Reem: Will you make me wear it, or is it a no?

Jai giggled and slided the diamond ring in her finger. That's when suddenly party pops were boomed all around. Reem looked around to see the pops all around. She laughed out loud after so long while Jai was admiring her only. For Jai, it was like he found his whole world again.

Sidd was there, sitting on the couch reading Avneet's report while she was silently sitting there, staring him only. She chuckled as she noticed him stretching his eye muscles. Sidd looked up at her.

Sidd: Why are you laughing?

Avu's smile faded, and she just shook her head negatively. Sidd again got busy reading her file placed on his lap.

Avu (noticing him): You have got specs, and you have changed a lot too.

Sidd (flipping the page of file): People change as the situation changes. No one can be as they were in the beginning.

Avu pressed her lips as tears filled up in her eyes. She looked down and wiped her tears harshly.

Avu (trying to talk to Sidd, cracky voice): When did you get your eyesight weak?

Sidd (looking at her): Almost 2 years.

Avu nodded while Sidd closed her file and stood up. He paced till the table near her bed and looked at her watch.

Sidd (exhaling sharply): It is your medicine time, and doctors are discharging you after this.

Avu (confused, looking here and there): Where is Jai?

Sidd (pouring water in glass): He went with Reemi. They will be here anytime.

Sidd forwarded her glass of water with a tablet. Avu received it and gulped it in one go while Sidd sat there silently. He removed his specs and rubbed his eyes. That is when the doctor came in. She paced near Avu and checked her blood pressure.

Doc: How are you feeling now, Ms. Kaur?

Avu nodded her head.

Avu: I'm better than before.

Doc: Good, I am discharging you, but you need to take a lot of care.

Doc (looking at Sidd): Are you her husband or brother?

Sidd (wide eyes): No!

Doc: Kindly inform her guardian to take care of her meals.

Sidd (nodding his head): Sure!

Avu supressed her laughter, seeing Sidd's expressions. The doctor left the place. Sidd stood up to leave, but Avu held his wrist all of a sudden. Sidd looked at her hand, holding his wrist.

Avu (curious): Where are you going?

Sidd (looking at their hands): I am going to see Jai and Reemi. Kindly leave my hand.

Avu (sitting straight, dragging his wrist): Sidd, why are you behaving like this? As if you don't mean anything to me? Why are you avoiding me?

Sidd (exhaling sharply): Look, Avneet, I need some time to accept all this. I can't push myself every time. Please, try to understand.

Avu looked down and nodded, processing everything. She left his wrist.

Sidd (placing his hands inside his pocket): I am going to see Jai and Reem.

He informed while she nodded her head. As soon as Sidd left the room, Avu burst into tears.

Sidd came out of her room to find Reem and Jai coming towards him from a distance. Sidd signed Reem, raising his eyebrow as she paced toward him.

Sidd: Where were you, Reemi? It's been so long.

Reem glanced at Jai before answering Sidd.

Reem: Woh, Bhaiya, actually, it was rush there. So, we got a little late.

Sidd nodded and looked at Jai.

Sidd: Jai, doctors have decided to discharge Avneet. She was calling you.

Jai nodded and went inside her room. There, Reem's smile grew brighter as she looked at Sidd while he frowned, looking at her.

Sidd (chuckle, teasing): This much happy? What was special on this date?

Reem forwarded her left hand, and Sidd looked at her hand and held it, examining the ring. He looked at her in shock while she nodded with tears in her eyes.

Reem: He proposed me, bhaiyaa?

Sidd (taken back): Now?

Reem (nodding): At the cafe!

Sidd exhaled sharply and forced a smile.

Sidd: So, are you happy?

Reem squeezed in happiness and hugged Sidd, keeping her head on his shoulder and arms wrapped around the waist.

Reem (squeezing): So much!

Sidd patted her head, nodding her head and looking away. That's when Sidd's phone rang. Reem broke the hug. Sidd glanced at his phone to see his brother calling.

Sidd: Um, Reemi! You go inside. Dada is calling. I will come after talking to him.

Reem nodded and went inside Avu's room. Sidd walked a little far from her room and picked up the call.

Sidd: How are you, Dada?

Abhi (sitting on couch, sipping his coffee): All good. What about you?

Sidd (sadly): I don't know.

Abhi (sitting straight): Why Ashu?What happened? Is everything fine? Are you okay?

Sidd: I am fine, Dada, but .....

Abhi (confused): But what?

Sidd (looking around): The situation here is not fine. I need you to be here. Can you come here with Vaishu di and Viku?

Abhi (concerned): At least, tell me what exactly happened.

Sidd explained everything to him. From their meeting till now, everything from A to Z. Abhi exhaled sharply.

Sidd: I am not able to decide what to do now. Today, I met Avu. What if she wants me to meet her family? I am not able to manage anything here.

Abhi (calmly): Listen to your heart, Ashu.

Sidd (tensed): That's the problem, dada. My heart doesn't say anything now.

Abhi (thinking for a while): Alright, don't worry! Let me take leave from office. We will arrive by any emergency flight as soon as possible.

Sidd (smiling): Thank you so much, dada. Have a safe journey.

Abhi (smiling): Take care of yourself and Reemi. Don't worry about anything else.

That's when, Vaishu came out of the kitchen and sat beside Abhi with a cup of coffee in her hand. Abhi declined the call.

Vaishu (confused): What happened? Is everything alright?

Abhi: Everything is going on it's right place, Vaishu and for that we should be there too. Everything is sorted between Reemi and Jai but Sidd is calling us to sort everything between them. Maybe, God also wants us to go back.

Abhi looked at Vaishu while she held his hand and smiled nodding her head.

Vaishu (smiling): His plans are much better than ours.

That's when, Viku came there and patted Abhi's leg. Abhi made her sit on his lap while she giggled playing with her doll. There was happiness seen all around.
