Sara's POV

Varun is really strange but caring as well. I don't know about him outside from home but here he's playful and say whatever he wants.

"Sara can't we kiss today? Maybe now?" I still couldn't believe he asked that, I didn't know still if what's happening is too fast or just his care initiating something in me.

"No one is here. Even there is someone I don't care. You'll be my wife soon" his words make me feel like I was something important to him. First time I feel someone wants me after mom. I wasn't a burden. It makes me blush.

His soft touch on my lips still lingering, I couldn't think anything else. I so badly wanted see him, I wanted to know how he stare me, how he looks at me when he kissed me.

After kiss he left but I still stand there thinking about it.

My first ever kiss. I come back in room and sketching....waiting for him to come. Maybe it was something I heard from girls talking over....those excited moments.

Would he feel disappointed that I didn't know how to kiss?

Will he kiss me again after he will come? I get blush just thinking about it...I could feel myself getting hot. It's strange new feeling over my body.

"Ma'am" I heard Mithi's voice...when she's left to take care of me in home I feel awkward but she's very sweet company and I get my first friend but how much I say her called my name she didn't.

"Sara" I promt again.

"I'm comfortable in ma'am. BTW, want to go garden. You said you like there" I nodes excited, I take my stick and follow her foot steps, if there's stairs she'll tell me. She offer first to hold me but I denied....though Varun is different case. He doesn't allow me around stick and somehow I feel also good when he hold my hand.

Coming in garden I take of my slipper...i sit there closing my eyes. I love this part here...I asked Mithi to give me phone. I called mom, Mithi leave to give me privacy.

"Hi bachha, are you okay?" She sounds worried as always.

"I'm okay mom." I stay silent hesitate to share, what will mom thinks but then she never judge me...."mom I started to like here. As I heard from outside...it wasn't so bad. Varun was there always taking care of me. You know he even said I look beautiful"

"You're beautiful Sara" mom stressed, I know she always say it but for mother every child is beautiful.

"I-i don't know mom, but I feel like special. The way he always around me...I never thought someone can make me feel these" I whispered confused, I wasn't sure what I was talking but I wanted to share with mom what's going on my mind.

"You like him?" She asked surprise, I thought about it.

"Maybe. Isn't it too soon? I wasn't here for a week. I'm confused mom" I expressed what I was feeling all time. She stay silent for sometime.

"He paid off all debt and also give a proper job to your father. He offered a home which you fathers want to take but I refused so your father agreed. After years I feel everything is going well. What I heard from you, I don't find him a wrong guy. Maybe his works is something dangerous-"

"Mom he had a business of his own." I inform.

"Then that's good,as long as he married you and you both stay safe. A mafia life is dangerous what I know and he belongs to a very big mafia."

"I'll be okay mom" I assured her...then she talk about what she did all day and I end the call.

"Mithi" I yelled her name and soon I heard foot steps...she sure was a little far away. Suddenly the phone ring again.

"Oh my family. Excuse me" saying she left. I close my eyes but then open again....why I'm feeling someone is here. I tried to heard any sound. A very low sounds come from my right side...there is mostly big trees of this garden as I know. I get up nervous.

"Mithi" I called her fast. Soon I heard her coming.

"Yes ma'am any problem? Sorry for the call" she apologized.

"I heard some sound from right side. Can you check?" She take me inside first yelling for some guard. I feel so scared. I was inside while she with some guards check... suddenly there was 3 bullet sounds. I wanted to run back in my room...it was hard. I couldn't remind my way. I sit a corner, tears fall freely.

Mafia life is very dangerous.

I remember what mom said, I knew somewhere but I don't want all this in front of me. I stay like that for sometime till I heard some footsteps.

"Ma'am... ma'am" I heard a guard voice...is it guard? I feel so helpless. I couldn't even be sure. I stay in my place hugging myself.

"Ma'am. Are you okay?"I heard someone but I didn't look up. I hear foot steps going away. It was maybe after some more minutes I heard running footsteps and suddenly I was in his arms. I hug him scared..."shhh it's okay. I'm here. Don't cry. You're okay" I heard him whispering. I stay in his arms for sometime then he pick me up. I didn't protest. My ears are still ringing from gunshots.

He put me on bed and sit beside me..."are you okay?" He asked after sometime, I nodes still shocked of the incident.

"Who was there?" I whispered.

"Someone from an enemy. He had been taken care off" I sigh in relief, I noticed he had still his arm around me but it's making me feel safe now.

"I was scared when I feel someone watching me. Then I heard some footsteps. I called Mithi, she take me inside and called some guards. Was there anyone hurt? I heard gun shoots" I asked, suddenly I remember Mithi didn't come once.

"Mithi...she didn't come. Is she okay?" His silence scared me more...."Varun?" I asked nervous.

"She got shot but she'll live. My guard take down that man who entered. I would need a security cross check how he even entered here. You won't go out for someday" I nodes worried about Mithi, I don't know even after somedays would I ever feel safe in garden? Those beautiful nature would give me peace again?
