The first thing that she had us do was sit and wait for instructions, and I then noticed the back of her badge had a book with intricate designs around the edges going out, and it had a pair of swords crossing above the book with the middles of them meting in the middle. She caught me staring and then turned it around, and I walked over to that kid that was looking at me strangely. 

Why does she hide the back of her metal I said to him and why were you looking at me weird earlier.

Because I couldn't hear your thoughts when I could hear everyone else's thoughts here he said that is my power...I'm a mind reader, and it is a very rare gift to have, but she hides that side of her badge because she doesn't like her past. You see she was a veteran for a war that we had between another group of shifters a while ago, and she killed many of them as well as watching her own fall before they settled a peace pact that protected both, so that we could all live in peace. The birds, cats, wolf, horse, snake, and other shifters that are here, and some have the ability to shift into many forms. She is one of them, but she can only shift into two other cat forms, and as she told you her main form is a Siberian Tiger

 Huh I said that's interesting, and I understand why she wants to hide her past, but she doesn't have to keep it locked within her. That only builds up more anger, and hate if she doesn't already have a-lot of it.

Yeah, but don't bug her about it okay he said to me and he started to walk over to the other side of the group 

What is your name I asked

Damien he said and yours.

Ember I said and we separated even though I saw one of the girls looking at me in a smirk before looking back at the teacher. I then saw another kid that wasn't a wolf shifter looking at my side, and I looked. I was surprised to see that I was pure white with a lightning bolt pattern going across my side with a black outline, and I started to wonder if I would change into other colors as that lightning bolt filled with all of the colors that I shifted into. I wasn't a fan of white, but I was different so I guess that this was part of my light side. Then I joined the group and sat listed to her teach about things to control our emotions and actions, but since she wasn't a wolf shifter she didn't really know what we felt or acted like. Then she told us to go and run around and play for the rest of class, and I don't think that this was a regular thing because everyone was surprised when she said that, but they all started to run around a play with each other for a while. I didn't really want to play so I went over behind her and sat right next to her, and I think that I startled her a little, but she didn't let it show. 

"Why aren't you out there" she said looking at me confused

No one will want to hang out with a giant wolf that could easily overpower them, and I'm not really a person that has a good time  alone or with friends and large groups of people I said to her

"Yeah I know what that feels like" she said, but she didn't look at me because he both had a bad story and we knew it. I think that this little conversation bonded us as partial friends, and I was fine with sitting in silence for a while. Then a large siren rang and everyone started to go in and get their stuff. 

"Everyone we will be doing the feline shifters next, so be ready for tomorrow" she said as everyone left "well it's you ten minutes of freedom and travel to your next class, so don't get into trouble and try to make friends for your sake" 

I will I said to her, and then I launched myself into the air with a single flap, and I went to my next class. I didn't have anything that I needed to bring with me because I didn't need it. I flew to a secluded place and shifted not bothering the stunt my growing stage. Then I walked into my next class and sat on the floor waiting for the other students or the teacher to come in. I saw the first student come in just as the teacher materialized in his chair. 

"Aw you beat me again huh John" he said 

"Actually no she beat both of us" he said

"How" the teacher asked me "we're vampires, and we can run faster than werewolves" 

"Well I'm different, and yes I am a werewolf, but that doesn't mean that someone here is faster than you" I said "and were you two screwing around before you came here, and what can you do" 

"I can teleport obviously and John is the fastest vampire here" the teacher said "so what are you and  what can you do"

"I don't know yet" I said I didn't want to say that I had wings because they might put a-lot of attention on me or they might look at me as a freak "so this is fighting class huh" 

"Yes, so why did they put a werewolf with a class full of vampires" he said fustrated

"I don't know" I said "I also didn't know that this was an all vampire class...in fact I didn't know that they had vampires here"

"Well then" he said "I guess that this a mainly vampire and a werewolf class" 

"I guess so" I said "and why do you two race all of the time" 

"It's just a thing that we do, and apparently I am slower than him even though I literally travel through space to get somewhere" he said and John smirked at him playfully

"Well it looks like we're going to have to beat another person too" John said "awesome, and do you want to race during the school free time" 

"Sure" I said

"Cool" he said and the chose a spot rather far to the left of me. Then rest of the day went by fast because of my excitement for the race. The bell rang just as we were being given our creatures folder, and I quickly grabbed the thick book and put it in a bag that I had passed at the end of my last class. I then went out the door and walked to the place that I had met John at, or Combat training class. When I got there I saw that the punk that was taunting me in shifter class was heading towards John with a smirk on his face. I knew that he could easily overpower him, and then I saw John staring at him in fear. What did he have to fear I thought.

"Hey crazy" I yelled at the mean kid and he turned around looking at me a little pale "do you still want to have that beating that you were just asking for in from shifting class" 

"N-no" he said and ran the other direction taking an alley and shifting to get away from me faster

"Wow I don't know how to thank you" John said "he treats me the worst of all the people that he bullies so how did you scare him" 

"I have my ways" I said "and why didn't you use your powers to beat him up or escape" 

"His power is that if someone looks into his eyes and fears him then they can't move due to fear" he said 

"That's an interesting power" I said "and when is the big thing happening next week" 

"Oh that" he said "that's the assembly where all the new people here like you and me are tested to see how strong they are and what their rank...or status is" 

"Huh" I said "well are we still going to do that race or what" I said

"Yeah we are" he said then explained the race directions, and where we were going to go as we walked there. It was going to be on a track designed for vampires and werewolves so that they had plenty of room to exercise. He said that we were doing two laps around and that the track was ten miles across on each side with a three mile long turn leading to the other mile, so there was plenty of room to run in.

"Ready" he said

"Yeah" I said

"Okay just so you know" he said "because you are racing me and there hasn't been anyone that could even come close to beating me we might get a crowd" 

"That's fine" I said "I hope" 

"Three...Two...One...GO!" he took off and I got why they said that he was the fastest vampire here, and I recovered from my shock and took off with a sonic boom. I saw him almost halfway, and he was having fun on the red stained grass track. I went a little faster, and I hit another sonic boom.  He looked back and his face was full of shock when he saw me close to him in human form. I passed him, and then I went my fastest sending a shock wave into the ground and lifting the ground up a little before it leveled out. I was at the second lap, and then I lapped him and stopped at the finish line. He finished looking at me in shock, and then he started to breath normally. 

"How where you going that fast in your human form" he said "are you sure that you aren't part vampire" 

"I don't know honestly" I said "I never knew my father and I was torn from my mother due to a certain...'accident' and I have been here still wondering how big this place is" 

"Oh do you want to go again" he said "but in your shifted form, and I'll use my power of speed to aid me"

"So you weren't using your powers" I said surprised at how fast he can go without using his powers, and I thought that he was using his powers. I looked around and was thankful that there were no raised platforms, or any people here yet. I saw a couple of dust clouds in the distance, and I shifted before they got here. I grew and when I was done I willed my body to shrink to the size that I usually shrunk to, and then I looked at him. I wasn't surprised to see that there was a little fear in his eyes, but not his smell. 

"So that's why Tom didn't bother me" he said

Yeah I kind-of threatened him in shifting control class because he was trying to dump his crap on me I said to him in his mind what are the rules for this one.

"Okay so we are going to be doing twenty laps now, and I am not going to be suppressing my powers okay" he said

Okay that's fine with me I said 

"Okay. Five...Four...Three...Two...One...GO!!" we both took off with a sonic boom, and did three laps in under four seconds, and then I saw him close his eyes before he opened them again and they turned a bright violet color, and he shot ahead of me. I decided to go my full speed, and I blasted forward. I created a shock wave and earthquake equal to an atomic nuke, and then I ran full speed and passed him as just a streak of light. He looked up confused, and then he got determined but it didn't really do anything. I finished my twentieth lap, but I wanted more. I decided to go faster and faster. I was glad that this was a remote place because I was probably ruin this field. 

I saw him stop and go to the side to join his friends, and I swear that he caught my eyes because he looked at me with a stricken expression. I saw that the light streak that was a part of my trail was a dark red, and then I looked at my body. It was a blood red color, and my lightning bolt had a black outline and then a white spot filling in the top part of it, and the rest of it was red. I looked at it amazed while I was running, and then I went faster and faster. I think that I created a giant funnel because of how fast I was going. Then I heard someone screaming at me breaking my concentration and calmness. I was still satisfied, but I tried to listen. 

"STOP!!" I think that it was John "STOP OR YOU ARE GOING TO DESTROY THIS VALLEY!!" he was yelling at my red wall of moving color. I stopped and I saw that I had created a funnel that had torn up the center of the field that I was on, and the track and the area around it was burned to ash. It's like I had created enough energy to burn everything close to me. I then saw that John was on the ground unconscious and so were his friends. I then felt the big rush of air as it hit me with full force and sent me flying. My world went black as I blacked out in midair after being tossed like a rag doll. 

I didn't dream, but I thought about what happened and I decided that I would never do that again unless I had to. I found out that I had burned the ground, created a funnel, and in doing so I sucked out all of the air in the area like a vacuum. I realized that I didn't need to breath so it wasn't effecting me and that was also why I could go so fast. I woke up in a white bed, and still in wolf form...great. I tried to stand, and then I let out a loud 'yip' as I felt a pain in my whole body like a flaring pain. 

"Don't try to stand up" someone to my left said, and I turned my head and saw that it was John with a sad face. 

"They said that you broke the entire front section of your chest, and they had to reset almost every bone in your body" he said "they said that you probably wouldn't walk again" he was crying now, and I realized that my neck, legs, chest, ribs, and back hurt. 

I'm glad that you guys were okay I said nice race huh

"Yeah it was awesome,except for the part where I couldn't breath and passed out" he said "I found you in a broken and bleeding heap on the floor five miles from the racetrack, and I wondered why I was fine" 

Oh come on you can't care about me That much I said to him causing him to chuckle and I was hurt because the air couldn't go around my standing body as much as it could with a body that it flat or laying on the ground

"Yeah I guess so" he said still said, but knowing why he wasn't hurt like me

I am going to be fine I said to him I heal fast

"They said that even if you had accelerated healing, that you still wouldn't be able to walk" he said

Don't worry about it I said I am much different than others

"How" he said 

I can't tell you because if I did then you'll look at me as a freak I said knowing that it would be true even if he denied it. 

"Oh come on it can't be that bad" he said in-enthusiastically 

It is almost as bad as the teacher in shifter class's history I said, and I silently wined due to my bones shifting and changing, so that I would heal properly. Then they all got into place, and I just had to wait a little while. 

"Please just tell me" he said

Fine, but don't expect me to say sorry because you asked for it I said is one day I was taking the trash out before I went to this new school that I've never been to before and I felt like I was being watched form behind, and I was because the wolf was looking at me form the other side of my yard I told him the rest of my story as well as him torturing me, and me dying but coming to life again on the exact same day like it had never happened, but id had. I told him everything, but I left out that part where I didn't need to breath anymore, and that I was technically the dark queen. I looked at him, and I saw his horrified expression, and I sighed and stood up finding that my bones had healed, and I could fly and walk again. I jumped off the bed and walked out of the hospital building, and then I ran at full speed to the outside of a building. I ran outside, and went to the forest to change to a human and cry against a tree thinking that I was never going to have any friend again for the rest of my strange, cursed, and lonely life. Eventually I fell asleep peacefully with no dreams just an empty darkness. 

I woke up still against the tree, but it was now the middle of what I guessed was the next day, and John was sleeping peacefully in the shade of a tree a couple of feet away form me. I got up silently and shifted, and then I looked at him once more and lifted off into the sky silently as I was. I flew to the other side of the campus and slept peacefully on the other side. I'm a danger to everyone, and everything I thought I  can't have friends, it is the only way to keep them safe. I looked around and slept in a hole that I had dug into the ground. I woke up in the ground alone like I wanted to be, but I sensed someone else here and they were watching me. 

I looked around and caught the eye of the spying person, and i heard them cuss and try to hide from me, but I wasn't stupid and I could see them as they tried to sneak out. I looked at my body and saw that it was a orange color, and the lightning bolt had a black outline with one section being white, another section being red, and the rest of it being orange. I followed them to the campus, and landed in-front of them making them jump at least a foot in the air. 

Why were you following and spying on me I asked them 

"We were curious about why there was an orange thing sleeping in a hole, so we went over and accidentally stayed for too long" the boy said

"Why aren't you sleeping in a cabin, or dorm" the girl said

Because I don't know where it is, and because I like it out here I said now what are you two doing outside at night

"We were exploring the campus" the boys said, and I saw that he had a map in his pocket 

Okay then what were you doing in this part of the campus I said challenging them

"What is the lightning bolt on your side for" the girl said, and I knew that she was trying to change the subject. 

"And why do you have wings" the boy said

I have wings for flying of coarse, and I don't know what the lightning bolt does for me I said I won't ask you anymore questions, but please just leave me in peace and go back to your dorms for the night...and try to be quiet for others too. 

"Okay" the boy said "we will" and they went separate ways, and didn't bother me anymore for that night. Even though I couldn't breath I sighed because I couldn't go back to sleep anymore, so I just stayed up the rest of the night looking at the sky. 

The top is what she'll look like some time, and with a lightning bolt filled with white, red, and orange filling different sections of it. This is all for today and I will try to have the next chapter out soon for you guys. 11-2-17
