I guess I should start by telling you a bit about myself.
My name's (Y/N), I'm going to be graduating high school next year, I live in Portland, Oregon, and I'm Valedictorian of my class. I had plans to attend Harvard to study computer science but those plans are no more.
You may be asking yourself, "Why is she throwing her great life away?"
The answer is simple. I want a fresh start. And in order to get this fresh start, I have to disappear.
"But why do you want a fresh start?" I hear you asking yourself.
The answer is again simple. My life is a series of boring events. All my life I've been doing the same things over and over again and if I don't break this cycle, my life will be virtually the same forever.

It's not like anyone will ever find this so  I'll tell you about myself.
My name? Mark. Mark Fischbach to be exact. I'm nineteen but I'm still in my senior year of high school. No, I didn't take an extra year of preschool and that's why I'm behind. I kinda failed the first time around and I'm set to fail a second time. It's not my fault that I have better shit to do than this stupid Calculus and other bullshit that school throws at us. I have a legacy to upkeep. My family's not really known but not because we're new to Portland.
It's because we're thieves.
Yes, I'm a thief. I have to say, I'm a damn good one too because I managed to steal over ten thousand dollars in jewelry. The best part is that no one suspects a thing. I'm a social butterfly who's nice to everyone. If I was the mysterious and quiet one, people would question me. And that isn't something that I want.

I've decided that school can go and fuck itself so I dropped out so I can give all of my attention to my work in the line of thieves. But in order to do that, I have to disappear. My parents and brother can make up some bullshit story why I'm gone. I trust them. But that's only because they're my family.
