The very next day, Jungkook didn’t know he would meet with a completely empty hallway which was deprived of his Alpha’s presence. Without wasting any moment, Jungkook approached the Royal Omega. Jimin sounds sad when he explains with his half sleepy voice, why the Royal alpha came back so suddenly and after finishing his work in Eclipse, he went for his duties. 

Jungkook felt sad, he would not lie. At least Alpha should have given him a chance to say farewell but then his mind wandered to the previous night, he realised that maybe Alpha’s fur coat was his present of separation. Sometimes, Alphas do that. In the time of urgency, they left some token as a promise to come back and went away without any word.

Jungkook sulked a little but as soon as his eyes fell on the people of Eclipse, a big smile made its way on his lips. Everybody was happy, why wouldn’t they? Their Royal Prince found his mates, the two strongest and kindest Betas, it was the moment of celebration and Eclipsers celebrates it by their goofy nature.

Elders and neighbouring packs sent the Royal Prince tons of gifts while eclipsers showered them with their incomparable blessings. Everyone was happy so Jungkook was too.

A day after the celebration Jungkook rejoined the courtroom and granted his permission to the troopers to build their houses near the border of territories. He remembered his Alpha’s words and went to the Central Royal Library to hunt for the required book that will help him with proficiency in all supplied ratios.

With a jaw hanging under his veil, Jungkook entered the library. The library indeed speaks Royalty. Books to books, shelves to shelves were aligned in the most perfect way and true to his Alpha's words he indeed finds the book he was searching for, exactly at the place his Alpha told him.

“Annual Grants.” The book contains five different volumes. It will take a lot of time to read them but Jungkook didn't want to delay anymore. He looked behind and said to the guard,” Kindly wait outside and make sure no one can enter. If Hyungnim asked for me, Please say I am here.” That doesn’t sound like an order but more of a request. Jungkook was still learning how to order someone but he was sorely lacking.

The guard bowed before going outside the library. He closed the door behind him and stood beside the door with attentive eyes all around.

Jungkook looked around one more time before discarding his crown on the nearby desk and then lifting his veil over his head. He was wearing pastel lime hanfu today. He sat on the chair and opened the first volume of the book.

The book was filled with incredible formulas and explanations, it contains 200 types of foods and their certain distributed amounts among the folks. For each month, the supply was different. The book was written beautifully, in a way that anyone who has some knowledge of calculations can understand. The book absorbed Jungkook’s entire attention.

He took one complete week and two days to finish all the volumes. Jimin tried to disturb him in between so that he can take some rest but in his sleep as well, Jungkook was solving the facts as to how an extra sack of grain can make a huge difference in distribution.

Black ink was gliding on the blank page as Jungkook was solving the last proportion for supplies. His fingertips and front lapels have black ink marks but these were the least concern of him. Jungkook sighed when he finished everything but he still had some doubts.

He made an extra list of words that he couldn't understand at all. The words were old like his Alpha had written it in a very different saga. 

‘Should I ask Alpha or should I read the books again?’ Jungkook was in the middle of confusion as he closed the last book. But the last page caught his eyes. He opened the book again and saw a new vocabulary had been established on the last ten pages.

With a light delightful gasp, he learnt each and every word of the new vocabulary. In the last few days, he has discovered many new things about Eclipse. The biggest thing was that Eclipse has no currency for their pack. No currency, no greed to earn more, no competition between werewolves. All pack members grow their crops, whatever it is and submit it to their Alpha, no matter what amount. Doesn’t matter if anyone submitted only an ounce or some submitted tons, all of them will get equal food ratios throughout the year, monthly.

This way, the members get more time with their mates and pups. There was no greed in folks because every person has the same luxury as the other. Life seems so peaceful. All people work together for themselves and the pack selflessly.

Jungkook was smiling widely when he put the books back on their shelves. It's like he conquered a big fort as a warrior but in reality, he only solved his Alpha’s handwritten mysterious calculation.

And one more thing…. His Alpha has the most beautiful handwriting he has ever seen.

He stood up from the chair and took out the wooden pencil from his hairs that he instinctively placed there to keep his hair all the way up so that they wouldn't disturb him during his study session.

Placing the crown over his veil, Jungkook went out of the Royal Library. He was feeling excited and anyone can feel it in the sliding trail of his veil as how their Luna is feeling happy.

The guards bowed and Jungkook nodded in acknowledgement. Jungkook wanted to meet the Commander immediately so that they could distribute the supplies without any more delay.

These days Jungkook doesn't know which moment of the day it is, so it wasn't his fault when he couldn't determine that it's actually the night hours.
As soon as he took a turn from the hallway, his presence met the Commander of Eclipse. Hoseok bowed and stood some respectful distance away from their Luna. 

“I was looking for you, Hoseok hyung,” Jungkook said.

With furrowed eyes, Hoseok replied,” Is everything good, Luna? Does Your Empress need something?”

“No no, I don't need anything. I completed my survey today and I was looking for you so that we can organise the courtroom and distribute the awaited supplies to the eclipsers.” Jungkook told Hoseok who was looking at him with bewildered eyes.

“But Luna...It's Night outside. Would it be okay if we organise the courtroom tomorrow morning? Or I can make an announcement now.” Hoseok was quick on his steps but Jungkook stopped him.

“No, wait…” With surprised eyes, Jungkook looked around and indeed, it was darkness surrounded outside the packhouse. He sighed and shook his head, with a sheepish smile he apologised to the commander,” Im sorry, Hyungnim. I didn't realise it was night time or I would not disturb you.”

“It's fine, Your Empress. But I think you need rest after reading and understanding that book. Solving that book….is not an easy task.” Hoseok said, still trying to hide the surprise in his eyes.

The choice of words made Jungkook confused,” Meant? I am feeling fine though.” 

“Are you sure, Luna?”

‘Yes, I am.” Jungkook did not understand why there was a hint of doubtness in the Commander’s voice. ‘What happened, Hyung? Is something wrong?”

Hoseok breathed out and shook his head with a smile,” Nothing is wrong, Your Empress. It's just before you...Before you no one was able to understand that book, solving it was more of a problem.”

Jungkook looked at him and turned around, clearly not believing him. But Hoseok was determined, he followed Jungkook. 

“I am telling the truth, Your highness. Many Wisers, Superiors and even Healers visited Eclipse in past years just to understand the theories and equations of that book but no one has ever reached the mysterious solutions except His Majesty as the book itself was written by him.” Hoseok explained.

“But it didn't feel like that hard to me. I just followed the steps mentioned by His Majesty, it was written pretty accurately.”

Hoseok stared at Jungkook as if he was speaking some foreign language but then composed himself quickly,” Wow thats...I mean you are exceptional, Your Empress.”

They have reached the staircases that will lead Jungkook to the Royal hallway and he knew the Commander is not allowed to go there, not yet. So he stopped there to finish his talk.

“How? Why are you talking in puzzles, Hyungnim?”

The commander’s hunched shoulders relaxed and he replied,” Actually, Once I had tried to read that book as well when His Majesty was on his trip. I failed miserably and then from the Royal Prince I got to know that it's impossible to solve that book, many tried before me but there was no profit.”

A sudden strange feeling spread inside Jungkook and he felt interested to know more.

“When His Majesty returned, I dared to joke if it was possible to solve and understand that book. Although The King said ‘yes, yes it is possible but not by you’. Now I get what Royal Alpha meant that day.” Hoseok said with a wide heart shaped smile on his face, it somehow felt teasing.

But Jungkook was still confused,” Then by who?” he asked.

“Isn't it clear now? His Majesty must have been talking about the fated mates and Your Empress finally proved him correct. If Royal Alpha would be here, he would indeed feel proud.” Hoseok said.

Tingles spread all over Jungkook and everything around him gives sparkles of happiness to his heart. Proud? Is it even...Is it even real? Could this really happen?

The answer was only with one person who apparently wasn't present here but it didn't stop Jungkook from blushing brightly. His veil has become his best friend by now, always saving him from these moments.

He smiled subconsciously imagining a proud expression on his Alpha’s face...because of him. He looked up to Hoseok but the commander was busy gazing towards the upstairs...or especially towards someone’s room.

Jungkook bites his lips when a mischievous grin spreads on his lips. He cleared his throat and brought the commander’s attention back to him. Hoseok was quick to look around and rubbed his nape embarrassingly. But Jungkook wasn't going to let it slide. Why is everyone always the one to tease him? He can tease too.

“By the way Hyungnim, Why are you trolling around the packhouse at this hour? Did you have some work?”

“What? N-no Luna...I mean Yes. Yes, I was at my last round of packhouse. It's my night routine, Your Empress.” Hoseok said, his eyes flicked towards the stairs again.

“Oh..”Jungkook nodded, enjoying the flustered expressions of the Commander.

“Was it really the night rounds or you wanted to wish good night to someone special, Hyungnim?” Jungkook raised his eyebrows yet no one could see it.

The commander became red as beetroot. He parted his lips to say something but Jungkook beat him into it.

“Cause if that was the case, I can allow you to go up there. You are the Royal Prince’s mate after all.” Jungkook teased.

Hoseok’s eyes filled with awe in pure adoration,” Is it possible, Your Empress?”

Jungkook giggled and nodded his head,” Of course. We need to keep Prince Jimin happiest all the time. He had seen enough loneliness in his life.”

The Commander frantically nodded his head in affirmation like a child. “Ah Yes but… May I… Is Yoongi allowed too? Actually we both wanted to wish Prince Jimin a peaceful night. That's all.”

“Well...Where is Yoongi hyung?”

The Commander whistled in a very different tone and magically Yoongi’s head popped from behind the third pillar. Jungkook snorted wondering from when he was hiding like this.

Yoongi walked toward the duo with a red face, after all, they both got caught by their Luna. Their plan had failed.

“You both are allowed to go into the Royal hallway. There is no need for any hesitation. Jimin Hyung's room is towards the left and mine is towards the right. It's a completely different path, so don't worry.” Jungkook said.

Both Betas paid their respect to their Luna as Jungkook strode the stairs and went towards his room. Both of them looked at each other and with combined hands, they climbed the stairs and turned to the left.

“Have you brought the flowers?” Hoseok whispered in Yoongi’s ears when they reached outside the Royal omega’s hallway.

“Yes, But I bought for myself only.” Yoongi grinned when he heard a betrayed gasp from his mate.

“And why is that?” Hoseok asked when he saw Yoongi taking out only one red flower from his pocket.

“Because I need to impress him, You don't.”

With a wide open mouth in surprise, the Commander followed his mate who is about to knock on the Royal Omega’s room.

Jimin was inclined outside the window, staring at the moon. His eyes were not holding the old loneliness but a very different emotion. The past week was very difficult for the poor omega. Jimin was unable to believe what was real and what was his hallucination. But in the end, Both Betas were very determined to make him believe the reality in the softest way possible. They never left him alone, one of them always wandering around him to make him comfortable around their scents.

But along with his happiness, Jimin realised one more thing. That his brother is still alone. All by himself. And he knew by the fact that his brother will not accept Jungkook any time soon. He needs to do something, he needs to invade some of his brother’s decisions.

He looked at the moon and prayed with the purest thought,” I am starting something unsure, I don't know what will happen and what not. But I need to sow some thoughts as seeds in Jungkook’s head so that he will be prepared. For my brother, for Jungkook, for their future….their past needs to be present between them.”

“And You…”

“You need to be with me. Half of this mess is created by you, I hope you take the responsibility for that. Give Jungkook your utter strength, I promise I will not take any further steps in my life before my brother accepts Jungkook by heart. Kim Jimin will get marked by his mates on the same day when Kim Taehyung will mark his mate.” The determination in Jimin’s voice contains the strength of centuries.

“I swear by you…Moon goddess.” Jimin closed his eyes and sealed his promise. His thoughts got disturbed when a few knuckles thumbed on the door creating a very soothing noise to his ears.

His mates. Jimin can sense them now. His wolf can feel the bond towards both of them. He closed the window and smiled at the mirror before fixing himself lightly, he doesn't know why nowadays he started feeling insecure about his looks. He never goes outside to see his mates without pampering his skin and combing his hair beautifully.

Jimin reached the knob and opened the door. There...his mates standing with familiar soft eyes towards him, Jimin looked down for a moment. Even if he was way older than them, they always make him beyond a blushing mess. 

“How come you guys came from the door today?” Both Betas were still looking starstruck at the omega in front of him. It wasn't their fault though, Ever since Jimin started wearing colourful clothes only Yoongi knows how many bumps his head had and how many cuts the Commander gets from his sword and all of this because they certainly get distracted from their gorgeous omega.

And today Jimin was wearing a dark orange hanfu, his black hair falling over his shoulders creating a maze that both Betas wanted to resolve. Their eyes were roaming from the Royal omega’s head to his toe, they weren't looking at Omega’s face or they would witness how crimson Jimin’s cheeks were turning as time passed by.

With heart in his eyes, the Betas were still standing at the door. Thankfully Yoongi noticed the flustered face of his omega and nudged Hoseok slightly in his ribs. The commander blinked rapidly and composed himself,” A-ah yes, His Empress caught us today and after that, he permits us to walk into the Royal Hallway upto Your highness’s chamber. So we decided to come from the door instead of the window.”

Jimin nodded and took some steps back into the room to let his mates enter his chamber. Yoongi didn't waste a moment and stretched his hand towards the Royal Omega. The petals of the red rose were blooming just like Jimin’s blushy smile. Jimin accepted the flower while whispering a little thankyou and Yoongi knew his heart would need pumping after that.

Three of them got indulged in their usual night talks easily. The commander suggested a week ago that it will be beneficial if all of them spend some time talking and getting to know each other. It would be better for their wolves and their bonds as well. So as per their routine, Both Betas continued to come to Jimin’s chamber to talk, just talk. And Jimin treasured these times very preciously.

But today Jimin has something to share, It’s about his past. After suffering for a week with his own emotions, Jimin decided that his mates deserve to know all about him.

“I...I want to share something today, about...about my past.” Jimin said, subconsciously wrapping his hands around his waist, protecting himself from his haunting past.

Yoongi looked at the Commander and then at his omega,” What is it, Your Highness? We are here to hear whatever you need to say.”

The commander nodded too. Jimin sighed and sat on his bed, making his mates sit on the side chairs as well. “But there is one more person that deserves to know. Let me call him here.” 

Hoseok looked at Yoongi while Jimin closed his eyes to mind link Jungkook.

Jungkook was about to reward himself from sniffing his Alpha’s fur coat after working hard for a week straight, he will be able to sleep peacefully today. But before his hands could touch the soft furs of the coat that was laid on his bed beautifully, he heard Jimin’s voice in his head.

‘Jungkookie, if I am not disturbing you, could you please come to my chamber? I need to tell you something important. My mates are here as well.” 

Jungkook pressed his lips in a thin line thinking what his hyung wanted to tell them at this hour, but he replied mindlessly.

“I will be there in a moment, hyungnim.” 

Jungkook took the fur coat in his hand and brought it close to his nose. With a little whiff of Taehyung's scent, Jungkook’s eyes start shining with lonely tears. It's always like this, his wolf always groans in sadness whenever Jungkook touches his Alpha’s clothes. 

Jungkook smiled lightly and whispered some words in his head. May my Alpha be safe in his journey.

Jungkook was sitting on Jimin's bed, facing the Royal omega who was looking down picking some little fabrics from the bedsheets. Jimin was looking worried, concerned and nervous. Jungkook looked at his mates who were only looking at Jimin with worried eyes. 

Jungkook smiled under his veil, he discarded his crown in his room but decided to keep his veil with him. He gestured at the Betas and then towards Jimin.

And within a moment, The commander was behind Jimin with his hand on his shoulder and Yoongi took a seat beside him on the bed. 

Jimin squeezed Hoseok's hand back and looked up finally," The tale which I am going to tell now, is 1700 years old but there are some things which you all should know."

Jungkook nodded and fisted his veil in anticipation because Yoongi had mind linked him that Jimin was about to tell something about his past.

"There is nothing to be afraid of." Jimin smiled to lighten up the environment but his eyes told something different.

"I just wanted to tell you all about myself. I can't say anything about my brother as it's his part to explain but I hope I will not exhaust you more." Jimin reached toward Jungkook's hand and squeezed it in comfort.

"Don't worry, Hyungnim. I am all here to go 1700 years back with you." Jungkook smiled.

Jimin nodded and with one last look at his mates, he started saying," The former Royal Luna of Eclipse meant my mother had suffered from black plague in his childhood. Due to this, his immunity became very weak with his age. When my father, The former Royal Alpha found my mother he decided to take care of him properly. My mother recovered well with the help of the pack healer but his chances of becoming pregnant became less too."

"The pain he endured while delivering me was nothing like other omegas that survived in that century. That's when my father decided that he doesn't want any more children, an omega… meant I will be the next hire of Eclipse. But the Superiors said that the future of Eclipse should be written by an Alpha because Eclipse holds some darkness that will not be suitable for my fragile hands."

"And I still thank that superior because he was right in that situation and without him, my mother will never persuade my father for another child. And we all will not be able to see our Royal Alpha Kim Taehyung." Jungkook shredded in goosebumps when the name of his Alpha fell out of Jimin's lips. He went in a daze, completely spent in the Royal omega's words, wanting to know more.

"When my little brother was born, I still remember how his innocent grey eyes took every foggy cloud away from Eclipse. He was very loud in his childhood but it made everything more lively and vibrant. His presence only filled colours in the nameless skies. Our duo was the best unit in the world." Jimin said excitedly like the moments were still alive inside him but then his smile slipped away," At least he used to say that."

He shook his head and started again," I was a very clumsy child always rolling on my tummy on the floor after slipping and it made Taehyung very protective of me from his childhood." Jimin decided to ignore how hoseok whispered, you are still clumsy.

"As soon as we stepped into adulthood, it was very exciting. We were about to find our mates.." Jimin stopped himself there and Jungkook's breath got stuck. 

Jungkook never thought about that before but now staring at Jimin's motionless form he started questioning himself. Does Royal Alpha have a mate before me? 

Jungkook doesn't know why but his heart felt like bleeding, a piercing pain rose in his head making him take a sharp inhale. Was there anyone before me that wore his veil for him? 

His mind and heart start racing, if he can recall properly Jimin never mentioned any past mate of his Alpha before. Because if that was the case Jimin, his hyungnim would have told him.

Jungkook collected himself when he heard Jimin's voice again.

"But sometimes it's not necessary that our every assumption will be true. Everything fell apart, someone's mistake, someone's foolishness, someone's betrayal, someone's self-esteem, someone's selfishness, someone's stubbornness...killed everything." The shocking eyes of three persons were staring at the Royal omega.

"After that Taehyung banned the former Royal Alpha of Eclipse and my mother followed his mate. And the downfall of Eclipse became lawless. I was beyond terrified when one night I saw Taehyung sleeping in his own pool of blood." Jimin got interrupted by the harsh gasp from the omega seated against him. Jungkook had his hand over his mouth to stop his actions but he was late.

"At that time, I didn't know what I should do. Because...Taehyung is immune to any healings. No matter what medicine I used on him, his body never reacted to them. I know from my childhood that my brother has many abilities and every speciality has its own curse too. And his curse is that his body never reacts to healings, it would heal on its own proportional time." The Royal omega's eyes were damped now.

"I saw my brother laying lifeless for days. No motion, no breathing, just blood flowing out of his wounds. At that time, Eclipse wasn't as secure as it is now. Our every rival and competitor was standing at the bay of Eclipse territories to just invade inside. I thought that if the news of injured Royal Alpha spread around the world, it would not take any time for them to destroy Eclipse. So...so I decided to… to lie."

The first tear slipped out of Jimin's eyes and Yoongi didn't hold back himself from caressing his hand. 

Jungkook was breathing heavily, his instinct was telling him to just run off and saw his mate doing all well with his eyes but he knew he shouldn't. Jungkool controlled his wolf to not whimper in pain.

"I lied to everyone that Taehyung is all well and just went on hunting. Soon people started asking for their King continuously and I always had to make excuses for his lack of presence. I took care of all courtroom work and did everything that was in my possession but there was no hope in Taehyung's survival."

"Not until his own will to survive came back. Taehyung breathed when some pups got lost in the Royal hallway and jumped on his torso until he opened his eyes. Their little cries in pain and fear made him realise that his purpose in living his life is Eclipse's safety as well. He went unconscious again but he was no longer losing blood." 

Jungkook released a deep breath that he was holding for a long time. His cheeks were damp but now he knows why his Alpha had such a special bond with Eclipsers.

"Meanwhile I was still lying to everyone… In my opinion, I was saving Eclipse but In the elder's opinion, it was a sin. Lying...was a sin. When our Grandsire came on a surprise visit, I was beyond scared and he sniffed it.  It didn't take him long and he found out about Taehyung's health." Jimin gasped for air when his sobs went higher.

"He punished me. F-for lying."

"He cursed me with something that was a nightmare of every wolf. In return for lying... I got a curse of never having any mate…." Jimin felt his mates supported his back and caressed it, showing their presence beside him. Jimin was thankful for that. 

Jungkook was in shock. How could a grandfather curse his own grandson?

"I accepted my fate and Grandsire went back. I didn't let that curse affect my life, I was happy that my brother was finally returning back to life but the day he stood up on his feet and sensed his all surroundings…

…. he killed the Grandsire." 

The Betas gasped this time but didn't say anything, grasping the sensitivity of the situation. 

"It was a huge offence against immorality but Taehyung did that without any strings on his forehead. The whole world trembled but no one went against Taehyung because they knew he was right. Grandsire misused his ability by cursing me without thinking twice and Taehyung made him pay for it." 

Jimin wiped his face yet anyone could see the sadness in his eyes. Jungkook was thrilled because of all the things Jimin unravelled in front of him.

"But The man who stood up from the death bed wasn't like Taehyung anymore. My little brother was changed completely and ever since then he was just living for Eclipsers. Generations changed but the love of Eclipsers for Taehyung is still the same. "

Jimin clutched Jungkook's hands tightly and pleaded desperately," And then you came into his life. Jungkook you are… you are my only hope to bring my brother back to me. Your Alpha...Your Alpha is not like any other Alpha Jungkook who will adore his omega in the end, no matter what. He will not get attracted to you nor will he ever let you cross the boundaries."

Jungkook's heart stopped at that.

"What…"

Jimin nodded his head, tears rolling down on his cheeks," My brother hates affection. This all seems fake to him, a lie. I am telling you this because at some point it's a possibility that Taehyung might break your heart but please… Please hold onto him. Don't leave him behind." Again…

Jungkook shook his head denying such possibilities.

"Be yourself, Jungkookie… Just yourself. Win him by your thoughts, your doings, your selflessness, your loyalty, your smartness, your maturity… Time will help you. I will help you. But please never take steps behind him." 

"Because the day you will want to leave… Taehyung will let you go. So hold onto him." 

Jungkook was crying now, his wolf felt a very strange pain in his heart. 

"Hyungnim… Alpha is my mate. M-my entire being is the witness of my admiration and loyalty towards him. I am his so… he has to be mine." Jungkook whispered the last words and Jimin embraced him.

The Commander wound his arms around Yoongi who had very concerned eyes towards the omegas. 

"He will… He will be yours. Maybe not now but Kim Taehyung is made only for Kim Jungkook." Jimin caressed Jungkook's back, calming him down before pulling away.

"And I will help you with everything I have. I-"

"We. We will help Luna, my eyes are waiting for the moment when I will see His Majesty's smile for the first time. I have never seen it." Hoseok said.

Yoongi nodded and put his hand on Jungkook's head," Don't worry, Hyung is here, yeah?" 

Jungkook nodded his head. He knows his Alpha will never hurt him but maybe he needs to be more careful. He will take care of his Alpha, he will bring him back. He doesn't know why but his heart aches whenever he sees his Alpha's blank eyes. He will put stars in them and those stars will be the witness of their love. Jungkook promised that.

"Let His Majesty come back once… And we will make sure he will not go away leaving our Luna behind." Hoseok teased and that brought a small smile on Jungkook's face.

"I told you everything that I could. The curse is lifted now and I got my mates but I want you and my brother happy as well. Never think before asking for my help, I am always here." Jimin said and Jungkook raised his hand to wipe Jimin's tears.

"I will fight to the fate if I had to, hyungnim but I will not leave my mate," Jungkook said and Jimin's eyes shined with happiness. He was seeing something very beautiful in Jungkook's eyes….love...love for his brother. He giggled and hugged Jungkook again.

Jungkook pulled away and asked hesitantly," Hyungnim, when will Alpha come back?" 

Jimin sighed and shook his head," I don't know, Luna. Sometimes his trips were longer than a year, sometimes he visited for hours before going back. He only knows how to work...it's like his body is functioning just for that. I don't know the exact duration of his journey."

"The King is in the southern-east right now. The Incharge of the Mystic shadow mind linked me today. After that, His Majesty will go to the western-east and someone informs His Majesty that refugees of TugHill were creating fuss at the boundaries of Angist Wit Pack." The Commander notified them with the information he had early today.

"Refugees? Will there be any war?" Jungkook asked.

"Maybe. If they weren't going back to their Hills, they would face His Majesty's wrath beca-" Jimin cut off the Commander in between.

"Because Taehyung doesn't like refugees."  He finished his sentence making Hoseok smile at him and nodded his head.

"Let's hope there will be no war. In this way, Taehyungie will be back early." Jimin prayed and Jungkook sighed in emptiness.

His mind was still going back to the story Jimin just told him. What would be the situation that made Royal Alpha like this? What had happened back then?

Jungkook, the past never brought happiness. We should focus on our present and future. We will make our Alpha comfortable around us. Kookie said with a new enthusiasm in his voice.

Three months passed and war broke out in the western-east. It has become a routine for Jungkook to visit Commander Hoseok every evening to know the whereabouts of his Alpha. And from the past one month, he was only receiving a polite smile with a few words like…..

His Majesty is good, Luna… Royal Alpha will take care of himself. Don't worry, Luna….The war is about to end Luna, refugees always hide in their Hills before coming back to war again but this time His Majesty decided to direct strike on the Hill...Mystic shadow is with the King, our Royal Alpha is not alone Luna…

But what should Jungkook do with his heart that always starts palpitating in thoughts of his Alpha. He wants to be with his Alpha, in the war not here. But his duties for Eclipse were refusing him to break the boundaries.

Jungkook walked into his room and like a body in motion, his hands went to his Alpha's closet and took out the fur coat. Jungkook hugged it and rubbed his face into it. The scent was wearing off making Jungkook more anxious day by day.

He starts feeling suffocated in his own chamber so he decides to wander on the top patio of the main packhouse.  He informed the Royal Omega and went to the terrace.

He looked till the horizon of the sky...till his eyes brought him the vision but there was no sign of his Alpha. The terrace of the castle was calm, being so high that every other noise waned around it. 

Jungkook felt grateful. He needs this peace. He looked around carefully before grabbing his veil and lifted his veil over his head and sat on the small rug, placed in the middle of the terrace. His fingers were threading the furs, combining them into one direction then in another.

Meanwhile miles away…

In the middle of war barracks, Taehyung was sitting on the ground with his back inclined on Artax who was too sitting beside his master. The war ended today.

There was a commotion behind him, soldiers were clearing the space for their celebration today.

"Now no one would dare kidnap our omegas, these refugees served hell." One of them was saying while sweeping the ground and another one was picking the broken daggers and arrows.

There were tons of soldiers but they were working silently, not wanting to disturb their Alpha who just decided to sit down after so long.

The night fell and all the soldiers took place around their King… sitting beside him. Some soldiers were serving food, some were serving drinks around them. But no one disturbed Taehyung… they all were admiring his solitude, closed eyes, inclined on his horse...their King looked peaceful.

But in the war, he was the opposite of any word like peace. Their King slaughtered every refugee that stepped inside the territory of Mystic shadow. 

Their King wasn't even looking tired, his clothes were as clean as before the war. A red stone in his right ear shining along with his few rings. His eyes were closed though and no one knows if the Royal Alpha was sleeping or just resting.

Time passed and soldiers were looking at each other hesitantly, nudging in between may be wanting to say something.

But before any one of them built any courage to open his mouth, Taehyung's voice heard," What is it?"

All of them flinched finding the Royal Alpha looking at them but got relaxed because they knew their King meant no harm.

One of the omega piped up," Your Majesty, as you know, we all live far from Eclipse and couldn't come to the celebration of welcoming our Luna. Some of us went there and they haven't stopped bragging since then."

This time a Beta surged his thoughts," We don't live in Eclipse now due to widening of the population but we have the curiosity to know about our Empress as well." 

"Yes, Your Majesty. Please tell us something about our Luna, we can't come at once to visit the Empress because of our duties." Another omega said.

"How is our Empress, Your Majesty? His Nature? I heard the Empress is as gorgeous as the first ray of sun. Is that true? My mother said they never saw someone this beautiful." A teenage girl who was serving the food asked directly.

"And not to forget, I heard the Empress is skilled in all kind of weapons." The soldiers joined the debate as well. 

Taehyung sighed and leaned comfortably on Artax and looked at his people who were now bickering with each other while making praises for someone who isn't even present here.

Taehyung stopped when he felt something poking his back. He pulled away from Artax's saddle and caressed him with his hand. His hand stopped when he felt something inside the saddle. 

In Artax's brown saddle there was a little pocket for small harnesses, Taehyung dug his hand dipper into the pocket, collecting something in his fingers before pulling out his hand.

White pearls. 

Small while pearls, Taehyung sniffed them and he knew from whom they belonged. He tilted his head wondering how these found a place inside his horse's saddle. 

He went back to his previous position, rolling the pearls in between his fingers until a gasp was heard from the folks.

"These pearls look so delicate. Do they belong to our Luna? His Majesty, please tell us about our Empress. Anything." Other people and even the soldiers started requesting as well and Taehyung thought he needed to learn something in future that is how to deny his people.

But for now, he needs to complete their wish. And for that he needs to look into his mind, needs to watch what their Empress was doing so that he could tell them what they want to hear.

"Keep silent. I need to focus to see your Luna. " As soon as his voice rang in the barracks, high throat squeals and howls were heard in the background before a deathly silence fell on the ground. 

Taehyung closed his eyes and the whole Mystic shadow held their breaths. Soon some Betas start blowing the flutes they made from the nearby bamboo trees. The omega's start humming with the soothing tone making the night more memorable.

All of them were looking at their King and their faces blinded with huge smiles when the first words fell out from the Royal Alpha's lips. They didn't expect that their King would reward them with his mellifluous voice too.

"On the roof, He is removing his veil quietly...
It’s an evening and I am observing this silently….

His low gaze and the most beautiful intimations of his red hairs…
Maybe, they are sending me a message quietly…

Taehyung opened his eyes just to witness the folks looking at him in adoration. Ignoring them he looked down, his blank eyes staring at the white pearls in his hand and he heard the same words that were resonating in his mind from the past three months.
