Amara's POV:

I woke and went feel for Thomas but his side was cold indicating he had been gone a while. I frowned and opened my eyes. My eyes felt swollen from all the crying I had done.

Sighing I got up and got dressed, walked down to the kitchen and only seen Akira.

"Hey." I said quietly.

Her head snapped up and she smiled brightly. She stood and crushed me into a hug. "Hey hun how are you? How do you feel?"

I laughed, "I feel fine. Maybe a bit tired but fine. Where is Thomas?" I asked as we took seats at the bar.

"He's with Blay. Guy stuff.." she said cryptically.

I shrugged it off, figuring he needed to get his mind off things. I uncounciously touched my stomach and sighed.

"I'm so sorry..." Akira muttered in a whisper.

I looked at her, I don't know if she intended for me to hear or not since she was looking down. I placed my hand over hers and when she looked up she had tears streaming down her cheeks.

"Akira.. it's.. it's okay.." I breathed, "it just wasn't time for us, but I haven't lost hope for a family. For now, Thomas and you and this pack are good enough for me.." I smiled sadly.

She looked at me weird and I raised a brow, "what?"

"I don't think I could be like you Amara. You've been through so much, and then you get kidnapped and almost died.. only to wake and find out you lost..." she shook her head and hugged me. "Your the strongest person I know Amara. I love you so much, your my best friend and are a sister to me. I just hate seeing that sadness in you, and not being able to help you."

I hugged her back, her scent of Lillie's calming me slightly. "Thank you... for always being my friend Akira. I love you too.."

I pulled away slowly wiping my eyes, "now since we have time to ourselves. You said something about explaining in your letter you sent me?" I asked finally remembering.

She nodded and began, "well.. to put it shortly. My papa was murdered by a Alpha who's pack went around kidnapping females. He came upon Day Pack and he made his claim on me." She said sadly, "papa knew something would happen so he gave me instructions on what I should do if something were to happen. And a week past no problems.. but he came back..." she bowed her head, "the Alpha killed my papa while he was protecting me.. and when I was safe I came here.. met my mate.." she looked at me and smiled.

"Dis you get the Alpha back?" I asked, rage filling me. I remember her father and he was so sweet, so caring. He loved Akira dearly and he treated me just as he did her.

She nodded, "yes.. he kidnapped me. He kept me for two days and I ended up shifting.." she breaths shakily, "he was coming in to drug me.. so that he could mate with me but no I was so angry at him and when I shifted I snapped his neck.." I gasped but I wasn't horrified or upset to hear my best friend killed him.

"I got better... Blay, Thomas and the pack saved me. I found out I was pregnant..." I closed my eyes. "I have a son now named Alex." She smiled and I looked at her.

"You, he...he is alive?" I asked surprised. She nodded.

"I was lucky....." she said, but I heard slight guilt and became confused. "I dont understand how I could be beaten and shift but my pup survived.. but yours..." she shook her head.

I understood her guilt now, but I sighed. "Akira.. I am thankful your son survived. Don't pity me, or feel bad. I promise I am okay.. I will over come this loss, this....emptyness. And I have so many to help me." I smiled at her.

She nodded and we hugged yet again, I pulled away and beamed at her. "So where is my nephew??" I asked excitedly.

She chuckled and stood, "follow me." I followed her out to the back yard and stopped dead.

The entire pack was in the back yard looking at me. And what made my heart beat wildly was Thomas. He was standing there in the front smiling at me. I looked to Akira and she just smiled at me and went to her mate.

Thomas walked forward and took my hands, "Thomas...wha-" he kissed me lightly and pulled away smiling. I stared up at him wide eyed.

"Amara, you are amazing.. I know our first meeting was less than romantic and I know that so much has happened since." His hands tightened slightly "you are the bravest, strongest, most beautiful woman I know and I am thankful to the moon goddess that she has blessed me with someone as perfect as you." He kneeled down on one knee and I gasped.

Tears already threatened to spill out of my eyes as I stared down at him. "Amara Rene Evans, will you make me the luckiest and happiest man in the world and become my wife?" He said while pulling out a simple yet beautiful ring. The band had three small square cut diamonds on each side of a oval shaped diamond.

I never hesitated, I tackled him to the ground hearing laughs, and awwwes. "Yes, yes, yes! I will..." I buried my face into his neck.

"I love you baby.." he whispered, I pulled back and he slipped the ring onto my finger, "I love you too Thomas, always and forever." And then we kissed..

We socialized and talked to all the pack members. We heard so many congratulations that I couldn't count and I met my nephew Alex who is smart and gentle. But tough and well let's just say you can tell who his parents are..

After the members began to leave, Thomas and I snuck away to our room. Once we made it inside and he shut the door he attacked my neck with his lips, his tongue flicking over his mark which dragged a moan from me.

I wrapped my arms around him, my fingers tangled in his hair and I tugged lightly which made him groan.

"I need you Amara.." he said breathless, and his voice was oh so sexy when he was lusty.

"Then take me. I need you too... please.." I begged, he didn't hesitate he stripped me quickly riping my shirt and bra away while I worked my pants. Before I could remove my panties he grabbed my thighs and lifted me. I automatically wrapped my legs around him, feeling his hardness press against my core.

He laid me on the bed and stepped back a bit more in control he removed all of his cloths, then he grabbed my panyies and slid then down so very slowly. I couldn't stop the groan of frustration at his teasing.

"Thomas, pleaseeeee" I panted, his hands touching me everywhere making me burn for more.

I didn't have to wait to long before he entered me and we both rode our way to pleasure.

After we laid there wrapped around each others bodies. Panting for breath. "I love you, so much Amara."

"I love you too Thomas.." I listened to his heart as I lulled me to sleep.
