I start to regain my consciousness. I feel a huge throbbing pain on my right eye. I'm on the ground while everyone is huddled around me. Everything is blurry but I can still make out shapes and colours.

"He's waking up!"

"Nathan! Can you hear us?!"

"Nathan!"

I feel the ringing in my ears again. Coach Dave is on my right side, screaming my name. He tells my teammates to back up and give me space. I see Kimberley, she looks gorgeous. She's holding my left hand and gently rubbing it. Her hands are so sweet and soft.

"Nathan, are you alright? Do you know what's going on?" Kimberley asks me in her sweet angelic voice.

"Yeah, I think I can stand up now." I smile at her through my pain. Then I see Wade, I'm so mad at him now. He hands me a bag of ice for my black eye and guides me to the bleachers with Kimberley. I sit down while holding the bag of ice to my eye. Why would Wade do this? What's happening to our friendship? I think Wade and I need a break. The big game is on Saturday and we can't be fighting while playing. Kimberley and I are on the bleachers alone now. I stare into her deep blue eyes.

"Why did you get into a fight with Wade honey?" Kimberley asks.

"I don't know...he's been acting weird today..."

"Awh, its ok sweetie. Since you can't drive I'll call my mom to drive us to the hospital to get your eyes checked. Ok?"

"Ok, thank you so much. I love you." I push Kimberley's hair back behind her ear.

"I love you too." Kimberley kisses me gently on the cheek.

After Kimberley and I change into our regular clothes, Kimberley's mom shows up. She looks just like Kimberley, but older. "Hello Mrs. Wilde." I greeted.

"Hi sweetie. You poor thing, your eye must be killing you right now. What happened?" Asks Mrs. Wilde.

"Wade and I had a little fight,"

"You and Wade? How could that be? You guys never fight!"

"Yeah, I know,"

"It'll be ok, I called your mom to let her know we're going to be at the hospital,"

"Thanks Mrs. Wilde." I smile.

"No problem dear, anything for you."

Kimberley's mom is such a sweet lady. I'm glad that we get along, it makes dating Kimberley easier. Kimberley and I sit in the backseat of Mrs. Wilde's minivan. I lay my head on Kimberley's shoulder while she gently plays with my platinum blonde hair. I fall asleep to the smell of Kimberley's perfume. She smells like flowers.

"No problem, have a good night!"

"Goodnight Mrs. Wilde." I say goodnight to Kimberley and kiss her goodbye. Mrs. Wilde drives away as I head back to my house.

After telling my family what happened over dinner, I head to my room and text Kimberley.

I wake up to my alarm I had set extra early today since it's Kimberly and I's anniversary today. I'm so excited! Today is going to be fantastic. Nothing will get in the way of Kimberley and I, not my black eye, and especially not Wade. I take a shower and think about what I should wear today. I wear the black skinny jeans that Kimberley likes on me and a black dress shirt that matches with a skinny red tie. I style my hair and spray on cologne. I look sharp and there is no denying it. I still have time left to get Kimberley her first gift of the day.

My mom drives me to a flower shop to get Kimberley some red roses.

My mom drops me off at Kimberley's house and drives to work. I step up to Kimberley's front door and ring the doorbell. Mrs. Wilde opens the door and invites me in.

"Oh sweetie you look so handsome!"

"Haha, thank you Mrs. Wilde, you look lovely. Is Kimberley done getting ready yet?"

"Oh thank you honey. Kimberley should be done by now."

"Ok thanks."

"Kimberley! Nathan is here for you!" Shouts Mrs. Wilde.

I see Kimberley making her way down the stairs. I stare at her in awe, she looks like an angel. My heart beats faster with every step she takes closer to me. She's wearing a beautiful knee-length white dress that shows off her shoulders. She has her platinum blonde hair down with a beautiful white flower crown on top. She deserves a real crown. She's my queen. I couldn't be more in love with her. I try to speak but my mouth fails me. After ten seconds of stuttering I finally say something. "You look amazing."

"Awh thank you. You look very handsome yourself." Smirks Kimberley.

"I got you these roses."

"They're beautiful! Thank you so much!"

"Anything for you. Happy anniversary!"

"Happy anniversary!"

"Do you want to walk to school together?"

"I would love to." Giggled Kimberley. Kimberley places the roses in a vase before going outside.

"It's nice outside today," I state.

"Yeah, are you going to talk to Wade today?

"I'm not sure. I want to be friends with him again but he seems to be mad at me for some reason."

"Why would Wade be mad at you?"

"I don't know, we had a small argument about something stupid."

"What was the argument about?"

"Oh it was nothing, it doesn't matter."

"Oh, ok."

I take Kimberley's hands and spin her around, making her twirl into my arms as I hug her.

Wade walks into the classroom and looks at the empty desk next to me, deciding whether to sit there or not. Giving in, Wade sits beside me.

"Hey man, I'm really really sorry about yesterday. I don't know what came over me, I guess I was just a little mad and I took it out on you. It was a stupid move and I hope you can forgive me and be my friend again." Apologizes Wade. I pause for a minute and try to take in what just happened. I am mad at Wade for what he did but he knows what he did wrong and he apologized. He's my best friend I need him.

"It's ok bro, I accept your apology."

Before I can ask why Wade was so angry, Ms. Elizabeth arrives and begins history class.

After school, Kimberley greets me with a sweet kiss at my locker.

"So, what do you have planned?" She asks smiling.

"It's a surprise." I grin.

"Oh really?" She smirks.

"Yeah, you'll see."

My mom drove us to the first place we were going for our anniversary. She dropped us off at the Colville Inn. Garden. The garden was huge! It's magnificently filled with hundreds of different types of plants. It's the perfect place to bring someone you really love. It captures the beauty of the relationship.

Kimberley and I enter the garden and slowly walk down the cobble stone path, enjoying the view of the perfectly trimmed bushes and different coloured roses.

"Oh Nathan! This is beautiful!" Kimberley smiled.

"Just like you." I smirk. I hold Kimberley's face and kiss her gently.

Once Kimberley and I reach the middle of the garden, we sit down on the benches around the big water fountain. The sound of the water flowing water calms me. I will cherish this memory forever. Kimberley is the most beautiful girl in the world. It's so peaceful here, and the setting couldn't be better. "Close your eyes." I smile.

"Ok." Giggles Kimberley. I pull Kimberley's gift out of my pocket and gently place it around her neck.

"Ok, you can open your eyes now." Kimberley opens her eyes and looks down to see the silver chain wrapped around her neck. Her eyes widen as she holds the blue zircon shaped heart with sparkling diamonds around it. Blue zircon is Kimberley's favourite jewel.

"OMG! Nathan! This is so beautiful! I'm speechless! This must've been so expensive; you didn't have to do this for me. Thank you so much!" Kimberley hugs me tightly and kisses me on the cheek.

"Don't worry, the money was no problem. I'm happy as long as you're happy. I'm so glad you liked it." Seeing Kimberley's reaction to my gift made me feel so genuinely happy. I am so in love with her. "Look at what the engraving says." I grin excitedly.

"You are my everything, Princess. ~Your Prince."

"Do you like it?" I ask.

"No, I love it!" Kimberley kisses me.

We exit the fountain area and stroll around the garden once more. Kimberley kept smiling and feeling her necklace while she walked. She looks like an angel and I'm in heaven. After exiting the garden, Kimberley and I walk to Le Meurice, a fancy restaurant at the hotel. Kimberley and I talk over dinner and have a great time. Everything went as planned and Kimberley was happy. Once we finish our dinner, I pay the bill and we head outside. I give Kimberley my jacket so she wouldn't get cold. It was getting late and her house wasn't too far away, so we walked together.
