(IMPORTANT) How Vampires Work

I. Vampires have venom instead of blood.

II. To transform a human into a vampire, he/she has to be bitten by a vampire, and has to get more than half of his/her blood sucked out, which is to be replaced by vampire venom. The remaining blood gradually gets turned into venom.

III. If a person is born a vampire, he/she naturally ages, like how a human would, and can usually live up to 500 years.

IV. If a person is transformed into a vampire before the age of ten, then he/she is considered a born vampire.

V. If a person is transformed into a vampire during/after the age of ten, he/she will age until the age of 18, and will start to gradually age again from age 130.

VI. Most vampires have skin which is sensitive to the sun.

VII. THEY DO NOT SPARKLE.

VIII. Their fangs usually show when they are feeling an extreme emotion, but some vampires can't easily control them, which is why vamps try to avoid showing their teeth much.

IX. Vampires don't necessarily need blood, however, it can be used as a medicine to heal.

X. They still eat human food, and they love it. Well some do.

XI. Kid-Vampires usually start having fangs at age one or two, but some late-bloomers have them at about four. Early-bloomers may have them after 5-6 months.

XII. In extremely rare cases, some vampires never have fangs.

XIII. Many vampires have broken into blood banks.

XIV. Vampires are not necessarily super strong.

XV. Vampire venom stings. You might get a blister or a rash or swollen skin. Its also poisonous, yet has an addictive smell and taste, attracting humans to take a sip.

XVI. Vampires sometimes, change their eye color, according to their emotions. Most can control it, but some can't. [Red for anger, blue for sadness, a soft brown for happiness/calm, black for fear]

XVII. Vampires have powers. One power common among vampires is that they can turn invisible. Besides that, they have different kinds of powers.

XIX. Humans going through transformation go through immense amounts of pain, and are usually very sick and unstable for a long period, maybe even a year or two. This includes having random outbursts for reasons that may not matter normally.

XX. When a human is bitten and undergoes transformation, physical features which were previously altered go back to normal. For example, if a person with blonde hair dyed it green, then the hair would gradually turn back to its original color during the transformation. Same goes with diseases and medical conditions, including wounds and accidents. Scars remain, however, along with tattoos.

XXI. The color of venom is usually black for born vampires, while vampires who were transformed have a darker-than-blood-but-still-red color..

XXII. Born/baby vampsires need breast-blood (similar to breast-milk) till at least five years of age, while transformed vampires need to drink a few milliliters on their first day.

XXIII. Female vampires get their period too, unfortunately, with their released blood always being a silvery black, regardless of the actual color of their blood, which (as stated in point XXI) for born vamps is black, and transformed ones is a darker-than-blood-but-still-red shade.
