• thought to have had settlers around 4000 BC
• around 300 BC the Celts spread across Ireland
• 600 AD Christianity spread across Ireland
end of the 8th and beginning of the 9th century vikings invade and begin to settle in Ireland
• around 988 AD vikings founded Dublin
• Vikings defeated by "High King of Ireland" Brian Boru around 1014 AD and the vikings influence faded
• around the 12th century came the Normans, who built castles, churches, and increased agriculture and commerce in Ireland
• around 1534 Henry VIII declared himself the head of the church and King of Ireland
• 1791 the United Irishmen was formed to try and bring the Irish people together and reduce British rule
• 1798, Armed Rebellion. failed in 1801
• 1801, Act of Union was passed uniting Ireland politically with Britain
• 1845, The Great Famine.
• April 24, 1916: Easter Rising. Ireland rebels against Britain.
• April 30, 1916: rebels surrender and many leaders and participants of the rebellion were executed
• 1919: War of Independence. Ireland rebels against Britain.
• 1921: treaty signed by Ireland and Britain; Ireland gains independence
• 1922: Northern Ireland established
• 1922-1923: Civil War
• 1937: Constitution re-established state as the Republic of Ireland
• 1973: Ireland joins what is now known as the European Union
• 1980's: economy went into recession and many Irishmen emigrated to the United States of America and Australia

Description: pale skin tone, freckles, light red-brown shoulder length hair parted in the middle, light green-hazel eyes, and a lean yet athletic build. He normally wears a black T-shirt, old worn-out jeans, dark brown hiking boots, open green plaid button up shirt (over T-shirt), brown belt, and a cross necklace.

Personality: stubborn, adventurous, hardworking, wary, slightly introverted, and iron-willed. But can also be kind, family-oriented, protective, mirthful, and inquisitive.

Other: is able to cook any traditional Irish dish (which is the opposite of Arthur's cooking), is a good aim, and usually hides his true feelings with a tough front (though it can fall around certain people). He is very capable of using magic, though is not inclined to do so without reason, and has many magical/mythical friends, most notably a Leprechaun named Conall, a nameless Olliphéist, and many Fae.
