I know I do not usually post author's notes within my writing and I have posted one other within the last week, but I felt the need to share these words with you, my readers.

I started writing this story at 19...it's been four years since I began Tallulah's journey. August10th was the 4 year date officially.

I was just starting my 2nd year of college and working full time when I began this.

It is so surreal to see the growth of me as a writer. There have certainly been some ups and downs and hiatuses here and there.

For those of you that have stuck with me as I've been writing this story and even those who are new to my journey I really appreciate the kind comments and support you've given.

We are close to the finish line, as I only see me writing 10-15 more chapters of this story before I begin extensive editing. We are currently at just under 75k words between Blue and Black, the goal is 100-110k words by the end.

Thank you all so very much. 19 years old me couldn't see the finish line but 23 year old me can.
