

the way to happiness isn't always forward

for me, it's where he is near."

"but now he's gone

still, i'm staying right here

waiting forever

if ever that exists."
