"Y/S/N to Watchtower." I repeat one more time, more or less irritated than before; "Y/S/N to Watchtower!" Stuck in between chaos and panic, I slip into the lounge hoping to find the authoritative Atlantean, friendly cheeky Martian. Just someone, anyone. Mt. Justice was on fire. Legitamently engulfed in flames. I reach the common ground where the Team hung out, for birthday celebrations, discussions, etc. The lounge was where we could all be kids, then we'd be called by Batman to the Comm Room for a mission. Not a single thing seemed in place, M'gann's freshly baked cookies were completely scattered on the floor. Y/S/N could only think something bad had happened to her.
Every other day, I would enter the cave, everything completely normal. But this time, the first thing I noticed was that everything was abnormal. I saw fog when the first thing I'd usually see would be Robin beating someone while the rest trained with Black Canary. A smile would appear on my face and a slight blush. He'd be too focused to notice, but every once in a while he'd look in my direction. I expected the same thing today, but instead, I received a wave of fog and suddenly, it covered me. Not just me, the fog covered every surface, making it explicitly difficult to see anything far. Yet, the fire from afar was enough light for my eyes to see my teammates planted on the Comm Room floor, hopefully only unconscious.
Something was completely wrong, I couldn't near them, If I did, an electric barrier would block the way, I couldn't get past it. I'd receive shocks of electricity as a friendly reminder to stop trying.
Climbing up cold metal vents and secret passageways were where I was at now. The loneliness was slowly rising like vomit, my teammates could be dead and I'd be the last one to die. Just like in the horror movies. I needed to get out of here, get help some way, but then I could fight, stand a chance long enough against what ever was doing this. I brushed the thoughts away. Even if I had to comply with a plan, I couldn't think about it. It'd just remind me of my teammates, it'd just make me feel worse.
Starting my way to the showers, someplace where the enemy might not find me, there I could think clearer of things, or maybe just wait for it to come to me. Thrusting down from the vents onto the blue chalk tiles of the shower room, I unknowingly started pacing. While caught in my thoughts I hadn't even noticed the shower faucet handles had twisted on, water was running and splashing on the tile floor. I hadn't turned them on. I thought to myself, hands in my hair. A pounding hard headache.
"We know you are here Y/S/N." I heard from the speakers. I knew I've been found, and the enemy was only trying to haunt me, be a cruel thing and wait until the beautiful girl in the movies was too terrified to move. I kept on moving, back into the vents. This thing wouldn't get me so quickly.
The only other place I could think of going was the library, where I could hide in between book cases. "All my super powered friends are—" I stopped crawling through the vents. "Robin."
"Always a ninja. Always." I smirk, inaudibly dropped from the vents into my destination; the library. Gliding across every book case, finding a haven underneath a computer desk.
"It's a good hiding spot, huh?" I hear a whisper from behind me, as in cue I aim my W/C in their direction. "Woah. Y/S/N didn't think we were at that stage yet." The young hero smirks, holding his hands up in a playful matter. "Robin." I sounded much too relieved but I was terrified out of my boots.
"Miss me much?"
"What no-"
"I have that effect on people Y/S/N." He shrugs, before he turns serious, covering my mouth. Before I could say anything, I too hear the mixture of heavy boots against the wood floor. Robin pulled me into his chest, putting one finger up to his mouth to make sure I didn't make a peep. I secretly liked the embrace, Not going to deny it. I couldn't say I wasn't blushing reds. Like always I've hidden my crush for the mystery boy underneath the Robin mask well, but recently my strong feelings had started to get in the way of my professionalism.
I peered the way Robin was looking, only to see the familiar attire Deathstroke would sport.
With one big yank, I was grabbed by a callus covered hand clutching my leg. Briskly launched into the air, feeling my body collide with the bookcase, especially the lower side of my back and side. There was no time to waste. Letting out a muffled groan, I quickly steady myself on my feet. "Come on Deathstroke, you and me. Let's dance."
"Y/S/N. Conceited?" Rough words escape his lips.
"No, you're just too conceited to notice when someone has the confidence to one-up you, old man." Distracting him while secretly signaling Robin the plan with hand language. Robin curtly nodded, knowing we had the advantage considering Deathstroke hadn't found him.
Stroke and I battle, weapons and fists colliding. To anyone else, it'd have looked like an art show, but to us, it was a death game. I corner Deathstroke against the computer desk so Robin could take that split second to pin him down by the foot with his batarang.
"Time to go!" He didn't wait for a response before swooping me up, holding me bridal style. already dashing out the library.
"Robin what are yo—"
"Stay whelmed Y/S/N." He looks down at me, who was quite uncomfortable. I soon got used to the feeling and snuggled into his chest with the classic 'R' embroidered in.
"Ok, this is what I've picked up: Deathstroke's fog is called MIST, it absorbs information by eating through databases." (A/N: Reference to episodes, anyone?) He says before he climbs into the vents again, being careful to make sure I could lift myself up into the vent too. Robin didn't wait before laying me down in the small space and lifting my shirt. "Umm. Let's not do that." I state as try balancing myself on my elbows. Check what he was doing. "Just checking your bullet wound." His concerned face was replaced with a smirk on his lips; "What you'd think I was doing?"
"That came off a little too Wally, Rob." Blushing as I clarify. He only laughs before patching the wound with gauze after disinfecting it. "Yeah sorry." He says while helping me properly sit up. "You got shot, the shock was too much so the pain was sort of canceled out." He explained, putting his medical supplies back in their compartments.
In the vents, Deathstroke hacked into the system again; "Surrender with your teammates or you lose one." His echo demanded. "You have 10 minutes."
Rob looked absolutely calm, I was the opposite. "Not good." Was the only thing he said. "Really? I hadn't noticed." I mock as I led us through the estimated route to the Comm Room where I last saw our teammates. After a few minutes of rushing, we sneaked out and around Sphere. Deathstroke could be seen from where we were, he seemed to be controlling the MIST. "Robin, Deathstroke has tech on his suit." Robin had already caught on. "Which means I could reprogram the MIST to attack him." He ends the sentence. Pulling up his computer wrist. Typing away. "Got it. MIST should start attacking in about a minute."
I prepare myself for an ambush, shifting in my position so I could crawl out from behind Sphere sooner. Robin noticed this and instead grabbed my wrist, I look back at Robin, but he just nervously biting his lip as he rubbed his neck. "Y/N." He chokes out. "I-I like you."
I did a double take as I slowly sit back down. I looked at him trying to think of the best response, Oh, Robin. I like you too! Too peachy. Yeah, same Rob. Too careless.
So what should I say?
"I like you too. Boy Blunder." I say as slip into the MIST, giving him a quick peck on his pale handsome face.

"Deathstroke managed to get away. The cave system has not been compromised, which is the upside. Overall you handled yourselves fine, even when the League was disconnected from the inside of Mount Justice." The Dark Knight finishes as he and the other League members zeta beam out of the eerie mountain.
I leaned on the door frame of the lounge, deciding to make my way to the zeta beams when I was stopped by a hand gripping my shoulder.
"Y/N!" The handsome boy whisper-shouted, he seemed some what desperate. "Rob... What do you say you go explore Star City with me?" I smirk as he knew what I was getting at. "Sounds asterous." He smiled as he rubbed his hands together. It was obvious he was ready for the excitement.
"It's a date then." We both run to the zeta beams like smiling idiots.
