Love You, Big Bro-Chapter Three
Love You, Big Bro-Chapter Three
"You know what you have to do, Harry?"
"Yeah."
"Good. Let's go."
~~~
It was around ten in the evening. It was chilly and the wind bit harshly at anyone willing to go outside. A woman in her middle ages was walking briskly home from work. Her car had broken down, but she decided to walk, since she was only a mile or so away from her home. She wore a nice, tailored suit. Obviously high class.
She kept her head tuck down and a hand on her hat to prevent it and her blonde hair from blowing away in the wind.
"Miss?" A small, timid voice spoke up. The woman snapped her head up, and a little to the side. She was right in front of the entrance to an alley, and a little boy with black hair and startling emerald eyes was looking up at her timidly, just peeking around the corner. "Could you spare some change?" He asked quietly and desperately.
The woman felt her heart melt. She reached back and dug a few pounds out of her purse, holding them out. The little boy rushed forward, gratefully taking them. "Thank you miss!" He exclaimed happily. She smiled. He was small, and looked to be no older than seven.
"It's fine. What's your name?" She asked softly. "Mines Destiny."
"My name is Harry, miss." She smiled.
"Hello Harry. Are you all alone?" The boys happy expression dropped.
"I'm sorry miss, but I must be going now." He said quietly.
"But why?"
"I'm sorry miss. Thank you for the money, miss!" With that, the boy disappeared into the night.
Two boys, one older then the other by some years, walked slowly to their destination, almost blending into the shadows. They had done this many times before, but that didn't mean they shouldn't be careful. One crouched down in front of the doors, fiddling with the lock, while the other crouched also, keeping a look out.
Two minutes passed, and the door was open. The two sneaked inside, melding into the shadows.
They rushed. They knew in a few minutes the police sirens would be wailing. They were in a super market. They ran to the bedding first, and grabbed a pillow case each. They then rushed to food and drink each. One was in charge of food, and the other in charge of drink.
While the smaller of the two got all the bottles of water he could fit inside his coat, the other was rushing for food.
They were on their way out of the store when the lights flashed on. A black haired boy threw his hand up to block the lights, while the older, dark brown haired boy just squinted, and grabbed the smaller hand.
Police sirens wailed, and they ran as fast as they could with their supplies. The police pulled up in front of the street they were about to cross, and blue and red lights danced across their faces.
They turned, and ran the other way.
The next day, they had safely gotten away, but the police had managed to snap a picture. A newspaper with the days date floated into the alley the next day, informing the two people inside how careful they needed to be from now on.
SUPER MARKET BREAK IN
Under the bold headline, was a picture of a boy, about eight years in age with black hair and green eyes, and an older boy, about seventeen with dark brown hair and hazel eyes.
"Jesse..." The smaller started.
"I know, Harry. We need to be quicker. More careful." The two to shared a glace, then turned their eyes back on the photo. They were running, two pillow cases in tow. Red and blue lights flashed all around them, bathing their faces in the colors.
"Hey, at least we got some good supplies."
"That's true. But what good are supplies if we're locked away in prison?" The older of the two looked down at the younger, who bowed his head. Jesse was right. Stolen food and drink were of no use if they were locked up.
~~~
Screams filled the air. A boy, about twelve in age, rushed to the sounds as fast as his long and slightly knobby legs (for his age) could carry him, followed closely by a man at about twenty one. He rushed through an alley, and was let out on the streets. Two men held down a poor woman with black hair and blue eyes, while the last two towered over her.
"We'll take the first round, then you two?" One asked in a rough voice.
The others grunted in agreement. The two that were standing reached for the woman's belt, but Jesse launched forward, and slit one of the fours neck.
Harry slipped in on the side, and stabbed one of the ones holding the woman down swiftly in the ear. The blade went through it, cutting through the scalp and puncturing the brain. He dropped dead, next to his friend, who's blood was pouring out of the wound.
Two down, two to go. Jesse slashed the thirds body in small, but deep cuts, in all the vital places, and the attacker soon bled to death, howling in pain.
The last one ran from Jesse, and didn't see Harry standing off to the corner.
He rounded the turn sharply, only to run right into the blade Harry was holding out. It went right into his heart, puncturing the vital organ. His breath hitched, and he fell back. Harry held tightly onto the knife, so it stayed in his hand, leaving the mans body, covered in blood. Harry wiped it off on his shirt, and stepped over the body, which was bleeding rapidly from the wound in his chest. a rusty, blood-covered knife was no good.
When all four lay dead, Jesse and Harry calmly wiped blood off their faces and hands, weapons and other body parts. They looked down at the shaking woman. It wasn't a pretty sight. Blood was splattered across her stomach, face and neck. Some seemed to have gone in her mouth. In a moment, she went from hyperventilating to throwing up on the street.
When she was done, still gasping for breath, Harry crouched down, and made sure she could see his hands the whole time.
"Miss, are you alright?" Harry asked softly. The woman gave no answer. Harry's sighed. "She's in shock, Jess." He reported.
"Fair enough. You take her some place safe, I'll clean this up." He said, gesturing to the litter of bodies. Harry nodded and picked the woman up, her weight leaning heavily on him. He struggled for a moment, but he was stronger than he looked.
Harry walked off, and Jesse started lugging the bodies to a dumpster not far away.

Two boys sat in a small shelter. They both had relaxed expressions. It was around three in the morning, and it had been a long day. The two were on a small mattress on the floor. It was worn and had holes, but it was the best they ever had. The best Harry had had, that he could remember, anyways.
The mattress was tucked into a corner, and Jesse leaned against the wall on one side. Harry sat on his right, on the inside, tucked under his arm. The two were brothers by all means, so maybe they should have thought it uncomfortable, but they were completely at ease. Each trusted the other with their life, completely. That kind of bond didn't leave any holes for such trivial things.
"Hey, Jess?" Harry spoke up suddenly. He had a bad feeling in his stomach, and he felt like something was going to happen. He needed to say something, just in case. He felt it was important.
"Yeah?"
"Love you, big bro." Harry didn't know why, but he felt it very important he say it. That he made sure his brother knew what he meant to him. He didn't know why, but he felt like he wouldn't get another chance. He didn't like the feeling.
"Love you too, munchkin." Harry smacked Jesse's shoulder, and Jesse chuckled, knowing Harry hated that name.
Footsteps echoed outside, and the two tensed. The door to their shelter opened in the room over, and Jesse silently got up, motioning for Harry to stay down. Jesse walked forward, pocket knife at the ready.
"RUN HAR-!" Jesse's shout had been cut short by a BANG! Harry ran forward, running to his brother, against his own wishes, but Harry refused to leave Jesse behind.
He walked in, only to see a man with a gun. Jesse lay, dead, a bullet wound in his forehead
"JESSE!" Harry screamed, launching forward. This saved his life, as the bullet that would have other wise landed in his head grazed his shoulder.
His vision blackened, and he knew he had to get away. Jesse was dead, he couldn't change that. Harry ran, trying his best to not get hit by the bullets being fired at him.
Harry collapsed some time later, not able to run anymore. Tears streamed endlessly down his face, and he sobbed helplessly.
Jesse was gone. He was alone. Jesse wasn't coming back.

You hate me, you wanna kill me, you wanna torture me slowly and pound me into the dirt till I'm nothing but bits and pieces covered in blood, because that's what I did to your heart, do do do.
Pls?
