Day One
"So you're Hermione's sister?" Luna asked. "Yep. Moon Granger." Moon replied. "Do you like books?" Luna asked. "Of course!" Moon replied. Luna smiled. "I'm glad no one else told you about me...they have special opinions on me." Luna said softly. "Welp, you seem nice, I hope we can be friends." Moon said with a smile. "Oh right, I'm Luna Lovegood." They shook hands and walked together. "Is Hermione...nice?" Luna asked. Moon sighed. "Well, you're asking her sister, so it might be a little bit harsh." Moon replied. Luna smiled.
"She's a book person like me, knows everything about everything. Has never fallen in love, uh I don't know...she's sassy and kinda bossy." Luna giggled. "She sounds nice." Luna said. Moon smiled. "Well Luna, I'd like to meet some good friends. Do you..know anyone?" She asked. Luna bit her lip. "Ah, unfortunately I don't know many. But I've heard a lot about Harry Potter and Draco Malfoy. Now, I don't know if those are good things, or not." She stated.
"Ugh, I already know Harry, I was practically forced into being friends with him and Ron." She said, titling her head up to admire the chandeliers as the pair walked down a hall. "Well, counting me, and not your sister, that's three people already." Luna encouraged, though her eyes seemed to be looking somewhere far off. "Apparently I have potions first." Moon said, looking at her schedule.
Luna giggled. "Good luck, Snape's a tricky professor...probably has been in Azkaban once or twice...." Moon lifted both eyebrows. "Alrighty, I hope I survive." She said, nervously biting her lip. Then she saw the jutting sign in front of a classroom. Potions. "Okay, bye Luna." "See you later Moon, don't get in any trouble now." Luna left and Moon shivered. She liked Luna fine, but she was a bit...odd.
-Switch POV-
"Potions huh? I have potions too, how lucky." Draco took a mental picture of her schedule. (Yes I know that can be an actual condition, I just mean like so he remembers some classes.)
"Well uhm Draco, are you...at good terms with my-er-Professor Snape?" She asked. He nodded. "Probably his favorite student." He said, nodding. "Well," he smirked, "except you." She nodded as they approached the Potions room. They walked in rather calmly and Snape greeted them. "Hello Malfoy, and Wren." The two took a seat at a empty desk.
"Today, we're going to review...the love potion, unfortunately some fifth years have been making their own, possibly illegally selling them, so you will NOT take any ingredients, and shall NOT be caught with any specific ingredients, or severe punishment." People nodded and Wren tried to think of who would do that. She didn't know many fifth years though, so she shook it off. "Now the ingredients list is on your desk, work well with your partner now." Professor Snape announced. Wren looked over the list.
"Okay Draco, put in the Ashwinder eggs." Draco snorted. "Why me?" He asked. She glared. "Because they're disgusting. Do it." He smirked and put them in along with rose thorns and rose petals. Wren crushed some moonstone into powder and watched as Draco took the small bag of Pearl dust out. They added those ingredients along with peppermint and water before turning up the heat under the cauldron and Wren stirred. Professor Snape looked around the room, all seemed well though his eyes kept landing on his daughter and young Malfoy. He was only set on one thing; Don't let her fall into the Malfoy ways.
After potions the two left class and headed towards transfiguration. Draco looked over at her schedule. "Well Wren, good luck, McGonagall is quite the hunch, I've gotta go to Defense Against the Dark Arts. Wren didn't bother saying bye as he walked away, in fact she let out a sigh of relief. Having him around was quite a burden, she could feel people watching them. Now she walked through the halls alone. A firecracker flew past her head and she ducked. "What in Merlin?!"
