I'm upset that from now on
I can't believe you
But I love you

This was it. This was what Olivia was stopping her from. Jungkook was in there and she had known that ever since she came to Busan. For the first time Inaya felt like she did something wrong, that she will regret her own decision.
But why was she so sad? There was no such emotion as anger once she saw Jungkook, because he was just as aghast as her. She didn't expect to see him, he didn't expect to see her. That was equal.
There was no blaming, no questions, no conversations. They both had played along the act of not knowing each other. Except for the time when they were sitting next to each other, around the table along with his other family members and Namjoon of course. To her astonishment Jimin, too, was present there, which only indicated that he had known everything from the very beginning.
When Jungkook had placed his hand on her thigh, with an apologetic look in his eyes, she had ignored him. What for? He just hid his reality, not a big deal. But she couldn't look him in the eye, she feared what more lies he had hidden. All the time she sat there, she stayed quiet except for the times when Namjoon couldn't answer in her place. Namjoon, oh Namjoon had handled the situation so perfectly, he knew she wasn't ready so he stood there for her.
And now she was sitting, back in the hotel room, with no one around her but Jimin.
"He didn't want to hide it, noona..." The best thing about Jimin, that she found charismatic, was the fact that his voice could the most seductive and flirty at times but the most angelic when she needed. "Don't be mad at him. He was about to come along, no, actually only he was going to come but his grandfather had some work for him."
"I'm not mad. Not at all. Just... It is," She looked away, suddenly her hands felt different, the surrounding felt new, the atmosphere changed and she couldn't understand the reason. Neither did she want to answer him nor herself, this was not what she expected. "I'm just.... disappointed, yes, that's all." She assured herself.
"Noona-"
"This was the reason behind keeping our relationship a secret, right?" Why was she even questioning, she very well knew the answer was yes and Jimin nodded. "What more?" Jimin didn't understand her question, so he stared at her.
Shaking her head gently, she got up, walked towards the door and opened it for him, asking him to leave.
"You're sure you'll be fine alone?" Jimin asked for the last time, stepping out of the door. She nodded to him, faking a yawn to show him how sleepy she was.
Once Jimin left, she closed the door and sat near the threshold.
Fine until his love is not a lie...

The dawn had fallen into the grasp of bright sunshine and the flowers had bloomed beautifully along the path of the hotel. She smiled happily at them, for she felt fresh and anew. The doubts were still there but embedded by thrill.
It was his birthday and she got to celebrate it with him, that was the only positive thing in this journey and she didn't want to mess it up. So she, as planned, had gone for a quick walk early in the morning along with her sister, who was accompanied by her Boss, Jung Hoseok.
After the quick walk, she ended up in a coffee shop, her sister still by her side and the third presence had left due to some work.
"What are you wearing tonight?" The air was awkward and thick, despite the bright smile on Inaya's face and Olivia felt weird, so she talked.
"A dress. Long, beautiful, shimmering dress." Inaya had replied and Olivia nodded.
"I'll be there by your side. Don't worry, alright?"
"What am I supposed to worry about? It's not like Jungkook was cheating on me. He... May... He had his reasons, and I'll try to understand. That's what love is, understanding and trust. And that is still there." Inaya nodded, satisfied with her words and her happy mood but did she mean it all?
"I'll be leaving for a salon to get ready, tag along with me." Olivia spoke, getting up and pulled Inaya with herself.
"You just made it easier for me." She grinned at the younger one, walking back to the hotel along with her.

The same midnight blue dress, that suited her the best, chosen by her boyfriend and fitted by that boutique girl. It had flowed so lavishly when Inaya, as a professional writer, entered the venue along with Namjoon by her side.
There was a sudden quietness in the huge hall, as she walked to greet the Jeon family and wish the only familiar person in the room.
Jungkook's eyes had not left her once, as soon as she entered the hall they were fixated on her and her only. The midnight blue dress making her look more attractive. The absent straps revealed her shoulders beautifully, the accurate fit of the dress hugged her body perfectly and then stretched down with an increase in the volume as it finally came to an end near the ground. The starry shimmer multiplied up the glow of that dress, reminding him of all the starry nights and all the promises he had made.
Her wavy hair peacefully rested on her chest, a new pair of earrings he had never noticed, her make-up just up to the mark and he could make it it out that she was wearing heels.
Once closer, he noticed how she had gotten thin but still looked equally beautiful and ethereal. His hand automatically produced towards her and she gently took it, as he moved forward to peck her, forgetting everyone in the room.
"Happy birthday," She spoke quietly and he got pulled out of his trance, hurriedly looking around he noticed few eyes on them as he immediately bowed down and thanked her.
Her eyes travelled from his form to the other person standing along with him, his sister, Hae. "And happy birthday to you, too, dear. You look beautiful." She said, petting Hae's cheeks slightly as the younger smiled at her.
"Thank-you, so much!" Hae replied happily, and Jungkook admired the two. Lovely and sweet.
She would've stayed with him, out of habit, but there was Olivia, too, in a black dress, and she pulled Inaya away from him. Away, to a different corner from where she could just see him and all the other people.
The appreciable design of the hall intrigued Inaya, once she gave up on staring at Jungkook. But her mind couldn't get off, he looked so troubled.
On the other hand, maybe selfishly or in self love, Inaya kept on reminding herself that the guy loved her. He was still with her. He would be there for her. He had promised so. Although, he had just broken one, he won't do it again. So she looked away, to distract herself.
There was something about these Royal parties that confused Inaya a lot, as no one there was just for celebrating, she easily noticed the cunning look on the faces of politicians and the so called public figures, as if they were just there to get their works done. But she wouldn't understand.
Later that evening, another family entered and they were treated as equally as the Royal family and Inaya took them to be the Royals of some different province, which they were.
Time passed by, it felt like several long hours had already slipped away, but it was just minutes that swept as slowly as they could. And she couldn't help but stay.
There in the middle stood Jeon Jungkook, not alone but, yes, alone, the aloneness in his eyes couldn't be hidden behind that bright smile on his face, at least not from her and she couldn't help him.
What is it? She wanted to shout, hold him in her arms and pull him out of whatever problem he was in, but she couldn't, she believed herself to be capable enough but she wouldn't know, not until he told her, and by what he had done she realised he wouldn't.
There was a tingling sound, produced in the middle of the hall, where Jungkook stood, and his grandfather slowly descended towards him. There was a proud smile on his face as he threw his hand happily around Jungkook's shoulder.
"Ladies and gentlemen, thank-you for your wonderful appearances in tonight, my grandchildren's birthday." He raised his glass up for a toast and so did the crowd, murmuring few things.
"But!" The crowd turned to look in his direction again, once he had spoken so sharply and brightly. "Other than my grandson's arrival tonight, we have one more important and beautiful presence amongst us!" He forwarded his hand towards his right as Inaya could see, and a beautiful girl walked towards him with shy, slow steps.
Slowly, the crowd started clapping, addled but cheerful. Inaya joined them too, once she noticed everyone around her clapping, already bored of the slow event. She just waited for her turn to walk forward and speak and then leave after eating loads because why not?
"Eun Ae," Jungkook's Grandfather smiled again, holding her hand gently and passing it over to Jungkook, which he took, but there was a tremble in his movements. "Jungkook's fiancee!"
