Chapter Eighty-Five: How Could You Do This To Me?

You woke up in Jacob's bed. Your hands were still tied behind your back and your mouth was still duct taped. You sat up and blinked sleep out of your eyes. You looked down and saw that you were naked. The only thing that you were wearing was the necklace Mark gave you for one of your birthdays. You were surprised that Jacob had let you wear that. But, nonetheless, you were thankful that he actually did let you wear it.
"No." You said, the reality of what had happened to you coming together. "He did not."
"Hello sweetie." Jacob said, coming into the room and shutting the door behind him. Your heart started beating faster when you heard the door close.
"Is he going to do it again?" You thought to yourself. "Please, don't let him do it again."
"You've been sleeping soundly for a few days sweetie." He said, wrapping his arms around your naked body. "What I gave you must have really done you in."
"What did you give me?" You screamed, hoping that he guessed what you were thinking instead of what you were saying.
He let go of you and cupped his face in your hands.
"It was hard." He said. "Doing the things that I did with you. It was mostly because you were pregnant."
Your eyes became as wide as saucers.
"Pregnant?" You thought. "No. That's impossible. I'm not pregnant. He's bullshitting. I know he is."
"If you don't believe me, there's some pregnancy tests in the bathroom." Jacob said. "I bought them to make sure that you weren't before I, well, you can probably figure out what I did."
He untied your hands and escorted you to the bathroom.
"Now, I respect your privacy but I'm watching you very closely." He said. "If I think that you're taking a bit too long in there, I'll come in and I really don't care what you're doing."
You rolled your eyes and went inside, leaving the door unlocked behind you.
"When the hell did Mark and I have sex?" You thought to yourself as you took the test. "I can't even remember."
It didn't really matter at this point. What mattered was if this test was going to fail or not.
And it didn't.
A little green plus appeared a few minutes after you had taken the test.
"Shit." You thought. "I'm pregnant. And I'm not even married to the baby daddy yet."
"What's taking so long in there?" Jacob asked, pounding on the door.
You sighed and left the test on the counter and went out of the bathroom.
"So," he said. "pregnant?"
You just nodded.
"This'll make things a lot harder." He muttered to himself. He cleared his throat and made eye contact with you as he spoke to you, "I'm guessing you're pretty cold without clothes. Go in that room over there and you should find something to wear."
He pointed to a door that was the second door on the right. You walked over to it and went inside.

The room appeared to have once belonged to a girl. There were posters of Fall Out Boy everywhere and some of Panic! At The Disco.
"Great taste." You thought. You went over to the closet and saw that there were tons of T-shirts. Most of them were Fall Out Boy and Panic! At The Disco respectively but some of them were Pokemon and others were just plain white shirts that were probably going to be designed at some point but whoever this room belonged to just never got around to actually putting a design on the shirt.

You ultimately decided on a Charmander T-shirt and some jean shorts. Once you were done changing, you left the room and found Jacob standing near the room like he did with the bathroom.
"Excellent choice." He said. "That's probably what I would have chosen too."
You didn't know if he was referring to the fact that Charmander was the Pokemon he would chose (Maybe he was trying to make a joke, you didn't really know.) or that he was referring to the fact that he would chose the shirt out of all the choices that were in the room. Regardless of what he meant, you were happy with your choices and that was all that really mattered in the end.
"Who's room is that?" You tried to ask but, just as you always did, it failed.
"Are you asking who's room that is?" He asked.
You nodded.
"Oh." He said, his face turning grave. "I was really hoping that you wouldn't ask."
You wanted to smile. You had made Jacob vulnerable. Usually he was the one making you vulnerable, but this time the tables were turned. And you loved every single second of it.
"Come out in the living room with me and sit on the couch." He said, walking over to the stairs and beckoning you over. "I need to talk about it."
You walked over to him and he immediately walked down the stairs and towards the direction of the couch. You followed him and sat down next to him.

He sighed when you sat down and even looked up at the ceiling.
"It's a long story." He warned. "Are you sure you want to listen?"
You nodded.
"Fine." He said. "I'm warning you that you're the only person that I've ever told this to."
You just looked at him, trying to show him that you were listening. You had no idea why you were doing this. Just a few feet away was a chance to escape but you didn't want to take that chance. You really had no idea why. Maybe it was because of the fact that you were seeing Jacob vulnerable for once. Regardless of the reason, you didn't bolt for the door.
"I'm ready to talk about it." He said. He paused to sigh once more. "Here goes nothing."
