Continued...

Sneeze.

Jungkook's whole body shook as he sneezed and it forced his eyes to fly open. Last night, he finally fell asleep and had a good dream too where he took a walk with his Alpha on the Mashill mountain.

Jungkook turned on the couch and stared at his bed just to find it empty. But the memories of last night made him smile. He smiled to himself before sitting up and picking the blanket from the floor. He folded it and made his bed as well.

He found his veil and pulled it closer to his nose. Jungkook blushed as his veil was reeking the scent of his mate. Today will be a good day because Jungkook will be under this scent the whole day.

Almost skipping toes, Jungkook went to the bathhouse to get ready for the day.

He didn't understand why he was taking longer to get ready today but maybe his thumping heart understands. He wears the same hanfu as the day of the Blue moon. That day the Royal Omega praised him for looking good and natural so it won't hurt to wear it again.

He was all ready to go outside. The new mirror on the wall was reflecting his image for him to see. Jungkook glanced at himself before nodding and retreating to the door.

He was about to push it open but stopped. With blazing crimson cheeks, he walked back to the mirror and sat on the chair in front of it. He opened the drawer of the cabinet placed under it.

He bit his lips slowly but his heart raced when he found the thing he was looking for. On his second day in Eclipse, Jimin brought him tonnes of goodies. Jungkook gave away half of them back to Jimin but he treasured some of them.

And the lip lotion in his hand was one of them.

He never used it but he was mesmerised by the shuttle colour that lotion has. His hands trembled but opened the lid of the small container.

He rotated a finger on the surface with mild pressure. The Royal omega taught him how to apply it. With roaring heartbeats and shaky breaths, Jungkook put his finger on his lips and traced them slowly, just as faint cherries his lips got coloured.

He simmered the colour between his lips and dropped the lotion back into the drawer before pushing himself up from the chair. He breathed slowly and looked into the mirror.

His eyes held a panicked determination," Now two things are bound to happen while you stay here, Alpha. For you to ignore me and For me to find you. But I will win against both of them."

He held his fists to the mirror and cheered with a little 'fighting' for himself and his wolf.

Pulling down his veil over his face, Jungkook was ready for the day. Yet the crimson colour on his cheeks wasn't going away.

His Determination went on a long vacation as soon as he stepped into the hallway and his whole being became aware of the previous day, how Luna of Eclipse ran around without a veil and then threw himself on their King, so shamelessly.

Jungkook stilled and hid behind a long pillar when he was about to step down the stairs. He shook his head in utter embarrassment.

"Yesterday, can't you hold on for a few more minutes before jumping on our Alpha like a pup? It's so embarrassing to face anyone now, Kookie?" Jungkook whispered to his wolf.

"Yeah, I can say the same. I wasn't the one who was wailing historically while running a marathon around the castle." Kookie said and Jungkook hit his head on the pillar.

Fighting with his wolf is useless now, Jungkook knew. But he doesn't know how to deal with the situation. He sat on the floor and wriggled to the porch of the staircase just to peek at what was happening below.

Everything was normal. Some people were doing their usual work while guards were standing in their positions. However, there is a smile on everyone's face. Jungkook gulped thickly. What if everyone starts laughing as soon as he steps down? No, He would like to die instead.

He witnessed some ladies mopping the floor while their lips were moving in some conversation. Curious and terrified Jungkook decided to hear them. He closed his eyes and focussed on his wolf.

Soon his right ear puffed up into a white wolfy ear and Jungkook started hearing everything very clearly.

'Royal Alpha is back, I'm so happy.'

'I know, have you seen our Luna yesterday? Ah, my heart collapsed on the floor when I saw Luna crying.'

'I saw, Alpha was a little bit shocked too'

'It wasn't shocking but normal. They are mates. Imagine us separating from our mates for so long?'

'I would have made him starve for death.' One said, terrified.

The other giggled.

'Right. But our Alpha is doing everything for us. I feel bad sometimes that they wouldn't be able to spend enough time with each other while taking care of us.'

Jungkook smiled at the conversation of the ladies. He felt grateful to them for understanding. He is lucky that he has Eclipsers.

He was about to push off his ear back when he saw two teenage girls giggling while dusting. His ear focussed on them mindlessly.

'I wasn't in the main packhouse yesterday but I heard Alpha took Luna into his arms and carried him to his room.' One girl said while jumping on his toes, making the other girl almost shout.

'Yes, Yes I heard it too. I was so happy. I cried.'

'Me too. But I have news!.'

'What news?'

'That's only for your ears, okay? You are my mate.'

'Okay, shoot.'

'I think we are about to get a little Royal pup!!' The girl said excitedly while the other looked pale.

'Don't tell me I missed the night. THE NIGHT!!' The other shouted.

"Shh!! You know I was the last one to tie up the Royal kitchen so I heard.'

'What? what do you hear???'

'I heard a very horrific grunt, Misu. Trust me and that was from Alpha.' The girl was whispering now.

Jungkook covered his head into his arms while bustling himself into a burrito. 'Someone do some magic and made me disappear, please'. He was chanting.

The other girl gasped,' Did you hear screaming?'

But the girl shook his head,' No, there is no screaming.'

And suddenly Misu's shoulder slumped,' Then wake up from dreams cause nothing happened.'

'But Misu I heard the grunting of our Alpha!'

'You dumbo, I am an Alpha too. And while we mate, who screams the most, tell me?' Misu said.

'Me?'

'Then?'

'You mean?' The girl asked.

'I mean, my beloved Abbie, if in the heavens Alpha and Luna mated last night, the walls of the castle would have vibrated all night. Okay?'

Jungkook stood up and cut off the link right away. He pushed his face up and wiped the sweats on his forehead. He engulfed some fresh air and slowly his ear went back to normal. But his whole face was a mirroring image of a beetroot.

He went back to the pillar and hugged it. What should he do?

" Should I say I fell ill?" Jungkook asked his wolf, forgetting he was asking loudly.

'Yeah and made those girls believe that you are indeed -'

"Okay. Stop talking." Jungkook cleared his thoughts and went to think hard about the ways he could walk down the stairs without embarrassing himself.

He heard someone giggling behind him. He jerked away from the pillar and saw the Royal Omega holding his mouth to stop himself from laughing loudly.

"Hyungnim!" Jungkook scolded the omega slowly.

"Oh d-dear I w-was just pfftthaha' Jimin held his stomach and was about to topple over his hand but Jungkook stopped him.

"Hyungnim, don't laugh. At least, you should support me." Jungkook whined and pulled off his veil showing his innocent eyes.

Jimin cleared his throat and stood straight," Well, my support is always with you, Jungkookie. But I didn't know you would be jumping on Taehyung's throat as soon as he came back."

Jungkook looked down and fidgeted with the lapels of his hanfu," It... it wasn't in my control at that time. I lost control."

Jimin saw the almost pucker around Jungkook's lips and giggled again," I can understand. Don't worry, it happens. It wasn't your fault at all but it was Taehyung's fault at least for disappearing for so long. I assume His Majesty apologised?" He asked.

"Yeah, Alpha apologised. And Everything is good now. His scent soothes my worries and last night gave me another hope, hyungnim." Jungkook said, smiling brightly.

"Last night?" Jimin frowned and moved closer to Jungkook and sniffed him around. He gasped.

"You are reeking of my brother. What had happened? Don't you dare to spare the details?" Jimin said with wide eyes.

Jungkook giggled and told him everything and Jimin's eyes became shocked to moist very quickly.

"He slept? On your bed? While wrapped up in your veil?" Jimin asked again and Jungkook looked at the small finger Jimin pointed towards him.

"Yes, Hyungnim. I think Alpha was tired and it was the post days of his rut as well so..." Jungkook whispered but he didn't expect the Royal omega to hug him tightly.

"Oh Jungkookie, It's happening. It's finally happening. Oh, my brother, my Jungkookie." Jimin cried while hugging Jungkook.

Jungkook was confused but he hugged back nonetheless," Hyungnim, what happened?"

Jimin pulled back and smiled brightly through his tears," Your scent finally reached him. The first few accounts of your mate's scent cause deep slumber. Otherwise in no way Taehyung? The Royal Alpha would get defeated by some tiredness. It's impossible. I'm so happy."

He wiped away his tears and looked at Jungkook carefully," It had happened to you as well, remember? In the courtroom before your coronation and then after in your pavilion during Taehyung's first visit, you told me you fell asleep without knowing." Jimin rambled while explaining and Jungkook was nodding with him all along. He remembers everything.

"I remember hyungnim, I do," Jungkook assured him and calmed down the Royal Omega. Jimin was smiling so widely that his eyes disappeared behind his eyelids.

Jungkook felt a tug on his heart, does that mean that his Alpha was blocking him from the day they met for the first time. He smiled sadly but shook his head, no, he will not think about these things. He said he will wait....till eternity just to meet his mate at the end.

Jungkook hugged the Royal omega once again to hide his sadness and smiled while pulling away.

"So he slept on your bed, right?" Jimin asked while raising his eyebrows, somehow excited.

Jungkook nodded naturally," Yes, he did."

"So...?" Jimin moved closer and raised his brows again.

Jungkook frowned and shrugged a little," So?"

Jimin huffed," Don't tell me, like an obedient and mannered mate you take the couch?"

Jungkook pressed his lips in a thin line sheepishly," It was right to do, hyungnim. His Majesty needs his privacy."

The Royal omega scowled, "You fall under that privacy, you know. The way you latched on him during the evening, I thought-"

"Hyungnim! Shh please, don't shout." Jungkook said while looking around suspiciously.

"No one is here, Jungkookie. But you tell me, would you mind sleeping beside my brother if he pulled you with him on the bed?" Jimin asked suddenly.

Jungkook was taken aback by the question a little. He never thought about that aspect of their relationship yet.

Jimin watched how Jungkook's ears were turning red with each passing second and it made Jimin bit his own lip to not laugh, he was having so much fun teasing the younger.

Jungkook's mind went on overdrive because the image of the Alpha he held in his mind was full of affection and respect. He never thought about approaching the Royal Alpha intimately.

So he shook his head slowly.

"I think I will mind. Or you can say Alpha wouldn't have done anything like that at all." Jungkook said.

Jungkook saw the frown on Jimin's face and started explaining," I mean I have never thought of my mate from that perspective. So it wouldn't be comfortable but awkward for both of us. I would have denied it if that happened."

"What? You will deny your Alpha to sleep with him?" Jimin asked.

Jungkook nodded confidently and said," I might have. There are some things should be discussed between mates before-"

"Oh Your Majesty, Please accept my bow," Jimin said loudly while looking behind him and Jungkook stopped breathing altogether. His eyes were about to pop out of the sockets as he looked back at Jimin with horrified expressions.

Jimin smiled innocently at him. Jungkook gulped and squeezed his eyes shut. He turned around and bowed very deeply," We were just fooling around, Alpha. Never in my dreams, I will deny if you asked me to sleep while holding hands. We were just playing. Please, please accept my bow."

Jungkook's hand came forward and rubbed with each other, in the manner of pleading. Jungkook took his words back, this is not a good day, it's a bad day! This is not even a start and all blood in his body was already poured out on his face.

However, no reply came. Jungkook kept holding his posture but it became too long. He peeked up a little and there was...no one. No one at all as he looked around everywhere.

And then he heard. The sound of laughing...Jungkook closed his eyes and turned back at the Royal omega who was laughing while laying on the floor, holding his stomach.

"You are too mean, Jimin Hyungnim. I should tell Yoongi hyung that you aren't an angel but an angel in disguise!" Jungkook thundered on the omega who was still laughing on the floor, out of his breath now.

Suddenly Jimin stopped and stood up hurriedly," Wait a minute. Yoonie? Did he call me an angel? When? He never said that to me."

"Yoonie?" Jungkook gave him a dead look and pulled down his veil. He needs to get out of this conversation before Jimin starts expressing about how his whipped mates brought him a pot of honey when their own faces were bitten by hundreds of honeybees.

No, he is not going to listen to it when he needs to do much more. However, his eyes turned into fondness when Jimin followed him and kept asking about Yoongi.

"Jungkookie, please tell me about Yoonie. He is very shy around me. I will not tease you I promise. Does he really, really call me an angel?" Jimin was continuously asking and whining, avoiding Jungkook's veil carefully to not step onto it.

Jungkook walked out of the kitchen after a long conversation with the Royal Omega where he explained that from his childhood he had heard about an angel from Yoongi and when Jimin declared as his mate, He came to him to tell that he finally found his angel.

Jimin ran off blushing mindlessly just a few minutes ago so now Jungkook is free.

He walked into the hallway but as soon as he stepped inside, he found the Commander and the Royal Alpha walking towards him while emerging into a serious conversation.

Jungkook smiled and went towards them. Hoseok noticed him first and bowed," Your Empress."

Jungkook nodded towards Hoseok politely while bowing to the King," Alpha."

Taehyung curt a nod and three of them continued their walk towards the courtroom. Or as Jungkook thought. In the middle of the hallway, Alpha took a turn that was nowhere going close to the courtroom.

So he asked," Where are we going?"

The commander smiled and replied," After the war, there were some refugees who declared peace and wanted survival. His Majesty invited them to the main packhouse for further inspection."

Jungkook nodded his head and asked," And in what perspective would they be analysed as a pack member, Alpha?" He was genuinely curious about the topic.

Taehyung was looking ahead while walking. His head held high and some of his black wavy hairs fell on his forehead while some tied into a bottom knot over his nape, " Loyalty in people and respect of each rank made them eligible as a pack member."

Jungkook held the flinch inside him that he got from the voice of the Alpha. But maybe the Alpha noticed, he glanced at Jungkook a little before looking forward again.

The commander walks forward and seeing the commander walking toward them, the guards standing in front of the declaration hall opened the massive wooden doors of the hall.

"The Royal King and The Royal Empress of the Eclipse are coming inside the hall." The guard announced and people inside the hall stood up from their seats.

The Royal Alpha stepped inside along with the Royal Luna, Jungkook noticed there were only five people in total. Two children(omegas), one woman(omega) and Two men (Alphas). His wolves sniffed a little, a sharp plunger smell was coming from them, clearly refugees.

Taehyung stood on the centre porch where a Royal chair was placed, his hand in motion went towards the omega beside him, Jungkook held his hand and both of them strived the stairs effortlessly.

The Royal Alpha stood a little ahead on the porch, he was wearing a black turtleneck matching it with black trousers and a long black gown covering his suit up to his heels from behind. The gown has short stones and those were shining under the lightning of the declaration hall.

His gaze falls on the children first and then on the woman. He saw how the woman was holding one of the child's hands in her palm, stroking it gently. The other child was standing in the middle of the woman and the Alpha men, he was continuously looking around, utterly lost.

And then The Alphas, Taehyung can easily sense their emotions being that jealousy or vulnerability but he wanted to give a fair chance to all.

"Sit down." The Alpha commanded.

All of them took a seat. The woman sat on the chair and took the child on her lap. The Alphas sat individually and the other child sat beside one of the Alpha.

The commander remained standing in the middle of the porch and the chairs. The Alpha took a step back and went to the Royal chair but Jungkook doesn't expect a little touch on his back. He looked at his Alpha whose gaze was fixed at the chair. Jungkook immediately looked down and combined his vibrating hands before walking along with his Alpha.

Taehyung sat on the chair, his one foot resting on the footrest while another opened up as a seat for his mate. Jungkook twirled his veil behind the armrest of the chair and sat on the left thigh of the Alpha with a skipping breath.

He again felt the little touch behind his back but he controlled the shudder with his straight posture. Taehyung's back rested on the backrest, he brought his free hand on the other armrest and looked at the commander.

The commander nodded towards the King and turned to the refugees," One by one, Please remind us the reason why you wanted to be the member of Eclipse or be the member of any pack? While living so long as refugees what made you feel to join a pack so suddenly?" He asked.

The woman speaks up first," I want to raise my child without any hungry eyes around him. He is an omega, his father died during the war. I'm a warrior too. I can survive on my own but for my child, I want to join the pack."

The commander motioned his hands to the first Alpha," Introduce yourself and speak your reasons, Please."

The Alpha kept sitting and said," I am Alpha Kejung. I lost my battle and my companions. Practically, A single man can't conquer the wars anymore. So merging into a pack seems like a good option."

The other Alpha replied," I am Rylee. I lost my mate in the war." He becomes silent after that. But soon he spoke," So going through another one seemed thoughtless, winning a war while murdering someone's mate felt like I'm killing my mate. And it will be a shame on her. Until the separation from my mate ate me alive, I wanted to see the life of a pack."

The commander looked down in apology but his eyes went on the smallest one in the hall," Introduce yourself, young boy."

The boy was staring at the chandelier above his head, he looked at the commander with wide eyes," I am Yeopi. An omega."

"Why do you come here?"

It seemed like Taehyung knew the answers very well so his head turned a little away from the child. Jungkook noticed it.

"Mother" the boy stopped and blinked his wide eyes thrice," Mother told me to go with that man before going to the moon."

His little finger pointed at the Royal Alpha who nodded towards him and blinked his eyes in assurance.

"Why did your mother tell you to follow the King?" Hoseok asked.

The boy pulled his lips while thinking hard," Mother said he will give me food."

The commander smiled and whispered," Is your stomach full right now?" And the boy nodded his head vigorously.

The introduction and explanation were done. The time of the decision has come and the decision was on the tip of Taehyung's tongue from the beginning.

But he decides to play a little more. His bored eyes fell on the omega and with a thought in his mind he spoke," What would you do in this situation, Your Empress. If you get a chance to make the decision?"

Jungkook looked at his mate with wide eyes and then at the people. He has never taken any decision ahead of the Royal Alpha. But his mate asked for his opinion, with a little happiness in his heart, Jungkook decided to pour out his thoughts on the situation.

"Child Yeopi can join as a pack member but he needs proper education in the pack school. He is small, we can mould his nature into loyalty and teach him the ways of mannerism." Jungkook spoke while looking at his mate. Taehyung blinked his eyes in acknowledgement as if he knew the decision beforehand.

Jungkook looked at the woman and sighed slowly," A Mother can accept her defeat for her child but a warrior can never forget her revenge for a defeat. We can't accept you as a member and see you raise your child as a warrior against us. If You are actually a mother that is of course."

All of them looked at him while the Royal Alpha held an unreadable expression. His gaze was altered on the omega in his lap while Jungkook spoke confidently," A true mother loves all children equally. I was observing you for a while now and the way you behaved around your own child was too different with the way you ignore Yeopi. However, the smallest needed more care but you think with blood, not with sense."

"I apologise but your warrior spirit told me that you and your child can survive on your own really well, lady." The Royal Luna said.

Now Jungkook was looking at the Alphas," Kejung. Your scent speaks about your rank. There was no need for you to speak about your status in front of the king. It was mocking that got caught in your voice. Eclipsers die over their Royal Alpha; there is no need for any starred Alpha at all."

"And lastly Rylee. We can offer you a position in the warrior wing but living as a normal wolf in the pack can trigger your Alpha side while looking at the mated couples. Eclipse is full of lovers so it will be hard on you if you live among the locals. I leave this decision to you, whether you want to join as a warrior or be packless will be your decision ."

The commander was stunned to hear the decision so fair and clear. He looked at the Royal Alpha who was looking at his mate with a low gaze. His expressions were as blank as always but hoseok can swear he saw fondness in those grey eyes.
