Chapter 31

Richard McCarthy's POV:

'Ahhhh it feels so nice to be able to touch her' my 'mind' said.

'I know and she's only mine' I said holding a sleeping Sapph. How can someone be so perfect? She's perfect in every way. Everything about her is perfect.

'I agree, she's a goddess who's sexy, cute, hot and cool in her own way' my 'mind' said and I just nodded looking at my perfect goddess.

"Why are you looking at me like that early in the morning?" Sapph asked still in sleep. Ahhhhhh she's so cute. I couldn't resist so I just captured her mouth and kissed her.

"Baby why are you so beautiful?" I questioned Sapph.

"Because I slept through the night and had a good night sleep" Sapph answered. Ahhh even the answers she gives are perfect. What to do, I have fallen very bad for her.

'You can always make love. Think about it' my 'mind' answered.

'I can but not just now, whenever she wants, I'll definitely' I answered my 'mind'.

'Well, there's no perfect timing for that. And do you think sweetheart would come and put forward the making love topic directly? She's shy. I can sense that she's wanting to do that since you met her. Just take the lead and do it. I know you can do it' my 'mind' said.

'No, I should take it slow and go at her pace' I answered my 'mind'.

'By the way when are you going to give her what you got her?' my 'mind' questioned me.

'I almost forgot' I answered my 'mind'. I got up and got the pendent which I got Sapph from the cabinet.

"Baby this is for you" Saying that I put the pendent around her neck. And kissed her neck.

"Why this now Richard?" Sapph questioned.

"Well Baby there's never a bad time to get gold and that to from designer Luna, you should never say no to her designer jewellery. So, please wear it always." I said to Sapph. Once I saw this in the store I knew I had to get it for my girl.

"Baby come on let's get out of the room and have some fun. Xander just texted me everyone is ready to go out" I said to Sapph and stood up but not before I gave her one last kiss. We both did our business and went out with others. We went to many tourist attractions, ate and had a lot of fun. I kept Sapph beside me all the time. I can giveaway anything just to see her smile.

"Richie I would like some ice-cream" Sapph asked.

"Anything for you baby. Just wait I'll go get it for you" Saying that I gave her a kiss and left. I got Sapph some ice-cream and went back. I was personally feeding her and one of my got-no-work-to-do-so-I'll-disturb-you friend interrupted.

"Ahhhh Richieeeeee I also want some ice-cream" Xander said opening his mouth wide enough that anyone could easily see his insides.

'Yea ask him to open his a** wide and shove it up his a**. The hell he's trying to act cute. ACKKKK I'm about to puke' my 'mind' said with so much disgust.

'Haha sometimes you seem good enough to be my 'mind' *laughs internally*' I said to my 'mind'.

"Get it yourself" I said to Xander and got back my attention back to Sapph while the others were laughing. The whole day my friends have been teasing me and Sapph. They were passing comments on everything I did for Sapph and I ignored them completely. We got back to the villa and Alvin got a call he answered it and as soon as he was done, he took Sapph aside and they talked something. Once they were done talking, Alvin said that he has some work so he'll be going back home tomorrow.

"Al even I'll come back with you" Sapph said.

"But baby just yesterday you said you wanted to stay here for few more days" I asked Sapph.

"Yea but I'm home sick now. And it's been a week since we came here so I think I've enjoyed enough. How about we go back Richie?" Sapph asked and I could already sense tension among Alvin and Sapph. Since yesterday, these sister and brother were off they sound different and look very tensed.

"Ok baby let's go back if that's what you want" I said. The others said that they'd stay for a few more days so we three just went back to our rooms and started packing.

"Baby are you ok? You seem nervous" I questioned Sapph while she was packing. She looked at me and I could tell that her tension increased hundred folds but, she changed her expressions and smiled.

"I'm ok Richie" Sapph answered.

"You know if something's troubling you, you can always talk about it to me" I said going towards Sapph and hugging her.

"I'm really ok Richie. Don't worry about me. Go and start packing" Sapph said I nodded and left to pack my stuff.

Few hours later...............

We finally reached our home and Sapph went back with Alvin. During the whole flight ride, these both were very quiet and didn't utter a word until asked for something. I was thinking about Sapph meanwhile I got a call.

"Hello" I answered.

"Mr.McCarthy, I've gotten the information which you wanted" my P.A said.

"Yes I'm home get it to me now" I answered back and cut the call.

Sapphire Miller's POV:

I just had to get back home. I could not believe what happened. I could not in a one million years imagine that she'd get to that extent. She should answer me. She should face me, She should talk to me, She should answer my questions.

As soon as we landed, I was eager to get back home. I couldn't even say a proper bye to Richard. I could tell that he's worried and he sensed my tension but what can I do I can't drag him into something that is meant for me to face. So, I had to lie to Richard.

Since the time we landed I called her but, she didn't answer. I kept on calling her the whole night but, she didn't answer. I knew thought it was her who could do such a stunt since the time Alvin told me what has happened. Was I too blind enough to not sense this coming? I thought about 101 scenarios of what she could do but this is something which I could think of.

Ring Ring Ringgggggggggggg AHHHHH MEL ANSWER YOUR DAMN PHONE. I'm becoming restless. I don't know what to do. She's not picking up my calls.

"Alvin she's not answering my calls. I can't think of anything that I can do right now rather than accompanying you. I'll come wherever you are and help you ok?" I called Alvin and said. Alvin dropped me home and went investigating on his own he didn't let me go with him. I should've gone with him.

"No Princess you stay home. I'm doing whatever I can princess. Just keep me updated about you and don't come out of the house." Alvin said and cut my call. This is all happening because of me. God what should I do now? I kept calling her but she wasn't answering.

She's not an evil person if only I could talk to her I will be able to convince her and make her realize that whatever she's doing is bad and she'd regret it later.

Unknown POV:

"Ok I'll give you two options one, get her here and die a bit later two, be stubborn and die early. What would you choose?" The voice said to the crying women. She waited and waited but didn't get any reply except for the women crying looking at an unconscious body beside her.

"Ok....... It's your lucky day coz she's calling me herself haahhah" The voice said and laughed evily.

"Hi......" The voice answered the phone.

"Hello Mel, Mel?" The voice on the other side of the phone answered.

"Ohhhh Sapphire, how are you doing? How was your holiday and how's your boyfriend by the way?" Mel asked.

"Mel, why are you doing this? Please don't do something you'll regret later" Sapph said crying.

"Awwww are you crying?" Mel asked smirking.

"Mel please don't do this" Sapph said crying into the phone.

"So cute. Look she's crying. Such a happy day for me" Mel said laughing.

"Why are you doing this?" Sapph shouted.

"Well I'll answer you if you answer some of my questions" Mel asked.

"Y-Yes" Sapph answered.

"Why did you have to come into my life?" Mel asked.

"........" Sapph had no answer for that. She was at the verge of crying again out of panic.

"Well you don't have answer for that. Answer this Why did you try to steal my thunder every time?" Mel questioned.

"Me- Mel I-I-I never.." Sapph could not complete the sentence. She cried hard at every question Mel put forward.

"No answer again ha Sapphire... Ok you're a bright student don't disappoint me now at least answer this. Why did you had to get everything that I wanted?" Mel Questioned. At this point Mel knew what Sapph was thinking and Mel enjoyed Sapph's pain.

"......." Sapph was crying hard now.

"AND LASTLY, WHY THE HELL DID YOU NOT DIE IN THAT CAR ACCIDENT?" Mel questioned with so much hatred evident in her voice.
