A mortal. An immortal. It could never happen right? That's what Nano always told herself. So did Ridge. Nobody would be able to accept it...It wasn't NORMAL. Mind, she wasn't normal. He wasn't normal. What was the definition of normal? Whatever it was, it meant that they were worlds apart; and stay that way.

Nano sighed, looking out of the window of Pandalabs as it rained. Lalna sat next to her, cup of coffee in hand. "I hate rain." He breathed heavily, and he nodded his head in agreement. Suddenly, the rain stopped. "Huh?" Lalna stood up, and then went to the door. Hovering infront of Pandalabs was...him. Duncan was never fond of Ridgedog, not after all the pain he put them through.

He seemt a changed man now; always showing up to help Nano whenever she couldn't work anything out - essentially stealing his job. Its not like he didn't enjoy it though; although it brought out the darker sides of him. Nano always kept him occupied, he was thankful for that. The stuff of the past. It was not joyful. Not like now. Infact, the opposite to now.

Ridge notices him staring and floats down toward the door. "Hey Lalnabluddy." Lalna raises an eyebrow, suddenly more privative, and a little more angry. "Lalnabluddy? Whats wit the l? And what do you want?" It's now that he notices that Ridge is hiding something. No bother asking him; he'd make it dissapear. "I wanna speak to Nano...P-Please." Lalna re-raises his eyebrow, he had never seemt this nervous before. He called to Nano, and she and Ridge went down to the Twilight Forest to talk; as always.

"Hey Nano..I got you these." He pulls fresh flowers from behind his back, the rare kinds you got from the Twilight Forest. Squeling in delight, Nano amorously took it, hugging him, and him spinning around until they were both dizzy. "They aren't spawned in either! Thanks Ridge!" He nods at her respectively, smiling. "Anything for a lady such as yourself."

Nano blushes, and leans in to kiss him on the cheek. As she does so, Ridge moves, and so does she. It's a quick peck on the lips, but sweet. They're both blushing massively at this point, and Nano decides to speak up. "I-II...I should probably g-get going..." As she begins to walk away, Ridge shouts after her.

"Nano wait!" He comes up behind her, and puts her hand in his. She turns around to face him, his eyes pleading for her to stay. "Nano...I like - no. I love you Nano. So...I was thinking of asking...If we could...be together?" Nano's face brightens up like a light, and shefull on hugs him, with so much force they both end up crashing to the ground. "Yes Ridge. Yes I will." She whispers.

Later on, Ridge leaves, and Nano goes back. Lalna's working on a machine, silent. She decides to go straight to bed, and sleeps until morning.

---Magical time skip---

It had beeen months since Ridge and Nano had become a pair. Lalna's apprentice had soon left him, leaving him alone with his darker thoughts once more. She moved in with Ridge, into a house they had built themselves, from scratch too. Ridgedog had deactivated his god mode - he hoped for good too.

Everything was going brilliant, until Lalna dissapeared for good. Ridge had to go and sort out some stuff at a lab, and when he came back, he was a completly different person. Still sweet on the outside, but Nano could tell something was horribly wrong. Ridge started to spend more time at the lab, as did Xephos.

Ridge had started to help with Yoglabs once more. Lalna hadn't gone missing - he had gone insane. There was room preserved for him - made of glass, a design he made himself for if the dark thoughts should consume him, he would forget the make - but would be kept inside. Ridge couldn't tell Nano - he'd be killed. Cloned. Told to forget. Even admins could forget the greatest of things.

One thing that went wrong when Lalna went insane - he wiped his own mind. Inside his own mind, Ridge had placed a block for Nano against the flux. He had to bargain for this with the other admins, and give up being able to be an admin in any dimension but this one - now it was all for naught. Now the flux was going to catch up, and they couldn't run. That's when the mentality clicked back in. He had seen all his friends die before him - so much that it didn't bother him before. It would never bother him.

With a crooked smile, he returned to his 'home'. Nano waited for him, but the second he stepped in, eyes lowered, she could sense something wrong. "R-Ridge?" He didn't move. She stretched out her hand. He slapped it, and looked right i her eye, fire burning in his own. She had never seen him like this - it made her want to throw up.

"It's...It's over Nano." He turned around and walked out the door. "RIDGE WAIT!" Tears began to tear up in Nano's eyes. He stopped, and looked back at her. "Don't be so sentimental, Nano. This love was accidental. This was never meant to be more than a memory for you." And with that, he activated his admin powers, and flew away, cackling into the icy cold air.

Nano broke down in a pool of tears, and clutched at her chest as she felt something eating away at her. The flux. It began to eat so quickly, eating away all of her memories, and breaking her little heart and breaking it into two. Xephos found her after being alerted that asmin mode was activated. By the time he arrived at the labs, she had almost gone.

Ridge was at the labs later that night. Xephos had cloned Nano, and called the first one "Kim". Kim had forgotten everything with Ridgedog. All she remembered was Lalna, and Xephos running towards her, eyes glowing, picking her up and then...nothing. She lived in a cell made to repel flux, right next to Lalna's.Ridge visited often, but he wasn't sad. He was...happy. A sick happiness, that of a mad mans. After all...

He was the time admin, feared by all, ruler of the lands. Nobody and nothing, not even love, was going to stop him from being the most feared man in all of minecraftia.
