( FOUR SQUARE PART 2 )

STEP ELEVEN. Choose a color from the image (preferably their hair or a color on the background). Choose an airbrush pen (any airbrush will do). Draw on half the face. Place on a blend you like (I prefer overlay but that's just me). Then duplicate the layer but turn the opacity down a bit.

STEP TWELVE. Using any airbrush option, color half the layer black and the other half white. Change the blend to overlay and adjust opacity.

From here you can add anything you want to. Save when done. Repeat all these steps three more times.

so when I created this tutorial, I no longer had the 3 other covers saved to my gallery. Because the times at the top are not when I created the tutorial. I had to screenshot them from discord cause I had sent them in my group chat cause I had to restart my phone. And discord won't let me save directly sometimes so I just took a screenshot of all the image.

So anyway, below will still be the 4 square thingy, but it will just be another way to do it (which is 4 actual images rather than 4 different covers).

STEP THIRTEEN. On a new canvas add the background I am providing at the bottom.

STEP FOURTEEN. Add your first image, place on screen and erase anything outside the lines.

STEP FIFTEEN. Repeat step 14 for the other 3 spots. Merge all layers.

STEP SIXTEEN. Duplicate the layer and make the top layer a bit smaller than the bottom layer. Try to get it as close to the middle of the cover as you can.

STEP SEVENTEEN. Blur the bottom layer.

STEP EIGHTEEN. Create a new layer in between the two layers and choose drop shadow and adjust accordingly.

STEP NINETEEN. Add some type of texture to the middle of the cover. I used a piece of tape thing. You can use a cloud overlay, sticky note overlay, tape overlay, a random swipe overlay, etc... anything you want to.

STEP TWENTY. Add your title on a blank layer.

STEP TWENTY ONE. Duplicate the layer where you made the image a bit smaller (which should be your 3rd layer) and place it as the top layer. Clip this layer onto your text layer. You'll merge these two layer. If something popped up asking about rasterizing or whatever, say yes.

STEP TWENTY TWO. If wanted, add a shadow to the text. Save when done.

STEP TWENTY THREE. Add your filter

I have plenty of covers to do tutorials on. I'm hoping I can work on them Saturday because that's my next off day.

However, I might be going to my parents? Idk yet. If I do, the wifi won't work half the time so I may not be able to post them, but I'll still be able to do the covers and take screenshots for later.
