Hi... It's completed now.

"Everyone gathered already?" Jimin asked the Empress who was standing ahead on the porch while every member of Eclipse, child to teenagers, newly mated to old, all people were surrounding the porch in a big circle.

"Yes, Hyungnim. Alpha is going to announce the departure soon." Jungkook said. 

It was the fresh dawn of a new day and everyone was waiting for their Emperor although their eyes were stuck on their Empress who was talking animatedly with the Royal Omega. His light green hanfu was swaying in the breeze of the morning. He looks absolutely eternal.

The chaos came to a halt when the Royal Alpha stepped outside of the palace and marched up to the porch while accepting the greets most politely.

The Empress bowed a little and Taehyung nodded his head slightly in his way before turning towards the crowd of Eclipsers.

"The time has come where we should solve the Northern land issue, as per Your Empress's suggestion we ought to adopt the paring and burning method for a few years until the soil recovers."

"Till then we will use southern land. I know the southern area is covered with bushes and wild grass right now but we'll clean it and prepare it for the upcoming season of crop production. But the rainy season is next month, So I will need the help of some eclipsers." 

The Eclipsers agreed in a breath and Taehyung made them calm by raising his palm," We should tend to the solution right away. We have to reach the southern area by tonight so everyone who is willing to go, only has a little time to pack necessary things. We are going for a month or until the rainy season. We will depart when the sun arrives at its peak." 

The Sun has just risen from the east, so everyone has three to four hours to pack their goods.

"If anyone has questions about the Journey, you may ask." The Royal said in finality but no one said anything.

The Royal Alpha nodded," Let us meet here before the departure." 

Taehyung dismissed the eclipsers and took a step behind. He sighed and if anyone could notice his lips tugged upwards in a faint smile when he saw how every eclipsers started running towards the gate to pack their necessary things. His people certainly are the most devoted to him. His expression went back the same way as he raised his voice.

"Stop."

Everyone stopped when they heard their Alpha's voice and returned to their previous position.

"What happened, Alpha?" One of them asked.

Taehyung's eyes were soft when he replied," I asked for help only from some of you. Not all eclipsers can head south for a month. So please decide who wants to accompany me and who will stay here." 

The talks between Eclipsers start with whispering to arguments, arguments to statements, statements to declarations. And when those declarations were about to become shouts, Taehyung stopped them again.  

"The ones who will stay here will be the only ones who will look after my healing after returning."

The talks died down in minutes and half of the Eclipsers smiled brightly and accepted to just stay in their pack and help others in packing.

"Did Alpha just negotiate with their people by offering himself as a bribe?" Jungkook hushed Jimin.

The Royal omega smiled brightly," He needs to. Otherwise, all of us will follow him even if he has denied it."

Jungkook smiled in acknowledgement, these people always mesmerize him with their pure love.

"I am just asking because you also know he can't wear hanfus and a traditional veil in the fields. Taehyung, I need to take your fitted clothes." Jimin said, his hands were placed on his hips and his face had an expression as if he was saying the most obvious thing in the world.

And, he was standing like this in front of Taehyung's closets. 

The mentioned Alpha was standing beside the bed with his arms crossed around his torso. 

"Kindly let me." Jimin smiled and opened one of the closets. He starts fumbling into the clothes, everything was black and each piece of clothing has a different kind of length and holes," Heaven knows, I would never ask for your weird clothes if we hadn't had an emergency." He sighed harshly and again started his search.

Taehyung looked away and approached his last closet. He opened it and took out a good amount of clothes," Here, These will be enough." 

Jimin turned around and saw his brother holding a bunch of clothes in his arms. The Royal Omega analyses the clothes, half-length cloaks, mid-length clothes, medium-sized shirts- uh or maybe pants. 

He quickly shook his head and looked at his brother," I will not ask How you know that these will exactly fit Jungkook." He commented.

Taehyung rolled his eyes at that, making Jimin giggle out loud. 

"So As this work is done, I'll be off to pack my own things. See you soon, brother." Jimin twirled and went to the door of Taehyung's chamber.

The Royal Alpha's gaped at Jimin and asked quickly," Jimin, these clothes? Deliver them in your way." 

The Royal omega stopped in his steps and turned around, his calm eyes turning into slits," You really don't have any shame, giving your older brother orders like this."

Taehyung opened his mouth to say something but Jimin raised his hand stopping him in the middle," I'm out of it. He is your mate, your husband, your omega. So it's not my duty to take care of him. It's your right. And I will never, never ever snatch away my little brother's rights." 

"So, go ahead, brother." Jimin smiled so sweetly that Taehyung instantly shook his head. But The Royal omega was quick enough to exit the room. 

The Royal Alpha's tongue stretched and poked his cheek. He looked down, his arms were full of clothes. 

"We just have to deliver. Don't bother much, His Majesty." He heard his wolf's voice inside his head.

"I know. It's just…. Nothing. Let's get over it." Taehyung pressed his lips together and walked out of his chamber. 

It was the shortest walk he had to take to reach the Royal Empress's room but the Royal Alpha was walking awfully slowly.

He stopped in the middle when he remembered the last night.  The omega's eyes, so vulnerable yet determined before he kis…

Taehyung looked at the ceiling and released a deep breath. It's nothing. Why are you hesitating in going to his chamber? Why? You have work that needs to be finished, that's all. Nothing more or less. 

He continued walking and found the omega's chamber was already fully opened. Maybe the omega was also doing the packing. He knows his scent must have alerted the omega yet he decides to knock on the door.

Even before the knock Jungkook knows who was at his door. His face got flustered, cheeks reddening in the sudden arrival of his mate. His eyes roamed around the room. Where is my veil? 

"Bathhouse," Kookie replied.

Jungkook was about to make a run to the bathhouse, just so he could hide his face but Kookie spoke again," It wouldn't be respectful if we made Alpha wait. He already saw you." 

Jungkook sighed and turned to the door," Yes, Alpha." 

Soon the Alpha entered and Jungkook's mouth parted in a muted gasp. So many clothes, what is happening? Why is Alpha carrying them around like this?

Taehyung's gaze didn't meet omega's eyes as he placed all the clothes on the bed," There are some clothes that you could use while working in the fields." 

Jungkook approached the Alpha and touched the clothes. There are many things, even a short veil that can only cover the lower part of the face, leaving the eyes uncovered.

"But You shouldn't have to bother, Alpha. I would have managed-"

"Jimin said it's necessary. He looked into my closet to find something suitable." 

Jungkook lifted a shirt and unconsciously sniffed it," These clothes… aren't yours." He stated. His Alpha's scent was lingering on the clothes but not like those clothes that Taehyung provided on the night of his heat. It wasn't the same. 

Taehyung didn't say anything, he stared at the scattered clothes on the bed.

"Have you bought these for me?" Jungkook's eyes were huge when he asked this question to his Alpha. He watched how his Alpha's neck was turning red with each passing second.

At one point Jungkook feared if the Royal Alpha was breathing or not.

"Alpha-"

"It's nothing. The departure will be soon." The Alpha walked out with his head held high. Jungkook was utterly bewildered by what had just happened.

But he quickly followed his Alpha and stood in front of him," I will not ask." 

Taehyung matched his eyes this time, the same blank grey orbs gazing at Jungkook when he continued his talk," I will not ask but let me thank you for your kindness." 

"Not necessary, it's one of my duties," Taehyung said flatly.

"Still. It's a nice gesture of yours. I'm thankful." Jungkook bowed a little to which Taehyung responded. 

"I will see you on the pathway, Alpha." They bid short farewells and return to their chamber. One of them has the widest smile on his face and another one is rubbing his forehead on his chamber's door.

A long row of horses along with soldiers had started their journey towards the northern land already, they had assigned the work of burning the leftover debris on the land. The sun was shining at its peak and the Eclipsers who will accompany their Alpha were already in their wolf forms to start their trek. 

All wolves will march towards the southern land under the leadership of their Royal Omega who was standing beside his mate, both of them also in wolf form and flicking each other's ears just to stabilise their postures. 

Half of the soldiers were surrounding the Eclipsers in wolf form while the other halves were positioned on horses to navigate the path ahead of the group.

The Royal Alpha was sitting on his horse, massaging Artax's nape with the soft pad of his fingers. 

No one was moving. Because their Empress hadn't arrived yet. 

With every passing moment people were getting impatient, their eyes were moving from the entrance gate to their Alpha once in a while. Each time, They found their Alpha glancing towards the palace subtly.

Taehyung was fixing the reins when he heard the silent movement from afar, maybe from the Royal hallways. The scent came afterwards, the Empress was coming downstairs. The upcoming steps were hurried. Maybe the omega was realising that he was getting late, The Alpha could even hear the omega's quick breathing but he didn't look up.

Although as soon as a shadow approached the path that leads to palace gates, his gaze lifted from the knots of reins and fell on the pathway. 

His ears witnessed how the pathway fell in immense silence and his eyes witnessed how every eye present in the area was staring at the emerging omega, The omega was looking as eternal as he first saw him. 

Taehyung turned his head away. 

Jungkook was looking down, hesitating in between apologising and running back into the palace. He has never worn such clothes outside of his chamber. A black combat boots on his feet that he borrowed from his Yoongi hyung, clothes given by his Alpha. His pants and shirt both were a little loose which he was thankful for.

A short veil was covering his face from his nose to chin that he had tucked into his hair, Jungkook had used the leftover cloth of his veil to make a simple bun so that his hair wouldn't come in between his work.

He comes here with his head held high but the awed gazes of the Eclipsers and the terrific silence around him were making Jungkook nervous.

He looked down and his hands came around in a soft hold, a gesture of hesitancy.

He heard the loud neigh of Artax, maybe a certain Alpha helped him to divert the staring gazes. And it worked, the people bowed to their Empress quickly and started appreciating his beauty with words. The Eclipsers in their wolf forms sat on their paws.

Jungkook blushed under his veil. 

"Lead the path, Soldiers." The Alpha commanded and the soldiers that were positioned on the horses started the journey with a hoot of agreement. 

Taehyung motioned towards Jimin and the Royal omega howled to all wolves. All of them stride behind the soldiers in the blink of an eye. Everyone was excited for this journey.

Jungkook was looking around nervously while his feet were approaching Artax unknowingly, he frowned when he didn't find any other horse around him. 

Artax let out a happy neigh to greet His Empress and got a small caress on his nose as acceptance. Jungkook looked up at his Alpha and asked in a whisper," Should I shift? I can't see any other horse here."

Taehyung pulled the reins and Artax moved further, stopping when Luna came across the Royal Alpha.

The Alpha was wearing a black t-shirt whose sleeves were folded up to his arms. His veiny hands were holding the reins in such a way that Jungkook couldn't look at them any longer. Legs are covered by loose pants and it was secured by a leather belt around the hips. 

Jungkook looked up again and Taehyung held all the reins in his right hand, freeing his left hand completely. But Jungkook in the heavens has never expected that hand to be stretched out towards him in a polite way. 

He started at the outstretched hand without blinking and then he heard his Alpha's voice," You are riding with me." 

Jungkook felt breathless when his eyes fell on the saddle, it was neat and fresh yet so small. How would they adjust- 

His eyes found Taehyung again and he accepted his hand nonetheless, he saw how his Alpha made a small space for him on the saddle and gestured Jungkook to climb on.

Jungkook put his foot into the stirrup and squeezed his Alpha's hand tightly to balance his body before climbing on the horse. He sat on the saddle, grabbing the front straps to hold his posture before leaving his Alpha's hand.

Although he shivered when he felt a strong arm circling his waist before lifting his hips into a more comfortable position. 

Jungkook's lips leave a ragged breath when Taehyung loosens up his grip and pulls away to balance the reins again. 

Jungkook was sitting in between the strong arms of his Alpha, where the veiny hands were right in front of his eyes, pulling and tugging at the reins. He found the blue thread from their ceremony still wrapped around his Alpha's wrist. It brought a smile to Jungkook's lips.

He was sitting in front, his back was flushed against the Royal Alpha's chest, hips secured by Alpha's thighs and his ears could hear the small giggling and whispering of the Eclipsers.

The level of shyness wasn't letting Jungkook breathe when finally… his Alpha decided to depart. I should have brought another horse from the warehouse, Alpha will feel uncomfortable through the ride and hyungnim will tease me after reaching southern land. Why? Why? Why do we have to travel like this?

Jungkook stilled when he felt a hot breath right under his ear and a voice so deep," Because Lunas never travel alone." 

"You are thinking very loudly, Your Empress."

Artax was an experienced horse, Jungkook concluded it from the smooth ride. They have come out of the territories of the palace.

No matter how narrow and rough the path was, Artax was surging through it mesmerizingly. Jungkook hadn't spoken a word after sitting on the horse just slightly observing the hands of his Alpha. He noticed how his Alpha was not pulling reins any strongly, just slight tugs here and there. The small neck rubbings just before a sharp turn and hummings of appreciation which Artax receives after.

Jungkook bit his lips and looked around, he saw two different roads in front of him and when 
Artax turned to the left side, he decided to ask," Where would the right path lead us?" He already knew that this left path would lead them to the southern land.

He felt that warm breath against his neck," Towards Mystic Shadow." 

"That pack who presented a salutation during our ceremony rituals?" Jungkook tried to remember. He received an agreement in the form of a smooth hmm.

"I have noticed that there are a lot of wells and lakes in Eclipse as compared to Lunar." Jungkook was trying his best to pick up a little bit of conversation with his Alpha. This moment includes the most special moments of Jungkook's life, he wants good memories from it.

"After every two miles. It's a primary source of survival." Taehyung responded.

"So true. But in lunar, there is always a deficiency of wells and ponds. Lack of monsoon was also the main reason." Jungkook said.

"It's cured now." 

"What?" Jungkook asked while tilting his head a little towards Taehyung just to listen properly.

"Lunar has enough water resources now. It's under my governance." Taehyung said and inclined forward to rub Artax's neck as a sharp turn was coming.

Jungkook felt an odd sense of pride. People of the Lunar must be living a healthy life now. He felt content.

He kept asking random questions that didn't fall under the categories of silliness or seriousness. Both of them travelled a distance of two hours.

Jungkook felt the movement against his back, The Alpha was moving his head frequently to look from one side to another side while balancing the reins. 

Jungkook hesitated but finally touched the reins over Taehyung's hand. He gripped the reins in a perfect hold before asking," What happened?"

Taehyung stared at the omega in front of him. And then at his hands that were holding reins over him. He loosened up his grip and left all the balance in Jungkook's hands.

The omega secured a grip over it and the ride became smooth again. Jungkook listened closely when the Alpha spoke up," Picking up the scents of Eclipsers, we are about to reach soon, I'm assuring someone hadn't been left behind." 

Jungkook nodded his head but frowned when he saw a wall of long and twisted twigs and branches on either side of the road. 

"What's that Alpha?"

Taehyung moved closer and looked ahead," These are wild twigs, Artax knows the path we just need to tuck our bodies down." 

"What?" They were about to enter the small opening of the road. Large twigs and leaves were covering the entire road, not even the sunlight could penetrate them.

Taehyung looked down and saw the hook of the saddle. If they both bend ahead, it will harm the omega's lower belly for sure. He brought his hand in front of Jungkook and covered the hook of the saddle with it. " Hold the reins and bend forward," Taehyung ordered. 

And Jungkook complied as quickly as possible on the moving horse. Although He held his breath when he felt a hand around his shoulder and the next moment his Alpha's body was covering his entire back.

Jungkook exhaled with an open mouth. Maybe the shortage of oxygen was the reason or the hand that was pressed against his lower belly. 

"These twigs are spread upto half a mile. So stay like this." Taehyung mentioned and he didn't know but his hold around Jungkook's body tightened a little.

Everything turned black when they entered the cave-like road, full of wild branches, and small but sharp twigs. 

Jungkook knew Taehyung's hand which was covering the hook could be hurt by their access weight so he exhaled deeply and tried to keep his lower hips as contracted as possible. He kept holding his breath just letting out bits of huffs and puffs silently.

The omega felt small under the large body of his Alpha, their bodies were pressed together closely. Not even a leaf could enter in between them.

Jungkook was about to pass out when he saw the rays of sunlight. The opening was closer, he inhaled slowly and as soon as Artax spurted out from the road, Taehyung pulled him back. 
 
Both of them heaved a breath of relief. Jungkook coughed and pulled Taehyung's hand away from the horn. He sighed when he found the skin of the palm good and intact. He gripped the reins with one hand and didn't realise that he was still holding Taehyung's hand in his. 

From afar it looked as if their Alpha was holding the waist of their Luna but in reality, It was Jungkook who was keeping their hands combined in one place. 

Jungkook's eyes closed for a moment when a breath fell against the back of his neck," My hand is fine, Luna."

"It's not," Jungkook whispered. He squeezed the middle of the palm with the tip of his thumb and focused forward, seemingly ignoring the words of his Alpha.

Taehyung pulled away a little as soon as the expense of southern land comes into the view. People had shifted and were forming pavilions and tents around the southern lake. The soldiers were helping them and delivering water to all the horses.

All of their eyes fell on them when Artax stopped near the lake to drink water. Taehyung pulled his hand back and this time Jungkook let it go.   

The Royal Alpha climbed down the horse swiftly and waited for the Empress. Jungkook didn't notice and pulled his legs to one side to jump when he saw his Alpha standing under him. 

Oh.

"It's okay. I can-" his words were soft as he tried to say that he knows how to come down and he will manage it. 

But the Alpha didn't wait for his sentence to complete. A pair of hands grabbed Jungkook by his waist and hoisted him up in the air. 

His fingers clenched around Taehyung's shoulder, breath clasping somewhere in his lungs, he felt weightless as the Alpha turned around and put him down on the surface. 

He couldn't feel the earth under his feet, his toes contracting and spreading inside the shoes just to feel that he was literally, physically, actually standing on his feet. 

His mask slipped up to his chin as he was breathing harshly, it wasn't normal. The fingers around his waist loosen up their grips but didn't pull away. Jungkook was staring at the Alpha with wide eyes.

"I'm a very good mathematician," Taehyung said, his eyes looking into the depth of Jungkook's soul.

"Huh?" Unable to speak, Jungkook let out a noise of doubt.

"I have always kept my record settled and clear. Never kept something that wasn't mine and never wished something that couldn't be mine." The Royal Alpha whispered as his one hand pulled away from Jungkook's waist.

Jungkook's heartbeat lurched when he felt fingers beneath his chin and his bare face comes right under his Alpha's gaze.

"So with all due respect," Taehyung husked and his eyes holding a rare expression that Jungkook doesn't aware of the meaning of.

"Keep your kiss to yourself." 

Before Jungkook could comprehend the meaning, his whole world tilted back in the rotation when a pair of lips touched the upper part of his cheek. He inhaled sharply, just to balance the gut-wrenching blow of butterflies in his stomach.

The time stopped, and everyone around the lake stopped working just to stare at the sight of the century because from their angle it looks like a kiss on the lips. 

Jimin who was standing just in between them lost his balance and tripped on his feet, however, Yoongi was there who helped his mate and brought him back to his feet. 

"Tell me I'm not seeing things?" Jimin whispered in Yoongi's neck.

"Neither am I?" He received a reply.

Jungkook felt an attack approaching his heart, he will die soon. He gulped with a dry throat and exhaled in discontinuous short breaths when Taehyung pulled his lips away. 

The Alpha looked angry? when he turned around and marched to the soldiers who were attentive enough to plug into the work again without hinting that they were watching as well. 

Jungkook pulled his mask upwards and went inside the very first tent his eyes laid on.
