"First brother's day away yeah?" I ask him with mock happiness. "Can't even tell you how much I enjoyed. Seriously, it was amazing."

"Same here bro," he tells me with a tiny wink.

A tear escapes my left eye.

"You shouldn't have left Maxon, you shouldn't have."

I can hear his imaginary answer, "I know Aid, I know. I miss you."

"Leave it," I whisper and take a deep breath searching for a new topic to talk about. "Ahh Lily. She is just a drama queen seriously..

And I blabber.

He listens.

We talk.

A/N

So this happens to be my favourite chapter in quite a while. I think the last three short sentences are heartbreaking! Do let me know what you think about them!
